the XCOM pack looks like a great deal, $3,75 for 5 awesome classic games it's a steal.
EDIT: since this is the last useful day, I'll share a tip I found in some previous thread for those interested in buying the Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire Complete Bundle for $5 tomorrow
NOTE: you should do this only if you already own Max Payne 2, otherwise consider buying it instead of the Local Justice Pack. There is more to chew on it than just a DLC.
My Comment got remvoed by Automod,
This is a digital code for a Play Anywhere title. This means the game can played on both PC and/or Xbox One with Cross Save and Cross play support.
For anyone curious, the game is a 117GB download on PC and it is an absolutely fantastic port. Possibly the best console port ever.
Once you buy the game, a code will be send to your email which can be redeemed on the Windows Store.
Edit - Same price at NewEgg.
Edit 2 - Amazon Price Matched
I'd wait for Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition ($7.49). I bought it and I love it, but you need a controller since it's a straightforward port, but also if you're not into first person action RPGs, then maybe Bioshock 1 and 2 ($4.99) or Batman Arkham GOTY Pack ($11.49) for action. Then there's Microsoft 5-Game Arcade/Indie Pack ($9.99) if you want to go casual (or just get Mark of the Ninja ($3.75) from it). Some people like The Storming, Burning, Reflecting, Flaming, Sabotaging Pack ($9.99).
If you like strategy games, I'd either look at the Paradox bundles or wait for X-COM and Civ V Gold because I think they'll be cheaper later this month. Oh, and there's the Sonic Action Pack ($9.99) if you like platformers. I don't myself, but Generations make it a great deal for $10.
I was going to post the same thing. Buy a good classic and make it up with some Rockstar Credit. I'm not sure if it'll works on bundles, but I read a forum thread about the upcoming deals and that Rockstar was going to hold some better sales after May 28th, including [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Payne-Complete-Bundle-Steam-Download/dp/B0091UYJ66) which is supposed to be going on sale for $9.99, Either way, buy Max Payne 2, get your money back in Rockstar Credit to use on some great Rockstar deals in a few days.
Pretty sure the Thrustmaster HOTAS X is the best cheapie hotas stick at $30-40 unless things have changed recently. I got one on eBay for $20 forever ago and really like it. Have not tried it on these SW sims though. The 3D Pro is also supposed to be nice for $20-30 if you don't want/need a hotas set-up.
I recently found a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro at Goodwill for like $9 and it played xwing v tie fighter great. Only $32 for a new on on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Extreme-3D-Pro-Joystick-Windows/dp/B00009OY9U. From threads I looked up, looks to be one of the best budget sticks out there, especially for the xwing series.
Thought I'd share what I found for any one else that may be interested.

Copy/paste of one review of the linked product above.
I bought this for one series of games: X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing Alliance and XW vs TF. I must say...despite how old these games are(though I admit I am playing versions I downloaded on Steam), this works perfectly. Every button maps to something, which is great as these games use the whole keyboard. It isnt hard to set up at all and there seems to be no disconnect between 2015 hardware and a game from the 90s(though again, steam versions). My only issue is the throttle stick doesnt map for all of the games as I'd like. in X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, your ships throttle goes up and down according to where you move the throttle to, in other games in this series it simply does 100%, 66%, 33% and 0%. I see no way to change this as its the only button i cant seem to map myself. Thats pretty minor. overall I am very satisfied. I doubt I will be playing many other flight games to test this out, but for my limited application it works great!
I am in the same situation. But here is an archive.org link of the page.
https://web.archive.org/web/20190720231512/https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EZB92QM/
edit: Amazon support transferred me to Twitch support, in the same chat window, because they believed it was for Twitch Credit. Twitch support then gave me the $15 credit. All you need is the link to the promotion, so grab that from the reddit post.
Thats pretty shitty of /r/gamedeals to downvote this so much. Activision/DLC may be really shitty about their DLC, but it rarely goes on sale. If you're a Call of Duty fan, this deal makes the DLC much less shitty.
Maybe because its linked to the Call of Duty site and not directly to where you can buy?
For PC Gamers:
Here's the store pages for MW3 and Black Ops... where the DLC can be found:
Modern Warfare 3: http://store.steampowered.com/app/115300/
Black Ops: http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700
Keep in mind, MW3 is $30 on amazon: link
They work great on PC. You can pick up a third party dongle. I also suggest picking up a charging base to save on those batteries.
Sadly, Many of us should have taken advantage of the 15% off earlier during Black Friday. But if you were unable to get one, this is about a great deal.
Feel free to go ahead and "a lower price" on Amazon Ps4 Pro , so more of us in the States can get in on it.
If you feel a PS4 Pro is over hyped, AMazon is running a PS4 Slim for 229 down from 249 Holiday Price Point
You can apply part of the $30 Bioshock: Infinite pre-order promotion towards X-COM: COMPLETE PACK - 3.74. I just did!
The gift that keeps on giving. Thanks, Amazon!
Edit: So far, I have used the $30 promotion for:
Desert to Sea Bundle 9.99
Borderlands 2 (when it was $14.99 - not currently)
X-COM: COMPLETE PACK - 3.74
I agree with this. I bought one and works great with everything. Only trouble I had is getting the driver setup, but that took an extra five minutes to setup and then everything was good. Highly recommend.
Link for the lazy
Edit: Ignore the below. I figured it out, looks like even though the DLC exists for my account, I dont have the CD key for it: http://i.imgur.com/16GxNq1.png
As the CD key needs to be activated in UPlay seperately from Steam, this basically means I still have to purchase Freedom Cry seperately to get the key in the first place.
-- Original Post below --
FYI for those interested in buying Black Flag and Freedom Cry, I bought Black Flag only on Amazon for $9.99 and ended up getting this:
http://i.imgur.com/gsEqAHZ.png
I don't know how Freedom Cry appeared on my account, but it appears to be bundled together for free when buying Black Flag (steam version) on Amazon.
This is the version I bought: www.amazon.com/Assassins-Creed-Black-Flag-Online/dp/B00GJXMRX0
Nice post! It looks like you posted the body of it three times though on the 7/28 prices:

For those looking to get the digital download, here a tip:
DON'T BUY THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD FROM THE SQUARE ENIX STORE!
Digital River, Square-Enix's distributor is awful and should be avoided as much as possible. The distributor has had a reputation of being very unreliable in the past. Even a moderator admit that they've had "plenty of issues" with them through the years.
After you make your purchase, you don't immediately don't get your game code. Aside from the "Thank you for your order. Your order is being processed and you will be notified of the result shortly" message after you confirm your purchase, you don't get even get as much as a confirmation email telling you that your order has been received. You will still get charged for your order. According to a Digital River support representative, they need between 24-72 hours to "review" your information... on a digital download, after they've charged you for the product. This might be fine in some instances (but it's still done in poor taste), if they informed you of the delays before your purchase. But alas that's not how they do things and SE doesn't seem to have taken any action to rectify this.
You can try to find your order at this site, but you might not find it if your order has not been reviewed (which can take more than two hours, according to reports from the SE forums). It's almost as if Square-Enix hates money -- with, partners like Digital River, no wonder they're struggling financially.
Even if you contact SE support, they'll just direct you to Digital River's support line. For those of who who have already ordered the digital download and have not received your game code (or even a confirmation email), you can call Digital River's customer support at 1-866-585-3251 or cancel your order by following the instructions.
If you or anyone you know would like to try FFXIV:ARR, while they might not offer the same discount, redirect them to any of these other sites (for you folks in North America). I've deal with the following or know people who have and I know that you won't have to deal with all the waiting and frustration with these distributors:
tl;dr: Don't buy digital products from the Square-Enix store, they use Digital River (their distributor) charges you and them makes you wait to get your game code. Save yourself the trouble and wait for it to go on else elsewhere.

It may not be listed in the Origin storefront, but it's certainly available on Amazon. Amazon lists the standalone version separately. Both activate on Origin.

Maybe in spring, but this comes with 1 year of psplus as well
It's also on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LRLJV28/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_b710gst_p63_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-1&pf_rd_r=3N7CSBFZC480Q88BXG50&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=04a5c22f-e81b-50bd-ab92-d44ae8c8f7f5&pf_rd_i=6427871011
Amazon has pricematched both D3 and RoS at $19.99 each. Useful for those not near GameStop.
Yeah, if you care about the first Alice game too, I'd suggest to wait until Amazon.com has the Complete Edition on sale again:
www.amazon.com/Alice-Madness-Complete-Collection-Download/dp/B00AKILZR4/?tag=electronicfro-20
Of course it is more expensive ($7,50 / ~€5,64), but since Alice1 unfortunately isn't available for download anywhere else, this is your only option (apart from physical and piracy).
Maybe it'll be available from GOG one day, so make sure you vote for it :)

Say I was to buy GTA 4 complete edition on Amazon, it's $12 and I'm from the UK.

CE edition for Dark Souls 2, PC, $29.99
add $5.01 for free shipping
The original was available as a pre-order bonus for the sequel when pre-ordered.
The original can be obtained on Origin by purchasing the dual game pack Alice: Madness Returns Complete Collection for Origin.
As far as I know, there is no way to get the original on Steam, only on Origin by buying the Complete Collection.
Amazon.com has occasionally put the sequel on sale before at prices considerably lower than the $29.99 shown on that above link, so I would recommend watching Amazon sales in case they ever do the same for the Collection.
Other ways to get it alone would be to buy a second-hand or retail disc copy from Ebay or Amazon. It is not on GOG. That or piracy.
Not entirely true, Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed IV on Amazon are Steam codes. But yes, mainly they aren't Steam codes.
This is on sale, and it includes Last of Us and Comixology, but it's not an amazing sale. Pretty average sale.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GJXMRX0 better choice with Steam DRM
2 such dongles w/a quick search... one is official the other not. Probably can find more or scour eBay as well. I think I got my official 360 wireless adapter for $10 shipped lurking auctions for a couple days if you're patient.
I use the official MS version and it works flawlessly.

Rocksmith 2014 on Amazon.com is listed as DRM: Steam, so I'll assume that it is correct in this case. But don't take my word for it. You could just send a mail to humble, the sale lasts another two days, they should hopefully respond in that timeframe.
Remember that you still need the cable to connect your guitar.
And this pack too maybe. For those who are interested in Deadlight and Mark of the ninja for instance.
It’s still included. If you go to this page, it’s included in the special offers.
If anyone's interested, Rockstar is also offering GTA IV + the 2 DLC episodes for $6. Didn't want to make a new post as it's related.
Grab it here: http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Complete/dp/B00906A1HM/ref=pd_sim_vg_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=05AQZN70GMRSM602XW49
NOTE: Valid for North America Steam only
Rocksmith 1 is $7.49 as well: www.amazon.com/Ubisoft-Rocksmith-Download/dp/B009GKT2W2/
You'll need to spend $10 to transfer the songs to Rocksmith 2014.
Collectors edition is cheaper than the steam key. Might as well get the collectors edition
http://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-II-Collectors-Windows-Pc/dp/B00IVHQ1L6/ref=sr_1_3_twi_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417214019&sr=8-3&keywords=dark+souls+2
Wildstar, FF14, Eve, WoW (retail price) base games all cost more than a one month subscription. Maybe "account activation fee" was a bad term, but basically you normally can't just pay for a normal one month sub and start playing.
and as far as joysticks go, since there are a wide range of them, I believe it was Superbunnyhop who recommended this as a decent inexpensive joystick during his retro review of Tie Fighter
edit: listen to the /r/hotas guy instead
I use these for all my pc gaming and whatever lag there may be is too small to be at all distinguishable by me. Exact same functionality as wired as far as that's concerned. Keep in mind that in order to use them for PC you must purchase one of these http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Pc-Gaming-Receiver-Xbox-xbox360/dp/B0076HD2W8/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1406576251&sr=8-5&keywords=xbox+360+for+windows
Edit: it's also worth noting you only need one usb dongle for up to 4 controllers. All is plug and play and works immediately.
Some other Steam-comparable deals:

I've never played it, but It's $15 from Amazon. And don't forget it's a monthly subscription, too.

I believe this is the adapter I use and it works out of the box, but your mileage may vary.
It's wireless, so if you're looking to use it on a pc you need a wireless receiver.
You can buy just the classics however, for 3.75 here
Also Max Payne 3 + LA Noire for the same price

You need a code, a "Digital Purchase", to download the game on PC, unless you have an Xbox one and can install the game via the disc so it appears in your library.
The Digital Purchase is $59.99.
This is a 1TB console, btw. I'd jump on this if it came with a game. The 500gb Slim is same price and comes with Uncharted 4. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LRLJV28/

Nope, I mean this one, which I believe includes the entire Sega Genesis classic collection (IIRC) or at the very least all the usually "non included ones" (aka Sonic, Toejam, etc) + the vast mayority of the others.
Which was sold for about $5 (or so) some time ago on Amazon.
Also, $1.xx USD is the regular "on sale" price for the Sega Genesis Sonic games, in fact you can normally pick them on Steam for that price tag (in response to this statement)
>Apparently this is an all-time low for individual sales of the Sega Genesis Sonic games.
Battlefield 3 is also on sale, 50% off premium as well.

Amazon had "the 5-game arcade pack" recently on sale for $10. Mark of the Ninja was one of the games in the bundle, Deadlight was another. No idea whether the bundle will come back:

Speaking of EA's bad practices, I've been meaning to get Alice: Madness Returns as well, but they only sell the Standard edition on Origin. The Complete edition, which also includes the first game "American McGee's Alice" (which is why I want it), can only be found on Amazon.
Get your shit together, EA...
You can make the original Alice available in the Steam version of Alice Madness Returns if you have access to the files from the original game (for example if you own the original game's disc or own Alice: Madness Returns The Complete Collection on Origin). Just do the following:

Does anyone know for how long though?
The first 40 games in the SEGA 48-Game Mega Arcade Pack and Sega Genesis Classic Game Pack are identical. The difference is that the Genesis pack (Series 5) contains:
Phantasy Star 2, Golden Axe 3, Streets of Rage 3, The Revenge of Shinobi, Wonder Boy in Monster World, Vectorman 2, Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium, Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, Dynamite Headdy, and Beyond Oasis / The Story of Thor.
Whereas the Arcade pack contains these instead:
Sonic 3D Blast, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Spinball, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, ToeJam & Earl, and ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron
