Yeah and the best part is all these great series are being released as special collections now.

Q1: I think Borderland GOTY copies had vouchers at first, but Gearbox ended up putting them on disc after a while. The Amazon Reviews confirm this. Currently the GOTY edition costs $30, but if you're not in a rush to get the DLC, you might be able to get it for $20 or less. If your PC doesn't suck, it would be better to just buy it through Steam or Amazon when it's on sale frequently for $7.50.

Q2: I don't know whether the DLC is playable without the full game, but I'd guess not.

If you worrying about HDD space, there are some great deals on Amazon and Rakuten right now:

I also got one shortly after getting PS Plus and haven't regretted it. I haven't played it a ton because I don't have as much time for games anymore, but I think it is a solid system.

I would recommend getting some kind of grip to make it easier to hold though, I was getting hand/wrist pain before I got myself this thing:

You can't charge while playing but I think it works quite well otherwise.

It's 6 games every month, some being cross buy. You pay $50 a year for it. That means AT MINIMUM you need to get AT LEAST $4.17 of CONTENT EVERY MONTH.

$4.17 x 12 = $50.04

Instead you get more like, a MINIMUM of like $20 of content, FOUR TIMES AS MUCH. Yet they STILL COMPLAIN!

WHERE'S KNACK FFSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

There kiddies. PS+ paid for itself 4 times over this month.

Please shut the fuck up and be thankful you're alive.

Can you weigh in on whether accessories like this are worth it?

I know the feeling... I'm currently at full capacity and I'll need to buy something like this when I finally decide to splurge on a PS4

And a WiiU and xbone in 10 years...

> I'm glad that my only part in it now is leaving the random comment from time to time. Cheers!

Don't forget getting downvoted, that takes time and effort as well.

>I don't think it's worth my time, money, or PS space to stay subscribed.

Bad logic is bad. In terms of time, no one is forcing you to play the games you don't want to play. The cost of one year of full retail PSN+ is $49.99 (I wont even mention that most get them for $40 during sales). At that cost, that's less than $5 per month. You can't even go to the movies for $5 in any major city. If you were to impulse buy a single fountain soda one time per week for $1.25, you could subsidize your entire years PSN+ subscription, respectufully, you fcking moron.

In terms of space, for virtually pennies you can A) upgrade your harddrive to a 250GB or B) realize that you only need to have enough space for the games you are currently playing which for most people is 2-3 at a time.

So before you call anyone back asswards I would take a little look in the mirror as you make zero sense with your self-pat on the back posts.

And lastly, if you don't sub to PSN+, why are you trolling our sub reddit?

I don't believe it's any, only laptops and PCs. I've tried plugging it into my TV as well as this and they don't charge my controller.

For those that don't want the Bundle and prefer disc, Tomb Raider is on sale for the $20 on amazon. http://amzn.com/B004FS8LYK

I've got this one since it splits the HDMI audio out to TOSLink for my AV receiver, and the second output is handy when there are arguments over the use of the main TV.

There's a lot of indirection in the answers here so far, let's get down to brass tax tacks (this makes more sense now).

  1. There are sales. There are many. They are not branded as strongly to "seasons" as Steam sales, but they are a frequent occurrence. Many games are on sale right now for example. There are weekly deals. Flash sales which typically last for a weekend, thematic sales around holidays, and just randomass sales
  2. If you're defining "full price" as $60, you're mistaken. Uncharted 2 is $14.99 right now on PSN. RDR is $15.50 on Amazon. The Last of Us is $19.99, and it went on sale in December for $9.99 with PS+.

Amazon has them listed for less then 200$ that took me 30 seconds to look at. 1400$ is NOT a great deal. Not even a bit. Good for that pawn shop, or even a few. Most do not format, they check to see if it works and it's good. Most pawn shops don't care about warranty stickers. They just move inventory. Show me ANY listing for that PS2 for the price you are mentioning. Seems you are the idiot for not even knowing after A FEW MONTHS of getting a notice someone was trying to change your password that HEY MAYBE THEY ARE TRYING TO HACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. A fool and his money are often parted. You my friend, are that fool.
