Just did this. So worth it.

Bought this case and it worked like a charm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGTH4L2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rKBiDbB5QDEBD

When you plug your HomePod in at a new location it should automatically update its Wi-Fi based on your phones wifi credentials. I say should because it sometimes takes a little while. Just get your phone on Wi-Fi, plug in the HomePod and leave it be for about 15 minutes.

I use weather, news, music and timers on my HomePod constantly, so it was nice to be able to keep using those features when away from home.

This case on Amazon is only $11, on prime, and fits Joules almost perfectly after removing the dividers

It depends. They make grilles for specific series from a brand(like rockford "punch" woofers might be different than "power" woofers). And they make "universal" grilles.

Universal grilles are usually just three metal bars that screw into the actual enclosure, or the waffle style. But even these aren't one size fits all, or may not fit at all.

Yeah I'll definitely do that, after a bunch of searching I was able to find them. They're called "recessed handles": https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B012BLJMQI/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Follow up, do you know if I'd be able to cut the holes for these by drilling a hole, then using some mill bits in a hand drill? I live in an apartment 😅

Hey, Yokosuka! I live and work there! I recognize the shape of the base(some things, of course, have changed since then). It's even sold on amazon.jp Well, I know what's going to be in my next order to amazon.

Thanks! I actually just found these. Do you think they would work?

Goldwood Snap On 6.5" Subwoofer Grille Steel Mesh Speaker Black (SGM6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074JF2WP9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xsjUDb5DY2G1C

Its a single cover so order 2. I installed my new speakers, the. Set the door panel on and traced out the speaker with a pencil on my door panel, then put the ring on the panel and marked the holes for screws. I went to ace and got three 6/32x3/8 black screws and nuts for the two sides and bottom and the top one I got a 6/32×3/4 bc there was a gap between the panel. I screwed 2 nuts on it to make up the gap. Then I put all the screws in the holes and tightened. I had to shorten the bottom one by a few threads bc it was touching the speaker base and I didn't know if it would vibrate. I then got two #4 screws (really tiny) and used a 5/16 drill bit to make two holes at say 4:30 and 7:30 on the speaker bc I found that when I shut the door with any force the grille popped off. The two small screws in the bottom keeps it in place.

Something like this is only $10 and ships in two days. You need a microsd tho

I just looked up "60 kHz speaker," and a few transducers popped up with the spec of 2 - 60 kHz. Here's one:
https://www.amazon.com/Piezo-Loudspeaker-Ultrasonic-Cannon-Kemo/dp/B07DRQPKG9

Now you need an ultrasound source and an amplifier that can drive ultrasonic frequencies. And to make sure you're producing ultrasound as well as calibrate the transducer level at different frequencies, you'll need an ultrasonic mic and an ultrasonic measurement system. Eek, gluck.

Raising Electronics 22U https://www.amazon.ca/Network-Server-Cabinet-Enclosure-Ventilated/dp/B06XS3C2WS

I bought it because it was on discount... And I've been cleaning the house in the past few days. That was what kicked off the whole project. It's surprisingly decent for the price tag.

As other reviews said on Amazon though, the assembly instructions are crap.

The shelf is a few inches deeper than the switch. Here’s the shelf I bought

Rosewill 1U 10" deep

I don't plan to carry this around a lot, but I just really like very small console-like mini PC systems. The Alienware Alpha was one of my inspirations and the length and width are almost the same. I wanted to do something with a similar size but with store-bought parts. I'd probably put it in a hard shell case like this one to take it around.

>They cost about $12 per foot, which is cheaper than commercial alternatives I researched.

Just get these instead.
