I was one of those few people who had a Coin and mine worked wonderfully for me. So I used it as my primary card. I would walk into a place and hand that over, it always caused questions. But it would really throw places off that used magnetic stripe rewards cards, like Tokyo Joes. Order, tell them I want to use my reward card, hand them the coin, sometimes just have to say "trust me..." they swipe it, hand it back sorta confused, I change it to my visa then hand the card right back to them... now they're super confused. It truly was a great product. I wish I could still use it.

It's not the only definition but it's used depending on context. You're looking at it from an individualistic perspective. The aggregate effect of the few prejudiced minority people in power just doesn't cause a massive effect. I'm sure there was some black banker in the 1960s that tried reverse red-lining but it's not affecting white people today.

It's the definition. If you're looking at a small community or subculture where a minority group is dominant then they have power in that context. I don't mean to be rude but getting your understanding of academic concepts from fictional tv shows isn't a good idea.

A torch is better for this because a soldering iron concentrates the heat in a very very small area. And since metal is so conductive and has a high thermal mass, it looses heat faster than you can apply it with a soldering iron, so it will never get hot enough to actually solder. Flux comes in a paste (or sometimes liquid) and is a weak acid that etches the metal to clean and roughen the surface so the solder wets to the metal and bonds better. It also helps keep air out of the connection to prevent oxidation while you're soldering, which would weaken the joint.

The steps would be to clean each piece, position or clamp them together, apply a good amount of flux, heat it all up with the torch, then touch the solder to the hot metal so that it melts on. If you need to apply heat directly to the solder (ie, the solder doesn't melt on its own when it touches the metal) then your metal isn't hot enough and it will make a cold solder connection that will be weak, or completely non-existent if it's too cold. It may look like it joined things, but the smallest bit of force (even from just normal handling) would break the joint and you would need to start all over by first cleaning off all the solder, then cleaning the metal, applying flux, and trying again.

Solder and flux. This kit comes with some emery cloth to clean the metal a bit before soldering.

I assume you mean a Pioneer HTIB like this? Those are pretty cheesy IMO the fact that there are spring clips for the front speakers on the receiver worries me too. Even a weird off brand AVR like Pyle, Martin Ranger or TechnicalPro or VocalPro has binding posts for the front speakers lol.

Admittedly it's been almost a decade since my last college course, and when I took sociology in (IIRC) my sophomore year P+P was not the end-all definition.

As for your supposed "reason it exists," I addressed this in my OP; prejudiced POC can absolutely exercise power over non-POC; all that's required is that they hold the appropriate positions in society, which they're fully able to obtain.
