Second the recommendation to take her to see a doctor and to buy bras one cupsize up. One cupsize up can be easily hidden by shortening the straps.

I would also recommend bras that have stretch lace in the cup, they make it easier to hide a too large or too small cup. Panache Andorra, Clara, Envy, Jasmine, Cleo Hettie, Curvy Kate Ellace and one or two Lepel bras have stretch lace.

There are two stretchy nursing bras / bralettes that she could use, the Royce Blossom and the Bravado Essential Embrace, but both only come in a 32 band, so she would need to sistersize. Both would be more a lounge bra or "my breasts are so sore I cannot stand anything with underwire today"-bra.

Bra struggle is intense when pregnant! I needed new bras the first trimester (dang those things grow fast!). I found a brand on amazon was a huge help. They’re technically nursing bras, but they’re stretchy and supportive. They’ve lasted my entire pregnancy and have held up well. This is the version I bought, but they have a “full coverage” version too.

I got these from Amazon. They are comfortable and I wear them all the time! However, they don't lay super flat under shirts so I'll have to find something else when I go back to work.

u/Hnnh_07 · 6 pointsr/BabyBumps

I used these before and after pregnancy: Intimate Portal Women Under The Bump Maternity Panties Pregnancy Underwear 5-pk Lace Multicolor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J2XZ0C8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_n9aPCbCSSD89B

I found these to be more comfortable than my normal underwear. Being pregnant I was all about comfort. One less thing to worry about. Lol

u/Comfort_Twinkie · 6 pointsr/BabyBumps

My underwear was getting too tight to be comfortable anymore so I broke down and got these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWKDR5X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_1Wok8PlEEakKz

Sooo worth it!

u/squidboots · 6 pointsr/February2018Bumpers

So I got a MaeBand and wore it today with my regular jeans (read: not my fat jeans) for the first time. A++++++ 11/10, will wear again. Makes the bloat much more bearable with the added benefit of not having to resort to fat jeans frump. Trying to wait until after I tell my coworkers before going full-on stretchy pants and leggings as that is not something I really ever wore to work before becoming pregnant.

Also, I discovered that I was able to go to the bathroom without having to unbutton or unzip my jeans...just pull down and pull back up. Let's just call that efficient and not lazy for the sake of appearances.

u/TrashPandaPatronus · 5 pointsr/breastfeeding

I couldn't wear anything the first 6 weeks. A light breeze would make my nipples scream in pain much less a bra or nursing pad. DH and I fought more about the house temperature than the baby those first few weeks (LPT: If you wanna die an early death tell your postpartum wife to just put a shirt on if she's cold.) The leaking was so horrible though. Much trial and error later I have settled on bamboobies and these awesome cheap Amazon bras I love: ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0799H2FF2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_siKZCb417C85C ) I even cut holes in one to turn it into a pumping bra!

u/sea0fL0ve · 4 pointsr/March2018Bumpers

While I have no suggestions on maternity underwear, I did go to Amazon to look for myself and found these which made me laugh. 😂😂

u/Iamzbee · 3 pointsr/JulyBumpers2017

We are a 20 minute drive from the hospital and husband will not leave my side, so I'd like to get everything in. I'm a notorious overpacker, too, but I'd rather have something I don't need than have not have something that I do need.
Mom Stuff:

u/nadia_ny · 3 pointsr/BabyBumps

These have been amazing for me this time around: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LXJKHB2?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title&th=1

95% cotton, super comfy - I normally wear a M or L in VS undies, needed an XL in these (I think I just followed their size chart)

u/aladyfox · 3 pointsr/BabyBumps

i got this recommendation from here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018X7RIB0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it arrived yesterday and I LOVE it. pre-pregnancy I was a small and so I bought a medium - it's definitely comfortable and easy to wear, if a teensy bit snug (was an A cup, went to a B/C). I have a feeling that'll go away once I'm no longer 9 months pregnant, though.

u/strawcat · 3 pointsr/BabyBumps

I have this one and I love it.

u/cakemix_ · 3 pointsr/pregnant

I have these and LOVE them. I did order a size larger than I wore pre-pregnancy.

They are under the bump ones and come in 5-packs and have multiple colors available on Amazon

u/hokoonchi · 3 pointsr/BabyBumps

STM here. Here's what's in my bag:

  • Phone charger.

  • Laptop and laptop charger.

  • Coming home outfit for me (stretchy leggings and a nursing friendly long sleeve top).

  • Target nightgown and robe

  • Lotion and chapstick because hospital air is dry

  • Gentle shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, and face wash because they do not provide their own toiletries

  • Diaper cream (A&D ointment). I slathered this on my son's butt as soon as he was born. It prevents the tar-like meconium from sticking to their little butts.

  • Some of my own NB diapers in case we run out in the room and it's the middle of the night.

  • Earplugs because hospitals are loud AF.

  • Two swaddles for little girl because little newborns usually like to be swaddled. (I have the Woombie and the Kidapotamus my son wore in the hospital.)

  • RTF formula, pacifier, and sterilized bottle. Because my hospital is BFHI, I'm saying fuck you guys, I'm not waiting for formula or signing a waiver if I need it. Planning to breastfeed, but you never know. I also like being a rebel.

  • Coming home outfit (2 NB, 1 0-3 months). I prefer the little button or zipper slippers. Swaddles and sleeper gowns do NOT work in car seats. I also packed a few outfits because my son pissed all over his first coming home outfit, and I needed an alternate.

  • Mittens to prevent their razor sharp nails from meeting their faces (built into two of the NB sleepers).

  • A few pairs of giant granny panties and some of my own pads because I don't love the mesh panties they give you.

  • My own pillow because hospital pillows are basically bricks.

  • My Brest Friend pillow so I don't have to use limp hospital pillows to breastfeed.

  • Nursing bra (a "sleep bra" like this since anything with hard bands and clips will not be welcome after being in labor for a million hours). You could go braless but I have giant tits, so I need something to hold those puppies in.

Yes, I'm an over-packer. But I also know I'll use all these things because I used them before!

I ordered this set from amazon and LOVE them and so cheap!

I had the same issue when I hit about 7ish weeks (? Not that terribly long ago but the details are already getting fuzzy lol) but I didn’t actually start gaining weight until I was into the second trimester, the bloat is real. This kept me in my regular jeans until I was 18 weeks, though a hair tie does about the same thing https://www.amazon.com/Maeband-Large-Midnight-Black/dp/B01MQII0LL

u/quaith · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Elomi Smoothing is the only model I can think of that fits almost all your criteria. Elila has a similar style that starts at a 36 band; but since the major brand review/complaint is their bands run firm, it might work. Freya Pure is a molded nursing bra with flexi-wires that might be worth a try; the Cake Croissant is a similar construction, but both are a bit above your desired price point.

If you're willing to compromise on the molded aspect, the Panache Sophie has amazing support for a wireless. Royce and Cake also offer a plethora of wireless nursing styles.

I'm exactly at the point you are. I'm normally a 36DDD and have heard great things about these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J2BXQCG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apis_1496965063597

u/windbella · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

26 bands are extremely difficult to find and very expensive. I would go for 28 bands.

I’m a 26FF/G (ish, I measured a while ago). I haven’t been wearing bras lately but my two favorites are the Freya deco moulded softcup bra in 28F or FF (for more or less cleavage haha) and the Kindred Bravely French terry nursing bra (it’s just like a really soft sports bra but without a ton of support, very natural looking).

Edit: links

u/Mettephysics · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Busty, nursing mom chiming in. You actually would have more versatility than I do(smaller cup than me: but these two are my favorite:

Soft French Terry Nursing Sleep Bra for Maternity / Breastfeeding (Medium-Busty, Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J27DGMU/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apap_dsQGQXjRbQucz

Royce Lingerie Women's Blossom Candy Stripe Nursing Bra, Pink/Cream, 34G/GG/H https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EV5NOE8/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apap_EBUYKCFqJPnBV

I'm not sure you can get them on amazon.ca but that Royce bra especially is so awesome for changing bust size. If you love it and can't get it I'd be willing to order it on my prime account and ship it to you at cost.

u/arrrrr_won · 2 pointsr/BabyBumps

So holding my belly also relieved a lot of of the same sort of pain, and this belt from amazon has been great for the 14 bucks it cost me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073PBDWKN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The downside is that it does not work as well if you are squatting, getting in and out of a chair, or similar, although I have run in it and it worked well. I tried backsquatting in it, and it rode up to the point of being useless. It was fine if I was just sitting, but I don't really need support now while sitting. I'm 22w and fairly small, so if you're bigger or further along it might stay better.

u/jessekpolsky · 2 pointsr/OctoberBumpers2017

I bought some awesome nursing bras on Amazon!!! I can't wear regular bras due to back pain but I grew out of my sports bras and my SIL suggested these . They are amazing!

u/TeamBroodyElf · 1 pointr/aspergirls

Hey Judo, without sounding like a shill; I would go to r/abrathatfits. They have a nifty calculator that is super helpful in determining your size. I thought I was a 36 C for years...turns out I'm actually a 30F (sister size is 32E). It's honestly amazing how different and how much more comfortable a properly fitted bra is. As far as shopping options go, maybe you could try a traditional bra from Amazon if you like that silhouette? They can definitely be pricy but relatively easy returns. Her Room is good when they have a sale but I've heard returns aren't always easy so ymmv. But if sports bras are the way you wanna go, there is a really good crossover maternity bra on Amazon that you may wanna check out. I'm not pregnant or nursing but I love it because it's super comfy. There is an organic cotton/spandex variant (fits B-G cups). But if that ends up not being in your size range they also have a French Terry variant (fits B-I cups) that comes in a racer back style or a scoop back style. Hope this novella may help and good luck bra shopping!

Maybe someone can correct me if they disagree, but I can't imagine a pack of these not being useful. They are all I wear, but even for someone who prefers a different style outside of the house, these are great for sleeping and stuff. (I don't ever go braless, because I want a bit of cotton to absorb any moisture, and my boobs are so huge now it just feels gross not to wear a bra.)

Intimate Portal Women Under The Bump Maternity Panties Pregnancy Underwear 5-pk Neutral Colors XL https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071NF97H6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jNNpDbY1ST2JE

These are soooo comfy and I have the hugest bump and big thighs. They’re also super low in the front, so I feel like they could be good for c section recovery too.

u/gerderf_unicron · 1 pointr/personalfinance

I hated the normal fabric belly bands that I just stretched over my entire waist. Mine never seemed to stay up and didn't seem to work well. Once I switched to this it was a lot easier to extend the life of my normal pants. https://www.amazon.com/Maeband-Maternity-Belly-Band/dp/B01N9417XA

u/Jenmlot · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I have this pumping attachment that hooks onto my nursing bra. They're not made by the same company so it doesn't actually "snap" on but it stays fine. You can use one side to hold the pump and pull the other side down like you would a normal nursing bra. I've double pumped with it and it works great.

u/sarmurpat6411 · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

I bought this pumping bra thing and I really like it for pumping at work. You wear a nursing bra, then this thing clips into the clips of your bra, so you don't have to change to a pumping bra or take off your shirt. Pretty convenient IMO.

u/oldfashionedblonde · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

Loose tank tops, definitely! I wore men’s T-shirt’s in a size up, nightgowns worked great for me at night. I also used one of these for my non maternity pants: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MQII0LL?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_yo_pop_mb_pd_t2 and it was a godsend until I got too big for my regular pants

u/Alllegra · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

Get these in a size up (they run small). I live in them and got all the colors. I do not recommend the lace trimmed ones as the elastic has started to do that weird thing where it pops out in tiny bits.

This was already suggested, but highly recommend maternity panties like these. I bought a pack when I first got pregnant with my son almost 3 years ago & after I had him, nothing else could compare for the first few weeks postpartum!! I’m having another baby in 2 weeks via CS & have ordered more already. I would highly recommend for post c-section.

Also, another good thing might be some mederma, or some kind of oil for her scar, once it’s healed. My friend gave me this stuff called Bio Oil & it’s greatly improved the appearance of my scar. Other suggestions would be chapstick. I forgot mine at the hospital & my lips got so dry & chapped after surgery.

Have fun, you sound like an awesome friend!! 😊

Someone on reddit recommended these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J2XZ0C8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're great and 100% cotton. Kind of cute? Highly recommend.

u/dirrtybutter · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

I'm looking at the lines you suggested and they look really nice!

This is what I have been wearing because it's just horrible to be so uncomfortable every day.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J2BXQCG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/takes22tango · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

I've been wearing one of these since about 25 weeks with my twins. (there are lots of different brands of basically the same thing). I'm on my second one since I had to size up recently, but it's been a lifesaver. I didn't start getting back pain, and it has kept me almost hip pain free up til 32 weeks (I have a 40+week belly). My only complaints might be that the belly support sometimes squishes my bladder a little more, but I have to pee all the time anyway, so it's really not a big deal.

u/hoovooloo22 · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

Under the bump styles from Motherhood Matetnity are great. I also got these over the bump cartoony ones from Amazon for the giggle factor. I'm a 16 prepregnancy and ordered a 3x (Asian sizing, sigh) and they fit well!

I've been loving this one: http://www.amazon.com/Elomi-Womens-Smoothing-Underwire-Nursing/dp/B00L4AKFNW

It works for pumping too-holds the flanges in place really well.

I just ordered 3 from amazon and returned the ones that didn't fit.
