I bought a roll of this and used it on the bottom of a few pairs of shoes. That was a year ago and I'm only just now needing to replace the tape on one of the shoes I did. Going to a cobbler as someone suggested is probably a better option in terms of the quality and protecting the shoe, but for me $15 and an hour to do 4 to 5 pairs of shoes was worth it.

Try that rug for him that I linked. It's less than $20 - easy to clean, looks good. Even just right outside his cage... He will love it! :)

For stairs try these clear strips or these or something like this.

Oh an you are very very welcome!

Most manufacturers have color matched accessories which usually include stair nosing. Having said that... they are usually obscenely expensive.

If it were me, I would buy some raw oak stair nose, then experiment with stains until I found a good match. Some paint stores will custom match stains if you bring in a sample plus some unstained wood to match it on.

We use Safe Paw deicer on the steps and then wipe our pups paws off with a washcloth when they come in.

You can also get rubber stair treads for the steps as a temporary solution. The ice kind of holds them in place so you wouldn't need to find a way to adhere them. Something like this:

I bought some of this and installed it on the running boards. Worked wonders for years now.

Replaced our stairs with new oak treads. Then we found out the dog slips all over them. Didn't want an ugly dirty carpet runner. Tried some product on the stairs but I felt like I was ruining the oak and it made it hard to clean. Ended up using carpet squares. They look much better than I thought. Cleaning is a breeze, buy 2 sets and just throw them in the washing machine.

I am using corner stair guards https://imgur.com/a/wz9GE Here is a link to some at Amazon but I got them at Lowes. The reason I use stair guards is because one part of the L is flat while the other is curved helping keep the record on the wall. https://www.amazon.com/M-D-Building-Products-43878-36-Inch/dp/B0017GNGJ8/ref=pd_cp_60_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=S1KMC92HEQSJT6APV70R

Get some of those no-slip stair tread mat thingies. Something like this, only less ugly.

There are a few hybrid holsters out there that come with suede backing on the leather (hidden hybrid holster, firearm holsters, etc). I've never actually looked to apply anything to the front of the kydex on these holsters.

I have spent some time trying some different things on the back of full kydex holsters like those from pjholster. I've played with 3M safety walk indoor outdoor anti-slip tread (it's a bit thick but rubberized), skateboard tape, a rubberized grip tape sold on amazon, and even mole skin. I'll probably try that suede next. The others have worked - it helps it cling onto my side/shorts a bit more so that it doesn't feel like it's pulling my pants down quite as easily, but I'm not completely happy with any of them.

Whoa, I completely forgot to do this!

Gotta find a similar handle locally, since I'm not in Canada.
Would this work?

Is this the mounting tape that you used?

Would this work for the vinyl stair tread on top?

As far as modifications go, I replaced a broken peg on one of my bases by drilling out the stump and fitting a matching-size stainless steel rod into the opening, then epoxying it. BUT that was for an opaque base so I could hide the crimes, while yours will show everything.

I'll add that the rod was my second choice, I had already tried fitting the broken pieces of the peg together, gluing, and reinforcing it, but it wasn't strong enough post-break.

I bought this a little while back for my dog. It sticks surprisingly well.

I ordered mine through my hardware store. But you can order it off Amazon. I'll post a link. And as far as just a sheet of it I'm not really sure.

Adding these to my stairs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LJMPYM6/

Also, a fresh coat of paint does wonders.
