you can make them or you can find online. they fit in there just like a normal button would. I had the exact same ones for my ps4 controller

Best controller I've had was a Mad Catz micro GameCube controller. I love the way it felt and it just seemed like the exact size I wanted, so it was a great fit for me.

Worst controller would have to be the Wii U pro controller I bought recently. :( While I absolutely adore the feel of it, the connection is just so bad. I'll input moves and they frequently won't register onscreen for 1-2 seconds, and sometimes they don't register at all. I'd estimate that 75-80% of my inputs work just fine, but that 20-25% that are dropped or delayed can really just ruin a match for me. It's strange, because I've even experimented with putting the sensor bar for my Wii U right a foot away from my controller while I play and I still see the exact same issues. It's such a shame, because it's a great controller otherwise.

If you want something small and portable I'd recommend anything from 8bitdo. I own the one in the link below and it works well. It's small though so it may be harder to use with big hands though I haven't had to many problems.

[Here you go!] (https://www.amazon.com/DualShock-Wireless-Controller-PlayStation-Chameleon/dp/B075XS65T9) it's on the pricey side, but in my country considering the shipping cost and everything, it's similar to the price range of plain ones

I picked up a Game Handle Grip for my Samsung Galaxy S8+ today (would work with Apple too) and it feels so much better! It's much more comfortable, my hands and thumbs feel like they're in a more natural position and not straining. I can also see more screen now, which is great. I can tell it's going to help a lot.

This is the one I went with...

SUNCHI Universal Mobile Game Handle Grip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0786C5Z8C?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I find that with the Special Attack Button being in a fixed position, while phone aspect ratios and hand sizes differ, that there is more or less hand strain to play for different people/devices. I personally noticed a big difference when I moved to my new Samsung S8+ from a S7 Edge last summer. I also use to miss my Specials quite a bit because the hit area for that button wasn't in the spot that felt natural for my thumb. However, this Grip has definitely changed that!

Part of the problem too is that we were never meant to do this. Holding a phone and playing MCoC for hours/days/weeks... is completely unnatural and will take it's toll on everyone eventually. Especially since Kabam seems determined to keep us playing as much as possible :(

Kabam could help this by creating a setting that allows users to manually position the Special Attack Button where is comfortable for them, which would be saved on the device so that it could be device specific.

I do agree that joining a retirement alliance and playing less is very good idea.

All the best!

I bought this controller off of amazon. It is not mfi but is Bluetooth. There are other companies selling it with their name on the title/description but they are all the same. You install an app on your phone and use that to setup the controls for different games. It works with pubg. I have only tested it with pubg because they already had controls setup.

This is pretty much what i hear a lot as well. I however have had a good experience using the max catz micro controllers. I had two, and we used them SO much, that they eventually wore out and i couldn't find the same ones anymore. To keep this fair, they fit my and my friends hands nearly perfectly, where as the normal Nintendo gamecube controller always felt too big for us at the time. We also did not experience any of the many proclaimed issues they were supposedly supposed to have. Maybe we got the only good two controllers, but they worked like a hot damn!

Now i prefer the normal controller as well, as my hands have grown to the right size and don't feel too small anymore, which is nice. It's too bad my normal controllers are starting to wear out too... Maybe i can find those madcatz ones again if i look hard enough.

Here kitty kitty kitty.....

HA, found it. lol

The game is not very good at being compatible with anything other than a 360 controller. I'm currently using a Kinobo with this program in order to emulate a 360 pad and it's still giving me a bunch of minor annoyances that I have to deal with (such as having the dash/run function be on button 4 instead of 2 and disabling my start button). It's a good controller for the price though, so I guess I'd recommend it if you're willing to jump through all those hoops.

u/recursivethought · 1 pointr/gadgets

ah sorry. I have this.

I have 2 complaints. I needed to take my last phone (LGG2, not a huge phone) out of its case (Otterbox commuter-size) to fit it. The toher issue is the weight distribution at a comfortable 45deg angle makes it back-heavy. Sitting position isn't ideal for extended periods, may cause wrist discomfort. In bed with knees curled up this wasn't a problem. Other than that this is a great controller, connected to my PC as well.

I have NOT tried this, but I'm considering it. Again, the size of your phone will determine whether this will work for you. Also the shape of the controller isn't modern-style, it's not ergo or anything. I'm wondering if it's overpriced but it might be worth the wrist comfort.

That's all the experience I have. I know I don't like a separate controller for sure, so I just wanted to recommend something with a clamp.
