I have the figure and I think it looks great. As for her expression Elsa looked meaner in the movie when she was fighting the Duke of Weselton's guards. I wouldn't worry about it.

If you're still worried about the expression maybe you could get him Anna instead.

If you want to be frugal then the 8-pack includes two traps that comes with the starter kit. So instead you could look into buying the two three-packs for $15 each, which will net you all 8 traps (assuming you have those from the starter kit, of course) and save yourself $10. :)

The dragon fly was a magic item that you can't control, in my short search I couldn't find him loose on Amazon.

Ok my all time favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the the Beast. I mean come on Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise - who wouldn't love it? I am a huge sucker for a weird girl and a romance story.

As far as songs go it's a hard choice to only pick one. I love Kiss the Girl and Part of your World from Little Mermaid. hakuna matata from Lion King. A Whole new World from Aladdin. There's something about Angela Lansbury singing Beauty and the Beast that always brings a tear to my eye. But If I have to pick just one I will go with this one It always makes me instantly happy when I hear it. I sing it and do all the different voices and parts.

I love Disney. My room growing up was covered in Disney figures (not toys you couldn't play with them, they were collector items) If you came in my room and moved one of them even a centimeter I would instantly know. Ahhh good times.

Running late on the weekly deals at the moment because I'm working on a script to help me do them (yes, I've been doing them manually for the past year), but as a sneak peek, the best deals I've got on Violet are $13.53 at Amazon and $14.99 at Gamestop.

The Amazon deal is listed as new (but not originally stocked by Amazon, just fulfilled by them), while the Gamestop deal is preowned only.

Based on my experience with doing the weekly deals for a year now, I would say they are absolutely not manufacturing new 1.0 and 2.0 figures still. Many vendors, like Best Buy and Walmart, are almost entirely out of stock on 1.0 figures, and it's starting to happen with 2.0 figures, too.

Do you really need the D23 version? Amazon has it for $10.99.

In game there is no difference between the two; the D23 however has silver painted stars while the retail version has faded white stars on the hat.
