That’s where the flask goes.
My bad. Let me link you the same style cupholder https://www.amazon.com/USDREAM-Aluminum-Handlebar-Cruiser-Mountain/dp/B07D15543T/ref=sr_1_40?ie=UTF8&qid=1527650988&sr=8-40&keywords=handlebar+coffee+cup+holder
They're the Lezyne Flow cages.
No, the pros tend to use these: https://www.amazon.com/Elite-Custom-Race-Bottle-Cage/dp/B01278EEF4
Thanks for the reminder. It was such a whirlwind trying to get everything in BikeIndex and Garage529 and talking to the police that I forgot to put the details here.
For the Cannondale Synapse SE 105 Disc 2019 it is unfortunately a 2 month old bike so it doesn't have too much to distinguish it from a stock new bike. The only modifications that I did were reversible accessory additions like
The bike rack looks a little out of place compared to the rest of it as it is actually a little beat up from wear on a previous bike. It also sports a Cambridge Bicycle store sticker. Serial number MD21685
For the Marin Fairfax SC4 Belt 2018 it is a little easier. It has a bike room sticker for EF Education first. It also has the same Topeak bike rack which is beat up from a car accident. The left rear side of the rack is bent in slightly. It also has one of the water bottle holders and has the normal Cycliq Fly12CE camera mount directly attached. The belt drive is also fairly unusual so I am hoping it stands out more. It also has a sticker for Farina's in Watertown and the serial number appears to be 041716870 MRN-111-01-190.

Helmet: there's a lot out there, you really don't need to spend a ton, but don't buy used.
Just because this is what I use doesn't mean you have to. Look around and buy what you think is best for you
Consider a bottle cage and a strap. Great items for short rides when you don't need a full pack, just a tube, pump, tool, and a bit of water.
I got the top one from a messenger friend, and the bottom from a bike co-op

Can you use any of the Podium bottles with a side load bottle cage? If you go with the same size bottle that you are currently using, you will lose water volume. Here is an example, https://www.amazon.com/Lezyne-Side-Load-Bottle-Cage-Pair/dp/B008R5LBB2
I have two of these. I know it's more money spent but boy am I glad I do

Hell yeah thanks for the pointer! I'm comparing the X-Lab combo to a cage mount and cage. I think the separate cage+mount will be 1/3lb total instead of 1/2lb so leaning that way right now
I have a Minoura seat mount.. it works good, cheap at $7 (no cage), its just heavy
I also have a xlab delta that works ok too, more of a pita to mount.
i don't really like seat mounted because I prefer to have my bag there.
Not very elegant, but this adaptor lets you put a bottle cage onto the seat-tube or downtube according to your preference. I had initially used cable ties over electric tape to protect the frame but it didn't seem to be reliable and left a sticky residue on the frame that I had to clean.
I bought one of these on amazon, for $7. lamped to my seat post. "Accmor Tools Free Bike Water Bottle Holder, Bike Cup Holder, 360 Degree Rotating Bike Water Bottle". Hmmm couldn't post pic.

A sunny day, reading a book and playing my guitar...when is winter going to end!
A cup holder for my bike
The Elite cages are popular but not that light and overpriced IMO. I have some off brand carbon bottle cages from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SV16XT2), they are light and work great with my Camelbaks. But even better are the Supacaz aluminium cages that I later got for my wife's bike, they are even lighter (18g each, lighter than the carbon version) and also work great with Camelbaks: https://www.amazon.com/Supacaz-Fly-Cage-Ano-Slick/dp/B07D3FLY7F
Looks like it could be this one https://www.amazon.com/Bell-Clinch-Tools-Holder-Silver/dp/B00VG3B18U/
The ones on this bike are Nitto R cages. On my other bikes I use King Iris cages. The Nittos are shinier and more graceful, but also more expensive.
Also Delta. Available on Amazon or through jb importers at your LBS.

I bought these and they work pretty well
Carry them behind your saddle with something like the one linked below, and then use your vertical bottle cage for storing your spare tubes etc.

this and this work well together. All you need.
Elite 0061698 Custom Race Skin Water Bottle Cage, Black

Try a side load bottle cage like Specialized or Lyzene make. I've never tried the Specialized Mantacage, but that looks promising too.
Local bike shop had these when I was looking for one. Works best with bottles smaller than 25 oz. SKS Water Bottle adapter
is it just some random jar or are they made for bottle carriers?
actually, i guess i can google myself:

https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-Bike-Bottle-Storage/dp/B00KZ858LS
https://www.amazon.com/SKS-Germany-10368-Cagebox-Storage-Container/dp/B0030IC22S
as an alternative to a bag, you might want to consider something like a CageBox. it's roomier than a bag, and looks more tidy on a bike, imo. mine contains a mini-pump, spare tube, tire levers, patch kit, hex keys, and, on longer rides, a snackbar, cash/credit card, and my phone.

I use a Stanley One-hand Vacuum Mug with an iris-style bottle cage (doesn't fit in other cages.)

Protip: these look exactly like carbon cages with the only weight penalty being a few dozen grams. For $11, everyone will stop heckling you about having ghetto cages.
