Here you go, sweatstains.
One girl in there said she hopes "wearing little to none at all" catches on. What the fuck are you even doing in here then?

Might as well go and buy this right now
Maybe give her something she can't destroy so easily?
So I actually tried to hunt down componant parts of a Lord Deadbones outfit >_> Here you go:
Cape: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Smiffys-Purple-reversible-cape/dp/B003DS2EAK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1411272424&sr=8-3&keywords=purple+cape
Robe (wear with hood down): http://www.amazon.co.uk/DEATH-COSTUME-HALLOWEEN-REAPER-SCYTHE/dp/B009HQGGLA/ref=sr_1_3?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1411273003&sr=1-3&keywords=black+robe - This also comes with facepaint and scythe, but not the facepaint you'd be wanting for a skull look. Scythe might be fun though
Belt (surprisingly hard to find): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Skull-Crossbones-Pirate-Belt/dp/B000UDOKZS/ref=sr_1_127?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1411273204&sr=1-127&keywords=gold+belt
Crown (no good ones D: ):http://www.amazon.co.uk/Novelty-Majestic-Queens-Single-Included/dp/B001GMQZ14/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1411273530&sr=1-1&keywords=golden+crown
Face paint for the skull look (optional): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Large-Snazaroo-Painting-Compacts-Colors/dp/B002ROGI2Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1411273574&sr=1-2&keywords=black+and+white+face+paint
Okay done now :3
A lot of official otome items can be pricey, especially like fanservice-y things like seiyuu CDs, art books, and illustrations. Games themselves, too, are pricey and it's hard to get something that comes with fast shipping from official stores because they ship from Japan or Korea and sometimes it's a pre-order, etc.
I may not play every since otome game out there, but I don't need official merch to be happy. What I mean is, I think even if you don't get something official for your friend, if it looks really nice and cute, I'd be happy with the thought that you got me something you usually wouldn't buy yourself. Sometimes fanmade things from storenvy or tictail can fit around your budget and are really cute!
Just as many people have said here, etsy and amazon are good choices to search for some merchandise, but before ordering, be sure to check how long shipping will take to you. Read reviews too, just in case the seller says they ship within 2 weeks, but some people get it 4 weeks later.
If you're willing to sacrifice a few more bucks, here are some gift ideas that (in my opinion) aren't that pricey, but I'd love to have/already do have:
Free! Rin shirt
Free! drawstring bag
Fire Emblem Fates Game Skin for Nintendo 3DS Console
Free! Haru figurine
Free! Haru themed necklace
Free! animal buttons set
Free! character buttons set
a bunch of otome buttons/stickers in order from least to greatest
Mystic Messenger notebook
Nameless Poster
707 Mystic Messenger Mug
some Hakuoki merch
some Fire Emblem shirts
some Norn9 merch
some Hakuoki merch from least to greatest
some Hatoful Boyfriend merch (for laughs and giggles)
*some Starry Sky merch
And that's all I can try finding around your budget. Sorry if some links have keychains and stuff, it's hard to exclude them. Hopefully this gives you some ideas on what to get your friend. It can be like a bunch of buttons and stickers, or like maybe one big thing.
Good luck! c:
> women get their daughters started on that at around 8 yrs old.

There are "Disney" brand "princess" makeup kits for girls even younger than that...
Non-toxic and safe for kids. Ages: 3+
Amazon has both spirit gum and liquid latex. I recommend Mehron brand, they are a good name in the makeup/prosthetic field.
I just put a couple [of these] (http://www.amazon.com/Fun-World-Costumes-9490-Halloween/dp/B002M0GZBE) under my bun when I have a burger. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
Get her pretend makeup! Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B013OOQO8K/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1469578908&sr=8-7-spell&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=play+todfler+makeup
That isn't the exact set we have, but it's similar. There are other similar options on amazon.
I got my daughter the pretend makeup for Christmas last year (she was 28 months at the time). She's almost 3 now and still plays with it several times a week. She stands on a stool next to me at my bathroom counter and pretends to do makeup while I do mine. She knows "finishing powder" goes on all over, blush is for cheeks, and eyeshadow is for eyelids. She pretends to curl her lashes and put on mascara. She's an expert, it's adorable.
Highly recommend pretend make up so she can do it herself while you do yours. You can always play with real makeup when she's a little older.
Edited to clarify that this kind of makeup does not apply any product at all, it's just to go through the motion.
Could try this or this! Amazon's a good bet for cheap props. Party city, too- it's amazing how much stuff you can repurpose.
Also, Dcon has some great costuming tip tracks, run by people who know far... FAR more than I. Great stuff.
For sure! When we picked these up from the costume shop it was a choice of very small LOTR style points) which might not have shown over wigs and the large ones which are less D&D elf and certainly not half elf. We went with large, after all it matches some fan art and the ears though not that big weren’t tiny in the live action intro.
However, I’m thinking of ordering this set. Different sizes to try to see what works best with our wigs AND it looks like these are clip on and don’t require spirit gum glueing.
Although if anyone has any recommendations off ears that would be wonderful!
A nice circlet crown or flower crown could be nice:

And a pair of elf ears:

Have no fear, they still make them
& here are the classics
I went as a zombie for a Halloween bike ride for the second year in a row (pic).
My makeup looked better than last year, and considering that I never really wear any makeup, let alone special effects makeup, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The makeup was all what I had left from the Mehron kit I used last year, along with some white Mehron makeup I bought separately. I wish the red makeup from the kit was darker and the black makeup wasn't so purple... I was in a bit of a rush to get everything done before the ride, but if I do it again next year I will do some more blending of those colors to get the wounds to look better.
My best tips for good zombie clothes: 1) Get two cans of spray paint, black and dark brown, and do a series of very light coats from far away so the paint particles float down. It does a good job of making the clothes look generally dirty and worn. 2) Do not under any circumstances use scissors to distress your clothes. On tougher fabrics like jeans, use a drywall sanding block or carefully just hit it with a belt sander here and there if you have one. On more delicate fabrics like knit shirts, roughly "shave" the fabric with a razor and it will create great, natural-looking holes. I especially like using the razor on hems and necklines.
Aw :( That's no fun <33
Here we go now hun I don't know you well but you don't need me to tell you you're wonderful you should just wake up and every morning when you look in the mirror you should be able to tell yourself " I am amazing" It's the best feeling in the world: self empowerment
I don't have any particular quotes? I'm all about those but alas. The way I always see it is there is no point in overstressing. I don't regret a single thing I do in life and I'm done some dumb things. But, regretting things implys that you would change them if you could and you wish you hadn't done them. Really everything we did previously makes us who we are today so there's no point in regretting. You CANT change it and it made you the wonderful person you have become. You learn from everything good bad and stupid.
Ouch 9 hours? That's hard. Do random stuff in your area! have a picnic, go to the museum. Or not self entertain. Watch some movies. Take on a do-it-yourself project. Dress up and take pictures of yourself. Do whatever makes you feel good! Say "I'm going to get a coffee" when you feel like one... then drive 200 miles and go on a mini vacation on accident. I'm not saying that planning isn't good but too much planning is a nightmare. Have fun!! <3
This or this and this
Thanks for the contest :3
This is an awesome contest! Thanks so much!
Gifted!
Honestly, any cheap Halloween makeup. I hate the stuff. I always end up buying something around Halloween that sucks horribly. For instance, don't use this for a white foundation. Just don't.
Nope, no allergies! I should be able to use everything just fine.
Thanks again! <3
My favorite book from the last decade or so...so good. I still haven't seen the movie because, frankly, I didn't want to be disappointed. I suppose I should probably see it.
This reminds me of The Pacific Journal of Adam Ewing.
Thanks for holding a VERY cool contest, and look out, or Old Georgie will get ya.
This! to Go with her dress up!
Try liquid latex? For large effects or attaching bald caps etc
Kangaroos Professional Grade Liquid Latex Makeup, 16 Oz Pint https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011X3C8CK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_OFM9Ab1V9ZARF
Or use spirit gum for smaller things that you need to REALLY stay on longer haha. You will need spirit gum remover as well (a separate product) to take it off safely.
Mehron Spirit Gum & Remover Combo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040ZEHPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VHM9Ab2HDKE3Y
There are a couple more options but these 2 products are very versatile and can probably accomplish your goals
Here are some Evangelion ones: One, Two, Three, Four.
Here are a whole bunch of SAO ones
Kill la Kill ones
I've been to it a few times. It is a lot of fun. As far as suggestions go... I would say Baby Wipes. They will be your best friend I promise. And there are a lot of really cool shinies on Amazon for cheap like lasers and face paints and EL wire and of course glowsticks by the hundreds. I'm not sure if I will be able to hit up Rothbury this year but you'll have a lot of fun!
We all know interspecies romance is weird
This is perfect because I'm re-vamping my wishlist!
This isn't popular
not that weird
By far the weirdest I actually have an idea for this one soooo yeah.
That said, my daughter does own this toy but it's for imagination play.
