I wouldn't trust the '3000lm' claim, for starters, and by the look of the COB and lens, it'll throw a round spot, rather than a broad flood.

I've got something that looks to be the OEM version of this, and that does have a (somewhat dimmer) floody option.

For almost pure flood, I'd say this style is more the sort you should be looking for.

For 3/8 impact sockets go with the Sunex 3342 master set. It has both SAE and Metric and comes with both short and deep well for $68 and they're made from Cr-Mo instead of Cr-V like the Tekton ones are.

Edit: For wrenches check out the Tekton 18772 and 18792 sets, I own both of these sets and like them a lot and just now noticed that they're on sale right now.

My friends and I use a flood light similar to this one for night climbs in addition to head lamps. The 30W is good for illuminating 40ft walls.

The 8 AA's that come with the lights are alkalines and are packed in place with an insulator, to keep them in perfect condition.

These work lights are extremely effective and versatile. They fit into a Tacoma bed tie-down track well enough to hold in any angle.

[I have no connection with this manufacturer or seller, but am a satisfied customer of both.]

It would probably just be better to help her set up a little photo booth. All you need is 1 or 2 of those vinyl white shower curtains (not shiny), and one of [these clamp lamps] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WEPJD2/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_A3pptb0S5SE0X). Tell her she will probably wanna take pictures from several angles to include on the website.

Here's a site to explain how to build the photo booth. Relatively inexpensive, pretty professional looking background though. http://www.studioonashoestring.com/310/how-to-set-up-a-photo-booth-in-your-home/

I got mine from an outfitter, but I here is the first result I found on Amazon for similar ones.
That should at least give you a starting point. You can definitely do a permanent install on them. I just like to store them away when I'm not using them. Plus I have used them away from the car - a few times on the boat, and I even had one I put on the roof of my house to spotlight some asshole kid that kept driving through with his music so loud it was rattling my windows. Hit him with a spotlight out of nowhere at the stop sign four or five times and he gets the message.

I forgot which dewalt saw i had. But the one feature i loved was the light accessory. It shines a led light on the blade, creating a shadow on your work piece, which means its easy to eyeball where the kerf is. No calibration needed, like some saws with a laser.

If I was in the market for one, that’s a requirement.

I have that same led flood light that does the blue/red "emergency" flash that they're using.

Yes, more light! When they stretch like that it means they need more light. There's some pretty inexpensive options on Amazon -

Grow light.

Clamp.

What you are interested in is red light, not infrared. Infrared light has a longer wavelength than red light and is invisible to the naked eye. For an article explaining the effect of red light on wound healing, see this paper.

As far as I know, no one has scientifically proven that red light therapy accelerates foreskin restoration specifically. However, papers such as the one linked above suggest that it might be beneficial. Personally, I believe that it does help at least slightly, and that this small benefit is worth the time and money investment required. Ultimately you will have to make that judgment yourself.

I use this light. This light is simply a bulb. You must use a clamp lamp or socket with it so that you can turn it on and/or mount it . I purchased this clamp lamp, which allows me to easily mount the right light to my desk for hands-free sessions.

I do a 10 minute session twice per day, one in the morning after waking up and one before bed. I divide each session into four parts of 2.5 minutes each during which I irradiate the the dorsal, ventral, left, and right side of my penis. I keep my testicles covered by my boxers during the entire session so that the light only hits my foreskin. I remember reading somewhere that red light might have an impact on the testicles, and I see no reason to take the risk when covering them is so easy.

Hope that helps !

I've used hanging work lamp with a pair of 26 watt CFLs on a Y splitter. Hanging lamp was cheaper at walmart ($10) Warm white CFLs seemed to work slightly better than cool white but may depend on what you're growing.

I'm almost positive that you need a spotlight now. I was pretty sure, when you mentioned target ID while on overwatch, but now I'm almost 100% sure.

You will need someone else to spot for you, or at least have a clear line of sight from your overwatch position to mount it as seen in the fourth image of the link below, but you need a spotlight.

https://www.amazon.com/Hyperikon-Temporary-Construction-Portable-Waterproof/dp/B07DJXV74L I'm just sending this link for the picture. My light fixture is basically this concept. It has a cage and a long cord but you can choose the light you want to put in it and my light is a much lower power. Mine is pretty old so maybe they don't sell the ones which are exactly like mine but this is getting close.

u/strangetrip666 · 1 pointr/whatisthisthing

It's so big to be a light! I was thinking a motion sensor or something instead of LEDs.

I'll have to thank my apartment maintenance guy for the light the next time I see him. Haha

Solved!

I agree. Buy yourself a few rechargable lights like this one, a solar panel like this one, and you'll end up spending about half the original $150 pricetag.

u/HoWheelsWork · 1 pointr/AutoDetailing

Halogen lights are very nice, but they're also very hot. I have a setup similar to this, which works beautifully, but I wouldn't want to be in a closed garage in the summer with them.

For $90, you can have one too.

remote led spotlight

I like GearWrench, and LOVE my 120xp, but you might look at Sunex sockets too: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MVB9Y8/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3BY2RN9JGSIBG&colid=1ZWMXPDSJW9YU
I don't have their sockets yet, just 1/2" impact extensions, but I've heard good things and plan on picking them up some day.

u/HybridCamRev · 1 pointr/Filmmakers

/u/FeatherClad - the Frugal Filmmaker did a [blog post and video on Work Light Hacking] (http://filmflap.blogspot.com/2011/02/work-light-hacking.html) a while back that you may find interesting.

You can pick up a [couple of 150W halogen work lights on Amazon UK for £16.18] (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003TNY94I/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B003TNY94I&linkCode=as2&tag=hybrcamerevo-21) [Referral Link].

Point them at the ceiling and you'll have a couple of bright, inexpensive bounce lights.

Hope this is helpful and good luck!

I've got a Streamlight Waypoint (~$60 on Amazon) and love it. I used it when I worked for FedEx and was out delivering in the dark; perfect for hitting house numbers from the street. Doesn't see much use now days, but it's a damn good light for the money; I did not buy the rechargeable version.

u/nlwric · 1 pointr/rva

I had a package stolen just before Christmas. I think it was the high school kids who walk by the house every afternoon (I live near TJ). They got these and this. Hope you enjoyed them you pieces of shit.

u/MangosteenMD · 1 pointr/Photoclass_2018

I love your triforces! Great choice of shape to complement your subject.

And I feel you re: not having enough hands! Flexible work lights can be a good alternative to a handheld flashlight. Flexible tripods are more versatile; you can screw or tape a lot of things onto them, if you have lights you already use. If you're using light bulbs, clamp work lights are also an option.

u/RobotPigOverlord · 1 pointr/budgies

I also have a UVB light bulb in a clamp light attached to the cage, that's plugged into an outlet timer from 8am to 5pm. Windows filter out uvb light and it affects birds in a few ways. It impedes their ability to absorb calcium/vitamin D, and it also affects their vision. Birds have ultraviolet sensitivity (they can see things in the ultraviolet spectrum that humans cannot see), and in the absence of natural light (which contains uv rays), they can't see those things they would normally see because uv rays illuminate them to birds (such as patterns on other birds feathers). Their world is much duller visually, in the absence of unfiltered natural light (or artificial uvb light made for animals).

I use this bulb in this lamp. Mine clamps on the outside of the cage, with the bulb close to the cage so my birds, when they are sitting on their preferred perches, theyre less than 12 inches from the bulb.

This makes sense. Even though I'm not really an avid user of porn (unless you count SLS and AFF profiles, which I rarely if ever use as masturbatory material. Most of that comes from my Kindle erotica readings 8^) ).
The reason I say it makes sense is that our friends like to keep the lights dim when we're playing. I've mentioned to my wife I would rather leave them on as I am a very visual person.

Possibly I should just bring a set of my work lights to the room next time. hahaha. something like this...http://www.amazon.com/Designers-Edge-L13-1000-Watt-Telescope/dp/B0007WJJFS/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1453766144&sr=8-10&keywords=work+lights
