There's also a book compiling the issues and a bunch of extra material.

If you're a fan of old Archie comics, this is worth a read! It's basically just Archie in space (even down to the boy's name)! There's a nice coffee table style book that I think collects every issue. It's standard Dan DeCarlo stuff, by which I mean it's some of the best art in comics history. I'm a huge fan of his if you can't tell haha!

Sure thing!

u/swissarmychris · 6 pointsr/dishonored

For Dishonored 1, there's a Kindle/eReader version of the Dunwall Archives which is exactly what you're after -- all of the notes/books from the game presented in an in-world style with a bunch of art and stuff.

I don't think there's a similar book for Dishonored 2, but the Art Book (also available as an ebook) has a little bit of lore/background and may whet your appetite a bit.

WWE Vol. 1: Redesign. Rebuild. Reclaim. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WXL7CB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_u-81Ab1ZA588Z

Link to the first trade.

The original run of comics (by Jeremy Sorese and Coleman Engle) ran for 8 issues. They are compiled in these TPBs: Vol 1 Vol 2

There was also a Greg Universe one-shot in the same series (probably my favorite of all the comics). That's available here

The more recent series, Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems, ran for 4 issues. They aren't available in a volume yet, only individual issues. Issue 1 is here, and this is the upcoming paperback.

There's also a standalone graphic novel.

If you're comfortable with digital, you can buy it on Kindle or Comixology: https://www.comixology.com/Adventure-Time-Season-11-2/digital-comic/724032?ref=c2VhcmNoL2luZGV4L2Rlc2t0b3Avc2xpZGVyTGlzdC90b3BSZXN1bHRzU2xpZGVy

The American comic book industry is weirdly preorder-focused, with shops tending to only order the copies they know they'll be able to sell quickly, because there's a big risk of lost revenue if they buy too many copies of an unpopular comic and they get stuck with them. I believe if you talk to the people at your local shop, you can set up a personal "pull list" for ongoing series, and they'll set aside a copy for you when each issue comes out. It's a pretty outdated process but that's just how the industry works.

I don't think Amazon keeps up to date with weekly/monthly print comics. Their focus is on the digital Kindle/Comixology versions.

Looking at the Boom Studios site, I see they have an alternate cover variant for issue #2: https://shop.boom-studios.com/comics/detail/9069/adventure-time-season-11-2-rebelka-cover

And searching the site I can see they have preorders up for issues 3 and 4 in both standard and alternate covers. So they seem to be focusing on a preorder model as well. Nobody wants to risk losing money in comics, it's kind of a tough industry.

Graphic novels:

  • Assassin's Creed Subject Four - It combines the 2 graphic novels "The Fall" and "The Chain" in one and is basically the prequel to the present day story in the games. It's the oldest comic and quite hard to find a physical edition nowadays. If you can't find it, look for "The Fall" and "The Chain" seperately.

  • Assassin's Creed Brahman - A comic from 2013 and quite hard to find physically, similarly to Subject 4.

There are also newer comics published by Titan:

  • Assassin's Creed - Has 14 issues, split in 3 volumes.

Vol. 1 - "Trial By Fire"

    Vol. 2 - "Setting Sun"

    Vol. 3 - Homecoming

  • Assassin's Creed: Templars - 9 issues, split in two volumes.

    Vol. 1 - "Black Cross"

Vol. 2 - "Cross of War"

  • Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants – Locus - A standalone miniseries, but it takes place between the first and second "Last Descendants" novel. It features some familiar characters from Syndicate, but it's only worth the read if you're reading the novels it's named after.

  • Assassin's Creed Uprising - the final major arc from the comics. "Assassin's Creed" and "Templars" must be read first, read "Uprising" after that as it continues the stories and features characters from both previously mentioned series. It finishes a major present day storyline from the games, so it's definitely worth the read despite the issues of the format it's presented in. Has 12 issues, collected in 3 volumes.

    Vol. 1 - "Common Ground"

    Vol. 2 - "Inflection Point"

    Vol. 3 - "Finale"

  • Assassin's Creed: Reflections - standalone mini-series, portraying a short adventure for each of the following assassins: Altair, Ezio, Connor and Edward. Should be read after "Assassin's Creed" and "Templars", but before "Uprising", but it doesn't really matter for the overall plot. It's more of a fun little adventures for each of these beloved characters and has an interesting reveal or two in there, but nothing major.

  • Assassin's Creed Origins - another standalone mini-series. It's 4 issues follow the story of Aya after the events in the game Origins, so you should definitely finish it first before you read this one.

And finally - Assassin's Creed Conspiracies. Originally a two-part comic in French, it has now been translated to English. Collected edition should be out on December 18th, 2018.

Well slap my ass and call me Shirley!

u/BloShieetUp · 2 pointsr/LittleNightmares

The publisher is Titan Comics, and in their site there are both options, physical and digital. They will be releasing starting next month.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this. It appears to be all the issues in one single book from the number of pages. I can only find it in amazon.es though.

Little Donny Trump Needs A nap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y2HQ5M3/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_tai_sMdWAbHZ1224Q #Amazon

Kindle version. There is also paperback

Original Mirage volume 1 of course. Get the Ultimate Collections. Every single one of them. Brilliant stuff.

the new Eastman/Waltz run on IDW is okay, not great, though. The micro series and various miniseries (Secret History of the Foot, Utrom Empire, Turtles in Time) related to it have been extremely good, though.

Also, Tales of the TMNT volume 2, published by Mirage by various writers and artists, is something any TMNT fan can greatly appreciate. IDW is starting to publish them in collected but I don't know how far they'll go. Also, they've collected the volume 1 Tales which is cool, too. It's the first two volumes of the Tales trades.

Make sure you pick up the Dave Stevens comics. The movis is good, the comics are better,

Digital:

u/pleximind · 1 pointr/mylittlepony

The comics are available from IDW, Amazon, or eBay for physical copies, and Comixology, iTunes, and Amazon Kindle for digital copies.

There are actually several comic series: Friendship is Magic is the "main" one, Friends Forever focuses on putting two characters together and having them do stuff (Spike & Celestia, Shining & Blueblood, etc), and the (now-ended) Micro Series just showcases one character at a time.

u/aizeek · 1 pointr/litrpg

Way of the Shaman is being published as comic book currently

My Little Pony ahhhhh ahhh ahhh. I love cheap!

u/BockerKnocker · 1 pointr/gijoe

What's been great is my two boys are getting into these comics, and they hold up well.

You can buy various collections of comics (like this https://www.amazon.com/G-I-Joe-Classics-Vol-1-ebook/dp/B00939OLRC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1509720049&sr=8-1&keywords=classic+gi+joe+vol+1) and they're pretty good for kids. Now, you don't get the original advertisements, but still. They're very readable this way. (We have paper, not Kindle versions)

Fun fact: the scripts for the Gary 7 series were written. When the show didn't get the green light they were turned into comic books. They're pretty interesting: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Assignment-Earth-IDW/dp/1600102913

I got them as part of the star trek comic book humble bundle and I was pleasantly surprised.
