If they are all about document size or smaller, you can buy an archival document box on amazon like this : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003HAAJPQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They also come in other sizes. Just make sure it's archival. Then I would buy some buffered archival tissue and put a sheet in between each document in the box: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DPVJ1I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The photos may not need the buffered paper, but definitely for anything else. But I'd just use the buffered paper on photos too, it'd fine for them, just not necessary.
As for labeling, I'm always torn on how to do that too. I lean towards marking the item with something removable. I'd probably mark the back in pencil. That way it's on the object but is not permanent. If you want to permanently mark something, just a use pen with archival ink. They should be easy to find.
you actually can
how about this wifi cloud digital picture frame?. All of your family members can send photos to it at any time via their phone or computer.
They make sleeves that hold 6 strips of 6. I just rewind after taking 36 shots so I don't have to fuck with leftovers.

Art boxes are usually around 3 or 4 inches. In my own experience, I haven't enjoyed things under the bed: either it just spread the clutter to under the bed, or if the things in it actually brought me joy, under the bed was the least convenient place for them. I use art boxes with holes cut on the back on top of dressers to hide networking equipment and personal electronics/chargers. As such, I matched the box to the dresser. Underneath, I might go with clear so it would be easier to tell what's in there with multiple boxes.

The Kodak Pulse line of frames are Wi-Fi equipped and come with an email address you can just send the picture to. The frame will periodically check the Kodak servers for new pictures and download them on its own. This way you can update his frame from wherever you are.
The smaller one is about $100, but you can get them used cheaper if that's ok.
Kodak makes a digital picture frame that gets an email address. Give the email address to your guests, have them email the pics to the address... profit?

I also found one that looks pretty tall but I can’t find the link atm on my phone.
I am researching my options, there are also cheaper options like putting moisture absorber in air tight containers, and you put moisture gauge to monitor it yourself.
I thought i'd share what I just came up with.
I am moving to Germany at the end of the month for about two years, and I will be doing a LOT of traveling during this time. To preserve memories and share my experiences I decided to upgrade and change around my camera bag. I sold my d3300 and lenses and wanted a setup for something portable and not cumbersome that I can take in any situation without being annoying.
My activities I want to capture:
Here is what I put together:
Grand total: $1377
You can prob get the gopro plate for less but this one moves it the furthest away forward from the gimbal so it's less likely to get in the shot when shooting in superview or whatever gopro calls it these days.
Also you can get a mkIV or higher as some have stated here if you want to shoot in 4k gimbal stablilized with all three cameras (s8 or equivalent phone included)
I know i'm going to get flamed because it's not a sony mirrorless for what I paid, but for me being able to have all of these on me at any time is really helpful. Also you don't always have to carry anything but the gimbal and your cellphone in order to capture good video, which you will always have on you.
Also I was hesitant to save the money on the Boya Mic over the RODE but the sound quality from it is very good.
And one last note, I got the mkIII because I will be using the rx100 90% of the time for stills and very rarely for video. Really the only video with the rx100 will be low light and night video because of the large image sensor for it's form factor.
I've gone wild on my desk ever since I got it a couple months ago. It's absolutely laden with Star Wars funko pops, pez dispensers, Kingdom Hearts toys... but my favorite thing on it by far is a digital photo frame. It's so fantastic and I really can't recommend it highly enough. It always brightens up my workday to look over and see pictures of my dogs, past vacations, and loved ones.
Went with this, cheap and cheerful. Is getting the job done so far:

If you're looking to preserve your negatives properly, you'll be better off with an archive box and negative sleeves.
You didn't mention film size, so I'm going to assume they're 35mm. I recommend this archive box with these sleeves.
One option: buy a blank album and the triangles separately.
E.g.

Sticker photo corners are something really easy and inexpensive to do before hand. I bought these and in the end my book will look something like this.
Just a note though- get a book that's spiral bound or post bound if you are planning for a lot of photo pages. If you don't you'll end up with a book that won't close flat.
Book - $11
Razor - $28
Brush - $7
Aftershave - $6
Soap - $7
Blades - $13 /100
Alum - $6
Box - $8
That is the setup OP has except a generally more popular aftershave scent, a different brush, and a block of alum that I find a little easier to use.
This is about $75 per person.
Edit: Personally I would probably go with /u/papander 's suggestion of Maggards. It is not what OP did, but Maggard's is a top notch retailer with really good product. For even less hassle just grab as many starter kits as you like, and add aftershave from walmart. You can't go wrong with any selection on the drop down lists as Maggards does not sell junk.
I worked for a guy that has done electronic design for decades and loved his system. He used boxes like these, but long and narrow, with dividers. He labeled each box A, B, etc. Each divider had a sub index.

He combined that system with a basic inventory software (he and his son wrote it, but I'm sure there are things available in OSS-land). He stored name, MFG #, vendor #, component type, value, quantity etc and made it all searchable. When he had a new part it could go (in it's original packaging) in any box with open space, you need only add it to the inventory system. Some extra IC-safe bags and sorts help with odd shaped packages -- like IC tubes.

I would build boards for him (design, manufacture on a CNC board miller) and it took about no time at all to find parts and build things. I love this system because it requires zero memory and is a direct lookup to where the part is in storage.
Is this similar to what you are looking for? Try searching for "9x12 plastic sleeve" instead of bag. Or you can use a portfolio as well. I hope this helps! You can also use a fixative to spray onto your work to prevent damage when handling.
I use this, and it work very well:
http://www.artprofolio.com/Art_profolio.htm
I use the 9x12 size
You can also get it at Amazon:

I used to have a small art portfolio book which has plastic sleeves, (example)
Now I use the BTS Wings Tour Ticket Album which is a little binder with plastic sleeves (supposed to be for tickets but most pcs fit also). You could try checking if any of your bias groups have that because I've seen ones for other groups. I like that I can store my PCs in official merch!
For those prices you could get:
EDIT: B&H has a whole page of these devices.
What were you using to charge up the batteries while in the wilderness? Ive been using a Sanho Colorspace UDMA and its been a lifesaver when I am going through that many GB's without a computer nearby. There is an updated V2 but i havent seen the need to upgrade.
Yeah i too collecting loose GB/C and Game Gear carts (GBA/PSP and occasional DS MUST be at least CIB). But after years of collecting you still end up with dozens of manuals from random lots and trades. I have manuals to some great games so I def want to capitalize on that. Your Binder idea is something that crossed my mind, but I have not come across any pocketed sheets that would fit the Gameboy sized manuals nicely... would be great though!
This may be another option, I use these for my Shepard Fairey Obey sticker collection and they're pretty high quality: https://www.amazon.com/Itoya-Profolio-Storage-Display-Book/dp/B0000AUR24/
I still petition you group your GBA with the DS =P
but either way that sounds like it'll be a fantastic looking shelf. Can't wait to see it!
Yeah doesn't this guys know he should get this for his cards.
Huge email today. Came from the address [email protected] . Have fun;

Why not just use a 4x6 portfolio? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Itoya-Profolio-Storage-Display-Book/dp/B0000AUR24/
You could try putting them in a picture album. A 5x7 album should work

Try one of these
