I take Garden of Life's Women's multi because I have the same problem with a lot of multivitamins. I've found these incredibly gentle on my stomach. On rushed days, I've taken them well before I have time to sit down and eat. They're expensive, but I really like them.

For GNC Mega Men's ingredients:
http://www.gnc.com/GNC-Mega-Men-Sport-Vanilla-Bean/product.jsp?productId=4021740
The main reason it was originally chosen and why so many people still like to use it, is because it's one of the only powdered daily multivitamins (multi) around. There are a few extra minor ingredients in it other than just a multi-, but nothing you can't/dont' get elsewhere. It is a bit costly, tho, at over $1 a day.

/u/axcho of CustomBodyFuel.com/Schmoylent has found a couple different multi capsules he likes to use, by breaking apart the capsule to get the powder out:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B4IKQPG
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VVR6WK

Other than that, a lot of people just substitute a regular daily multi tablet/pill for it and crush it up, like Centrum or One-A-Day or whatever, and then the cost is down to 3-4 cents a day (just for the multi).

What country are you in, maybe somebody will have some suggestions?

Benefits? I went from almost falling asleep during the day to bursting out of bed in the morning to still having energy into the evening. Although ZMA (Zinc, Magnesium, B6) has improved my sleep quality 1000% which helps a lot, but I just started taking it regularly recently.

My current daily stack is:

Have you tried melatonin before? I didn't always find it strong enough to help, but I found some melatonin gummies that for whatever reason seem to effect me more - maybe those would help. Linked the one I tried.

Edit to add: The dosage says to take two gummies, and I found that so strong that one gummy is normally actually sufficient. So maybe two would work for you. Also my understanding is that melatonin is pretty safe, so you could probably take an extra one (or two???) to up the strength a little if needed.

yea its disgusting man, I used mine in OJ but its still disgusting. I can't eat pickles anymore because they remind me of the kratom taste for some reason.

You can buy capsules and fill them with the powder yourself, and capsules by themselves cost nothing. The 000s on average fit about .8-1.2g of kratom IME, but all kratom will be slightly different density.

So, I've been taking my prenatals for a few weeks now (these) and I just realized that the vitamin I was taking (these) had 420mcg folate (110% DV), as well as some magnesium and calcium. Although the prentals do have more folate (800mcg, 200% DV), they don't have the magnesium and calcium. But they do have 100% DV of iron, which I've never had a deficiency in but I can see how growing a human can lower that. Does anyone have any insight to why they might have taken out the magnesium & calcium? I thought magnesium and calcium were good for pregnancy? Would it be bad to take an additional mag/cal supplement? Or even switch back to my regular vitamin and take a low-dose iron supplement?

u/mr_bacon_pants · 3 pointsr/Supplements

Crystal Energy looks like bullshit.

u/Captain_Midnight · 2 pointsr/keto

This one?

Looks like a negligible amount of potassium, 50mg of magnesium oxide which is a laxative, calcium which competes with magnesium for absorption, and it sounds like you're not getting enough sodium.

Get lite salt from the grocery store, measure out 500mg of actual potassium with a gram scale, stir into a glass of cold water, and chug it down. Do that three times a day. Don't take all 1500mg at once.

That multi is a kitchen sink. I'm leery of it. I'd stop taking it for a few days and see what happens.

u/Drakkanrider · 2 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Yessss, they're my favorite ones to take every day too because they're so delicious. Vitafusion is my favorite brand for the tastiness and consistency of their gummies in general. I haven't been able to find a good iron gummy, so I just take normal pills for those though.

u/return2ozma · 2 pointsr/Vegetarianism

I've been taking these for over a year and I've noticed a significant improvement in energy, clarity, and overall wellness...
Opti-Men, Mens Daily Multivitamin Supplement

Additionally, daily, I take biotin, ginkgo biloba, vitamin D3, and B-12.

I bought this stuff from Amazon a few years ago and it made my erections like I was 16 again. The one downside is if i drank alcohol it made my stomach hurt incredibly bad. Couldn’t figure out why until I stopped drinking this stuff then the pain went away when I drank booze. If I didn’t drink alcohol I didn’t really see any negative affects.

I would usually just mix a scoop of it with water every morning before work.

Thank you for posting this, I've been freaking out over how much hair I'm shedding. I did some research and ordered black seed oil. Look up black seed oil and hair loss.
Link to research: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4387228/

It seems promising. This is the one I got.
https://theblessedseed.com/shop/strong-black-seed-oil-100ml-bottle/

I also ordered He Sho Wu, a Chinese herb that has long been used for hair growth and delaying process of going gray.

This is the one I got this time: https://www.activeherb.com/shouwu/

This is the He Sho Wu I used to buy for my morning smoothie:

Good luck! You are not alone.

Just grab a keto supplement. You are low in some vitamin or electrolyte that the carb is giving you.
I take this for example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WDBPM0M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So, how did you go about deciding which probiotic to use? I'm thinking about this one:

As someone I respect takes it.

u/rdsf138 · 2 pointsr/vegan

There are awesome tips about recipes here so my tip here will be about practicality. If you are a "healthy" and is going full on a WFPB diet then this would not be a good advice for you but if you're just a normal person who eats normally and don't want to worry about nutrients and this kind of stuff just buy a vegan multivitamin it's super cheap.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XRY19HW/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=vegfaqs-20&linkId=0f171e50fdf3e3b1bafc846bc7388add&language=en_US

All the people that I know that failed at being vegan they failed because when they stopped eating animal foods they drastically reduced their food intake and they really didn't like what their daily food routine had become. So you should eat like a normal person and enjoy your food, look for new things vegetables, fruits, cookies, spreads, vegan substitutes that you like and that you can incorporate in your daily routine.

If your market has fortified plant-based alternatives you should add then into your routine, they're extremely nutritious and cover a lot of nutrients.

PS.:The multivitamin doesn't have omega-3 you should incorporate ground flex seeds or chia seeds in your diet or look for foods fortified with omega-3. But if really don't want to do that then you can just buy a vegan omega-3 supplement

I was also suspicious that I wasn’t ovulating. I bought some cheap test strips on amazon like these: Ovulation Test Kit HCG15-LH40, 15 Pregnancy Test Strips & 40 Ovulation Test Strips with 55 Urine Cups Reliable & Quick Early Pregnancy Test https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M6QJ179/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vce4CbFVE4577

It’s a pain in the ass to test daily, but you basically use them once a day right when you wake up. I keep a notebook, tape, and pen right by the toilet, and taped each finished test to the paper in order and jotted down the date and time.

After a full cycle of doing that, I learned that I didn’t ovulate (at least for that cycle), so I read up on natural ways to sort of force your body to ovulate.

I ended up using soy isoflavones, like these: Puritans Pride Non-GMO Soy Isoflavones 750 Mg Rapid Release Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004R66DNQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6ee4Cb4EMQXRP

Ovulated the very next cycle, and was pregnant within a couple months. I think I could even feel myself ovulate, like it made it’s stronger. The slightest twinge on one side.

It’s definitely not an exact science, but it worked for me. Good luck to you!!

u/even_so · 2 pointsr/occult

Quirky? Like they're irregularly shaped? Soy isoflavones can increase breast size/density, here's the product on Amazon. Combine with other herbs/seeds/foods such as saw palmetto and fenugreek. Look up what shrinks breasts as well, so she can avoid that.

Thank you! this one right?

u/wong__a · 1 pointr/AsianBeauty

I have medium-long, average thickness hair with an oily scalp. And I'm also losing hair and occasionally get dandruff. My ponytail used to be a quarter thickness, and now it is closer to a nickel :'( I've bleached my hair before (though I haven't in the last 1.5 years) and I think my hair loss is greatly due to bleaching and not hormone stress, or diet related

Every morning I take hair vitamins (My walgreens was selling them for 9.99) and they've made the biggest difference for me. I noticed my nails no longer break and my hair fallout during my showers are significantly less

I also use daeng gi meo ri ki gold premium shampoo and their conditioner. They have been pretty gentle on my hair and it makes my scalp less oily. I wash every other day

After every wash, I use It's a 10 leave in conditioner

Once a week I use Nature Republic argan hair pack/mask, Skinfood Hair tonic and scalp mask. I have no idea if the hair tonic or scalp mask is helping my hair, but I do like the feeling of the scalp mask.

edit: I kind of want to try innisfree mint green tea shampoo line because I've also heard peppermint helps with hair loss

+1 to to all the people saying Nuun - it's been my go-to for events 12-36 hours. Careful which version you get, thought. If you sweat a lot, you want the "Nuun Active" - it has about 400mg of sodium per tablet, which is my summer sweat rate.

I buy them bulk on Amazon

u/sobriquetstain · 1 pointr/Epilepsy

I like the nuun tablets- the ones suggested, when we do use them (not all the time). Mostly for convenience (little container of them to drop down in my water bottle, decent flavors/variety). I have to order them because our local CVS and Walgreens do not carry them...our Whole Foods does sometimes but they are really pricy over there.

Also I use Emergen-C, they have one that is an electrolyte "boost" variety or whatever. These are at most any pharmacy and walmart, prefer the pomegranate or raspberry to the tangerine flavors.

edit: also random that is not a drink- switching to the "lite salt" b/c it has potassium in it (it's a blend of salt and potassium chloride)

u/SkinSuitNumber37 · 1 pointr/Supplements

This vitamin in particular has a full ingredient list and all the vitamins come from food. So, for example, Vitamin C comes from food, not ascorbic acid.

  • For Potassium I use a powder and Lite Salt (320mg potassium per serving of lite salt).
  • For magnesium, I also use a powder and eat at least 3 servings of fish a week.
  • For Sodium, I generally just over salt my foods with the Lite Salt mixture as well as drink 2 glasses of Beef Broth (from the cubes) a day.

With those I generally hit my goals for my "electrolytes". I am probably missing a few key items but if those 3 main ones are out of whack for me, I feel like crap. Right now I am trying to get 3000mg+ of potassium a day and around 5000mg+ of sodium, even more if I am running.

There are also electrolyte powders you can buy, I have not tried any of them so you would have to look at the label to check.

    Added Info

Remember to keep your sodium intake up! When you are doing Keto, most of the "society accepted rules" do not apply as far as food guidelines. You lose a ton of sodium especially when you work out vs someone on a high carb diet. So if you are not already, I would start with the Beef (or chicken) broth. At least 1 cup a day if not 2.

    More Info

I forgot that I also take a daily vitamin that has other forms of electrolytes in it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K89SLS6 is the current Vitamin I take and seems to work well. I usually take 1 pill vs the recommended 3 most days. But some days I take 2-3 pills if I feel like I need something extra in my body.
u/Deadweightdanger_ · 1 pointr/keto

I was looking into magnesium and the copper you were talking about. I was thinking to possibly take a multi vitamin. Could you give your opinion on this one?

u/mattadam · 1 pointr/AskDocs
u/OutSourcingJesus · 1 pointr/ketochow

I had some initial gassy stomach issues and they cleared up when I used probiotics.

This is the brand that worked for me. I'm sure mileage may vary though.

u/Yokuo · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I wish I had 1000 stacks of $1000 each. That counts, right? :p

I need more vitamins and those are under $10. I would also take a thing of 1000 of those, come to think of it!

u/boundfortrees · 1 pointr/Hypothyroidism

I take these vitamin supplements

http://www.amazon.com/Vitafusion-Mens-Gummy-Vitamins-Count/dp/B007L0DONW (I get them at Target)

They have vitamin D, B6, and some iodine. Not in huge doses, because large doses of vitamins are not good for you, but, for me, the right amount. Also, people with an unhealthy thyroid should avoid overdosing on iodine.

u/psi_overtake · 1 pointr/keto

I take Kirkland Daily Multi as my biggest one, as well as some potassium citrate and calcium/magnesium.

If you're looking for a local multi, Wal-Mart's Equate Complete Multivitamin (Women 50+) is pretty close.

u/GrrrArrgh · 1 pointr/Parenting

Check out this one: Vitamin Friends Iron Diet Supplement, 60 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005CC3X2I

If that one doesn't work for you, keep browsing, I'm sure you'll find what you need.

u/GanonFodder · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

So I want/desire (neeeeeeeed) this tea cup!

HOWEVER,
I actually need these multivitamins. :P

Where's the aspirin? (Did you know aspirin was a trademark, but bayer lost the trademark after wwii as part of the treaty? The more you know!)

Thanks for the contest!

> Yes, it might be crazy. But it's not BAD.

It is bad. A person that sees as "not BAD" having complete trust (as in "being certain of") in something without evidence, might see as "not BAD" having complete trust in anything.

Let me explain. The mind is something that has to be trained to reason. Let's say I grow up having as constant the fact that certain things "just are", I am 100% certain of it, I cannot be wrong about those things.. it is faith. There is no problem here, however now my brain is ok with the fact that certain things just are and I must accept them as truth, no evidence-based reasoning needed.

Let's not talk about "acts of small factions of religious groups" like crusades, witch hunts, persecution of various kind going on even today, .. (all situations in which people of faith feel superior, just, righteous, and entitled to do whatever).

Let's say that tomorrow, somebody tries to sell me things like "Crystal Energy" (I cannot believe this is real, hah!)

> Crystal Energy is the first product Dr. Patrick Flanagan invented after studying Hunza water. It consists of billions of spherical nanoparticles of silica that have the highest zeta potential ever measured. When added to water Crystal Energy instantly turns water into a liquid crystal and more closely matches water surrounding the cells in the body.

I am used to believe in things without caring for evidence, I am not "closed minded".. see where I am going?

Religions are the most obvious example of this problem, just look at all the stupid things people did and does in the name of their faith... and let's hope religion will never gain power in the future.

For those who are curious, these are the B complex I take and the daily multi I take. These two bottles will last you like two years.
