Shooting mat and rear bad like the other guy suggested. My first bag was a sock filled with unpoped popcorn and tied off... I still use that bag fairly often. this is the mat/bag that I have and I love it.
One thing that I would highly recommend is a scope lover. If you don't have one now then you might not notice how nice it is to have available to you. It van make a very big difference. I have a weaver (I think) anti cant device (scope level) and it was about $30 but I think it's well worth it. If I ever get another level it will probably be a solid piece instead of the hinged one I have now.

The Midway lightweight mat is the only one I know of off hand that will fold up small enough to fit in a range bag. It's on sale for $30. That said, it's very basic.
