Might I suggest a nice cup of passion flower tea? It has a lovely flavor and is a great way to rid yourself of unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Lavender oil applied to pillowcase, herbal tea, a hot bath with soothing music, sleep mask and earplugs.

Trazodone works, too.

There are some tips in this self-help brochure on the Counseling Center's webpage.

I have found drinking chamomile tea to be helpful - it helps me relax. I get this chamomile lavender tea from Strawberry Fields.

This isn't exactly tea but I highly recommend the Dandy Blend. Just spoon it in and mix with water. Instant coffee that's not coffee. Tastes a LOT like it too.

Also Teecino makes a ton of herbal flavors too including ones you can brew like coffee. They are easier to find in the store. I still like the Dandy Blend better but here are options!

It's Pukka Vanilla Chai without sugar or milk it's still good but tastes almost christmasy? With 2 tablespoons of skimmed milk and splenda it ends up around 38 but tastes a lot like starbucks. The Sweet Vanilla blend is also lovely as iced tea!

Thank you! It's been really hard to ignore that little voice that says "Well you've already eaten a slice of pizza, might as well go the whole hog." but I've been telling myself that I can whatever as long as it factors into my count which has really helped. Good luck with your journey too, it's hard but in the end it'll be worth it! :)

Love me some barley tea, especially when the weather is warm. I love the nutty, toasty flavor.

During the colder months I drink a lot of tea (usually green). I like tea because I can keep adding hot water and more tea bags. Sometimes I drink ginger "tea" sweetened with a bit of dark brown sugar--basically just lots of sliced ginger simmered in water.

There's always a container of plain (unsweetened) almond milk in my fridge. (I'm lactose-intolerant.)

Every once in a while I still want some orange juice.

But usually I just drink water.

When we were little my sisters and I would take our barbies and all our accessories and pile them up and have "yard sales" where we would trade things for other things. We were pretty freaking poor and so we couldn't just go out and buy new things, this was how we got new stuff for our barbies. :D It was really fun and I miss those days a lot.

I'd love this tea!

The heartburn could last throughout the whole pregnancy :(, I found that using this Heartburn Tea helped A LOT!

The morning sickness... it depends on each person. Find something that helps and try to get to a happy place. For me powdered donuts helped my nausea.

I make a an herbal infusion: chamomile, passion flower, catnip, calendula, oat grass. I call it my Mellowing Agent and I always have a huge Mason jar of it on hand. Also this tea works if you just want to buy some online:

https://www.amazon.com/Tadin-Tea-Siete-Azahares-1-01-Ounce/dp/B001SAYE5I

Drink a few cups a few hours before bed. Try taking a hot bath, too.

Morning with black coffee:

  • Gummy vitamins (best breakfast ever, 15 calories)
  • Wellbutrin
  • Bronkaid (I call it 'kaid, because look at ME SO COOL)

    After work: second Wellbutrin

Bed time (with Yogi Bedtime Tea ):

  • Benadryl or theraflu (every day, or I CAN NOT sleep)
  • Melatonin

Then I have a 20-40 minute skin care routine that I do while waiting for the downers to kick in.

Bengal spice chai is awesome for making nom nom chai lattes! I like mine extra spicy so I use two tea bags per 8 oz and then add a touch of agave and half and half. Super super good.

u/skalafurey · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

If you're orally fixated like my husband is, it helped him to chew on tea bags, especially this stuff because of its components. He basically went cold turkey last year, and hasn't gone back. I wish you best of luck. My dad is a heavy smoker (2 packs a day kind) and my husband was close to that. It made a huge difference when he quit. You can do it!!

u/pollyannapusher · 2 pointsr/stopdrinking

Thanks for the feedback on the taste. I love herbal tea, but at the same time I'm kind of picky. Is this the one you purchased? (I know you said $18, but wasn't sure) One person said they they roast it themselves in the oven!

u/samibeautyaesthetic · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

It's all about the karma and some lovely tea!

Chamomile is generally used for relaxation, also valerian, and stevia. They are generally thought to be relaxing, especially in Mexico.

This is a tea blend that I recommend http://www.amazon.com/TranquilyTea-Anti-anxiety-Passion-Flower-Linden/dp/B003IVWZP6/ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_img_y

I use it almost everyday and sleep like a baby...even after a day worth of Mate, Coffee and OOlong tea.

u/seeker135 · 1 pointr/Anxiety

I also take meds. Ativan, to be precise. But there are days where I need something more. This tea takes the edge off. It doesn't eliminate the anxiety, just helps take the worst edge off. You can make iced tea, too. Most grocery stores have it.

u/Vasallo7G · 1 pointr/ketogains

I also have that problem. Been taking some tea before going to sleep and doing 10 min PM destresser yoga by Rodney Yee routine

Here's the link! Enjoy :) !!! I usually put a bit less than a tbsp, I don't take out the "leaves" from the cup, simply let it drop to the bottom.. then I refill with more hot water 2-3 times more.

u/inspector_norse · 1 pointr/travel

Herbal shit you say? Maybe, but the tea in this review is absolutely excellent, check it out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B000E65OQA/RE8XQ61B2OO3F/ref=mw_dp_cr?cursor=2&qid=1405726587&sort=rd&sr=8-12 it's my personal favourite and works like a charm.

u/jixie007 · 1 pointr/tea

You might give Harney & Son's herbal Cinnamon Spice (made with rooibos) a try as well, between the two we liked the herbal more (to be fair, I'm pretty sure I way over steeped the regular one).

I haven't tried this one I've heard a lot of good about Good Earth Sweet and Spicy

u/Idiot_Stick · 1 pointr/MAA2

it was great! I used to get these little Japanese blooming flower pods that would expand once you put them in hot water. I used to work at Sony world headquarters and my Japanese friends would hook me up. I have to admit, they didn't taste all that great - but boy they looked cool!

u/SaltyBabe · 1 pointr/askscience

Tazo tea makes a tea win Valerian root in it, there is a slight hint of it but it's still very tasty and mostly just tastes like tea that is a bit off.

u/cagedwisdom7 · 1 pointr/xxketo

I hope you like it! Let me know how it goes!

You might also be interested in trying dandelion root as a coffee substitute. The reviews here give a lot of good suggestions for how to make it taste the best: http://www.amazon.com/Starwest-Botanicals-Organic-Dandelion-1-pound/dp/B003AYEHGQ/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1394031215&sr=8-9&keywords=dandelion+root+tea

u/filmmakersbleed · 1 pointr/Coffee

There is Dandy Blend, an herbal coffee substitute, if you miss the taste.

Personally, I think the best way is to reduce the amount you drink each day by a serving; as against quitting cold turkey. When you've reached 1 cup, switch to green tea.

Drink lemon water with a few generous sprinkles of cayenne pepper. Very good natural energy, and healthy for you. Also, drink plenty of water in general. Water should be about room temp or warmer, (no ice).

Lots of different varieties of herbal tea. Currently enjoying: celestial seasonings bengal spiceand yogi roasted dandelion spice detox and Red Rooibos tea. I'm very hesitant about diving into the whole 'weight loss and appetite suppressant' world of teas...untested and unregulated. Just sipping on flavorful hot beverages seems to curb my desire to snack at night. I drink a variety of green and black teas during the morning, but too much caffeine late in the day affects my sleep.

u/istara · 1 pointr/fasting

I will try this!

I found another wonderful option this week, chocolate "tea". It's actually just cocoa husks, but it is amazingly "tea like" with a wonderful chocolate aroma.

It's being sold by T2 teas here in Australia, but it's a new product and I can't see it on their website yet. However if you google "cocoa husk tea" it looks like there are plenty of other buying options, eg Amazon.

u/keakealani · 1 pointr/tea

Mugicha (barley tea). A nutty, earthy flavor that is very satisfying to drink and totally caffeine free. I grew up on these mega bags (which can be brewed hot too even though the package says to brew it cold) and have never been disappointed.
