How about this for a compromise. Tell her that you’ve got to be able to clean the house and not have her clutter everywhere. Buy a serving tray or puzzle case as linked. This way, when she’s working on stuff around the house she does it on the tray. If she leaves it laying around and she’s not home you can just pick the tray up and put it in her room?

Clearly, they sent you the wrong thing; that's some sort of decorative tray.

Amazon is pretty nice about returns; no hassle at all.

Edit: It looks like what they sent you is a "Godinger 11 in. x 16 in. Rectangular Tray" which is a silver-plated serving tray.

Just bought basically the same ones and added tray tables with cupholders.

They are quite sturdy. I don't think they are really FOR LIFE per say, but they are of good quality and I would expect them to last quite a few seasons, especially if they are brought inside or stored in a shed/garage.

I highly recommend them. I have enjoyed quite a few cigars and whiskeys in those chairs.

Definitely not stingray leather lol. It’s this tray from Amazon in the color “Natural/Ivory”. It’s surprisingly heavy and the quality is really nice - especially for $20!

I got these not too long ago. The legs are kind of a bitch to put on, but I think they all are like that. Once it is all snapped together, it stays together pretty well.

A weird local store was selling it. The brand is Abbott and I found a collection of them on Amazon for you!

Sure thing, my BBQ friend, though I can't fully recommend them until I try them out. I did see several reviewers said they used it for the same purpose with good results.

Step one, buy these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009NVCM4E/

Step two, jack each wheel and place two under each wheel.

Step three, oil the path out to the road with a cooking oil.

Step four, push car into the middle of the road and leave it there.

No need to spend a lot. This is what we use.

Now that is something very close to the depth of my shelves, thanks!

As far as formatting a shorter link, put the link in parenthesis and put the text you want to take place of the link in brackets just before the link [Looks something like this](website link)

Here's your Amazon link

yaay! Thank yoou! I did it!

sorry about the long link.. I don't know how to make it look nicer. Haha.

I use a upside down bamboo tray. It holds a big one spot underneath just fine. A spade bit makes holes for ventilation and wires. board

u/BabygirlMcGee · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

Went to a wedding where my party had to stand for the entire reception because there wasn't enough seating. We at least had a high top table to use or I probably would've left.

I would just make sure there's lots of flat surfaces around. Even if you have to get a few fold out tables like these:

https://www.amazon.com/Casual-Home-660-41-Set-White-Table/dp/B07MMSTPSP/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?keywords=tv+tables&qid=1564031425&s=gateway&sr=8-9

They'd be easy to decorate with a pretty candle, and they would fold up easy when you're done. And some stools lined against the wall will at least give people a chance to rest their plates on their laps.

Does heavy duty foil stand up to a torch? The stuff I've got melted when I tried it, but I don't remember if it was heavy duty or not.
If I were really comitted to bringing the torch, I think I'd go with one of these bad boys.

Thank you for specifying multiple items! I couldn't pick.

  1. I want an attractive bar server. Something like this I love my wine and liquor. I have to wait until my kids are all old enough that I don't have to cringe whenever they're near it, though.

  2. A stationary bike. I'm paying $300 a year for a gym membership just to ride stationary bikes. Why not buy my own and cancel the membership? We'd save money long-term. High impact exercises are a problem for me because of repeated injuries to the same ankle. Bikes are my way to burn lots of calories in a short amount of time still.

  3. A nice bird bath for my front yard.

  4. This appetizers on ice thing. This would really come in handy for parties I've thrown!

  5. An awesome popcorn popper. I love popcorn but I have absolutely demolished every other popper I've had...they just don't hold up to once-a-day or even a few-times-a-week use for at least a year. So, if anyone has any other very durable suggestions, let me know!

I am a large man so I use a Living XL Extra-Wide Zero Gravity Chair. The comfort is extraordinary. The zero gravity recline at full extension puts my body in the same position as it is when floating in water. There are locks on both sides to hold ant position in between though. The chair is very well made and the max weight of the chair is listed at 500 stationary pounds. The only problem I have ever had out of it was if I set it up on a solid surface like concrete one of the plastic feet would pop off so that thing had to get epoxied into place. The chair came with a koozie holder but I set up with a Prime Products 13-9003 Utility Tray on the side for the beer holders and tray so I have a place for my phone and other things.

Definitely don't use your good trays. I bought them specifically to use as cutting boards / food prep trays instead of buying a cutting board.

This is the one I bought. You can get them cheap.

I use this one.

I like it because it's big and has plenty of spots for different items but everyone calls it a prison tray so yeah, not beautiful. But this one is a little more attractive...

I'm making a pie with two different flavors. They sell split decision pie pans for this purpose, but it's easiest to just fold a piece of aluminum foil and put it in the middle.

SeriousEats has the most consistent and easiest pie dough. Storebought dough also works.

To make each filling, I simmer the ingredients for about 5-10 minutes and then let cool before filling the pie. Fillings are basically fruit, flavoring, and thickener.

Blueberry:

  • 3 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • cinnamon

    Cranberry

  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • orange zest
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch

I needed a tray, like a Kind Tray, but for my specific stuff, and we mostly vape flowers and are MFLB users. Kind trays are pricey, but very nice. If you find one that suits you perfect, great. But for me, I had to make something.

So, there are a number of ways to get creative here.

But, I got the Seville Classics Bamboo Drawer Organizer Boxes for like $22.

To hold it all, I got the Lipper International Bamboo Solid Tray, which seems currently unavailable but there are dozens of alternate options. My tray cost $35. Just make sure to check the dimensions on your bottom tray.

Pick up some rubber drawer liners at Lowe's or Wally world or something. I used flat, solid ones inside my smaller boxes and the perforated sort for the bottom of the large tray. It looks pretty nice.
You have to get the thin Scotch double sided tape to adhere your cut drawer liners in there.

If you have an Orbiter -- and trust me, you should have! -- then you can leave the Orb in its box as shown when vaping, and just move the box around if necessary; this has turned out to be a great feature because since we started doing this, we have had zero Orb water spills! The box holds things fairly well.

Anyway, I set this up last week and after one week, I'm still happy with it and everyone thinks it's quite impressive. Hope it inspires someone else!

You could use a pan like this and go halfsies? Or you could use any oven-safe divided baking dish. I would just suggest a no-bake creme brulee recipe if you go that route.

I personally would be terrified of a crust ramekin holding up in the oven.

HOW. ARE THESE PEOPLE. STILL IN BUSINESS?!

Also, I found a great product to go with that. BEHOLD. Because I need to stick something in my cupholder, so I can hold my cup.

u/meow_meow_kitty_fuck · 1 pointr/hamstercare

I found something in a Facebook group now but I'm still eh about what I'm finding.
I'm Looking for what is used for their soft and comfy bedding. I was told the natural kaytee litter is used but that doesn't seem too natural, and I don't like white litter lol. Then I had read reptile miss can be used. What do you suggest as the best?
Also, I know stuff should be on stilts, so maybe something like the link I put at the bottom to place stuff on top of? If you have links to good product websites please share.
No hamster yet, but it will be Teddy and I am working with 150 gallon fish tank.

In that link I mentioned in my OP he mentions these sizzle pans. I thought they were normally cast iron like you'd get with your typical fajita order. Cast Iron would retain the heat much better in between rotating the pans in and out. I wonder if thats part of the magic?
