I found the flowers on amazon

Posting initially without links and will edit them in my mobile browser is crashy.

Keychain: nite-ize S-biner bottle opener 2.98 (it's really useful to clip onto belt loops etc for cycling)

Wallet: A6 leather notebook cover wallet w/ pen loop - 36.99( fantastic thing to have i would imagine, a6 is w bit larger than "field notes")

Pen: Kaweco Sport in blue. 24.94 (It is the space pen of fountain pens)

Knife: Case Sodbuster in american workman blue - 24.98 (I am a sucker for a traditional slip-joint)

Light: Maglite Solitaire in blue 9.43 (very tiny and pocketable, 40 lumen, made in the USA!)

It comes to 99 and change

I know this will get buried but I have decided to revamp my whole EDC.

/u/ieatedjesus I have taken the plunge on the Wallet you have recomended. I hate when a product has no reviews or I can't do research about it but whatever. I'm also super stingy with money so this is a huge deal for me lol ($42 with engraving)

As for the pen, I have decided to get a Fisher Space Pen $15. I have 3. Now I will have 4. (also bought a clip $5) ((also bought fieldnotes $10 for the wallet))

/u/odomandr I have decided to go with that knife $16. Nothing sexier than a good stone wash and minimalist design. I also need a knife. No idea about the quality but today I have decided to trust a total stranger on /r/EDC

/u/Ryl4nd99 Thank you for the great idea of a post! I hope to post again when everything comes in. I decided to add/replace my edc with the items above. I also carry a muthafuckin Casio as well as an Olight s2 Baton along with dollar store chapstick. Hopefully I can keep you updated or make a new post when all my goodies come in!

Sorry for the wall of text. Thank you for reading.

D&M Leather Studio leather notebook wallet. Timex expedition with leather nato strap, ust waterproof matches, homemade leather and citrus solid cologne, rough rider camp knife (in honor of teddy Roosevelt and because it's my favorite edc), line of trade key holder from BespokePost and a pair of American optical aviators.

Yea, I just feel that a pillow is the worst thing to use. Maybe a little lamp or something?

u/Jonah_Cade · 4 pointsr/horror

It's not really new, but if he doesn't already have one, Amazon has a good-looking Hellraiser Lament Configuration Puzzle Box...would make a good centerpiece.

u/Anhedonaholic · 4 pointsr/horror

I think most Hellraiser fans would love to get their own replica of the Lament Configuration puzzle box.

There are some that actually open and move, but they are significantly more expensive.

Depending on how your giftee dresses, maybe consider a shirt or something from their favorite movie(s) from somewhere like Fright Rags.

EDIT: Or perhaps tickets to a horror convention!

Just check on Amazon there's a few different good leather options. I made mine based on one that bexar goods makes, but they're expensive. Here's an Amazon offering

Might not be the right place for this, apologies if its not.

I'm looking for help with a console to setup my turntable with some record storage. I have a space next to the couch that I'm looking to fill with a console to house my turntable/amp/preamp and some records. Looking for a nice piece of furniture in the $600 range, and it needs to be roughly 40-50" wide. Here's the problem, what every I find, outside of the really expensive pieces, are either too shallow for my amp or too wide for the space. Anyone have setup that houses their amps and turntable for a reasonable cost. My amp is and Adcom GFA 555ii so its 17" deep which is the real killer. I feel like I'm going to have to build something my self, but my woodworking skills, although above average, are not good enough to makes something of the quality I'm looking for.

Best ones I've found so far are these two:

CB2 Dean (But I think the amp would look ugly just sitting on the bottom shelf exposed.

Hairpin Legs Storage (would like it to a little wider for amp and more records)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I can't find the exact one because I bought it so long ago, but it's very similar to this. I use a moleskine and a leather cover. Amazon link

There's some cool Marauder's Map related stuff. Like these mugs. Or these notebooks. There's also a banner and a throw rug somewhere on amazon that are pretty cool too.

EDIT:

Marauder's glass.

Gryffindor glass.

Gryffindor shot glass. (or a set of all the houses for friends)

These scissors are pricey but really cool.

Here is a link to some Star Wars cross stitch patterns ranging from simplistic to advanced patterns.

I just recently discovered the use of needle minders. I love them!!! Here's a link for him a Star Wars one.

https://www.amazon.com/Star-Resin-Needle-Minder-Notion/dp/B07N6KDNDY/ref=sr_1_50?keywords=needle+minder&qid=1565287373&s=gateway&sr=8-50

Another item that I have found extremely useful is a disappearing ink marker. If he is working on counted cross stitch, once the center of the cloth is found for the pattern, the grid can be marked in relation to the center and it makes it extremely easy to know where the pattern is according to the grid lines. The ink disappears in less that 24 hours without any residual color (I use purple to contrast the aida cloth and the thread colors).

I hope he finds it enjoyable and relaxing.

My wife showed her father in law one on Amazon, and he made it himself. Based off of this:

Is this the random leather field notes cover you bought? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071G7958X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_uw0XDbWKBHEB1

u/crotchetyoldcynic · 1 pointr/notebooks

I have two that were made by OleksynPrannyk in both dark blue and dark brown leather with my initials on them that I really like. The basic cover is around $30. He also sells several other versions on Amazon with card slots, pen holders, etc. at very reasonable prices.

He also makes a front pocket wallet for about $15 that I wouldn't be without. I have about eight credit cards, drivers license, concealed carry cards plus a couple others in it plus some walking around money (WARM) and it fits easily in the front pocket of my jeans.

This is an age old question. There are a couple of things I think are important when talking about this. There are generally 2 things that make sex good or bad. The physical and the mental. When doing long distance like this the physical is lacking so the emotional has to take over. Doing things like sending small packages to your boyfriend or girlfriend can mean a lot. A nice and well placed text or call just to show your interested in there life is also amazing. Devices like the touch lamp can show your thinking about them. That being said, if you are looking for things that are exclusively physical. There are obviously things like Skype sex and sex toys that link to your phone so you can control the other persons toy. I don’t know about you but even at the best of times dirty talk can be awkward so card and dice can help get the talking started. But above all the best advice I can give you is to communicate. Tell each other what you like. What works and what doesn’t. Don’t lie to save the others feelings it never works in the long term. Hope this has helped.

For the skin picking, would probably help to get or make her a fidget blanket, like this.

Even if she's in a home, it's probably a good thing to have.

Good luck!
