For parking properly in the garage. You park your cars properly, then aim a laser at the center of your dash. Next time, line the dot up at the center of your dash, and you're parked properly. Kinda like the old ball hanging from the ceiling.

Did not realize model S is almost the same length as honda odyssey. Got this block installed and it give good tatile feedback. Might need to invest in some foams

Get yourself one of these. $25 and a < 5 minute setup will solve that problem for you.
Rather than the tennis ball trick I use a celling-mounted laser parking assist. Just pull your truck to the exact spot you need it, adjust the laser to a reference spot (spot on dash, etc) and you're good to go. They're motion activated so when you pull in the laser turns on for about 20 seconds, and the other benefit is you don't have a tennis ball hanging from a string waiting to bop you in the face if you're walking through your garage and not paying attention.
