and set up a pretty cheap fpv. If your flying los you should really disable the on board vtx so you don't have to keep buying antennas when you crash since your not using them. It has to have an antenna on it or it will fry the vtx.
Here I'll get you the part list you want. Should cost around 300-350 dollars. Wait you have a pixhawk? That's a very good controller, you'll be great with that but you have to learn how to use the ardupilot ground station. Your best bet is to build a helicopter and you're not going to have much luck getting a good gimbal to hold a large camera, a good idea is to get a GoPro gimbal and use fpv with that, or get a 250$ moy alexmos 3 axis gimbal on eBay.

Also stuff like Jumper T8SG. If you can find some local meetup or anything and want to go check it out you can scope out transmitters people have and ask to hold one just to judge size. I wouldn't find such a question unreasonable. Really any transmitter is really going to work.. its mostly about size, and maybe getting support for access to minimize latency.

Looks like you've got plenty of options, but I personally use these. Yeah, it's not a TBS Unify, and no, it doesn't do 600mW, but for the price, I haven't had any issues with them. Plus, I seem to break antennas the most, so accidentally frying one of these isn't a problem.
