It's the Tony moly peach handcream container with either silly putty or some kind of silly putty-colored slime

u/kelseylulu · 10 pointsr/Pottery

The glaze is celestial blue (though I don't think this job does it justice, I knew I didn't like him before I glazed, which was rushed).

What I bought to make the candles:

  1. Paraffin wax ($12.00/5lbs) : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B4JNWRY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  2. Wicks ($4.95): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015W8DWUO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  3. Pouring hot pot ($11.45):

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C2TS4H2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  4. The smelly oil (I spent >$12.00, it's recommended you use 1oz of oil/ lb of wax): https://www.candlescience.com/fragrance/all-fragrance-oils

I had a thermometer and I just boiled water in a cooking pot to apply the heat.

Obviously new to candle making, there could be better/cheaper tools out there, this is just what I got from ~15 minutes of looking around.

    I used this how-to video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIQEy7-_c04

I filled 4 smaller pots and have enough to make 5/6 more with the 5 lb amount of wax.

I used to have blisters in my first year of runing, but by now this is rarely an issue for me. Here is what I do to prevent blisters:

  • Use synthetic socks that are form fitting and not too thick. Poor fitting socks might bunch up and create friction points. My favorite brand is Balega.

  • Trim toenails short so that they don't catch socks.

  • For longer distances I apply this cream.

If none of this helps you might gave a problem with the shoe fit.

O'Keefe's Working Hands is made from unicorn tears and kitten dust, I swear. Sinks in and disappears, unscented, and it heals cracks like superglue. Get it at any drugstore in the States. I've never met an AB product that can hold a candle to it.

u/googleyeye · 7 pointsr/cycling

There are soaps specifically designed for removing grease from hands. I figured everyone knew about them. GoJo Orange Pumice Soap, Lava Soap, and Boraxo to name a few. Hell, even dishsoap is better than regular hand soap because it is designed to dissolve grease.

u/unicorn-jones · 5 pointsr/muacjdiscussion

Three words: Mini Pet Baby.

Technically I didn't buy this for the packaging, as it came in my beauty box, but I definitely would have. And it's very sturdy, so I've ended up refilling it with Cetaphil a few times. I have it on my desk at work and everyone who walks by is like WHAT IS THAT, IT'S SO CUTE

u/octobereighth · 4 pointsr/fountainpens

Lava Soap is my favourite, it's a bar soap that has pumice in it.

There's nothing it can't clean off your hands.

u/Anya5678 · 4 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I'm going suggest things that are exciting in some way. Whether that's packaging, a fun experience when using the product, or a scent you know they like. While we all know how great COSRX or other brands are, those are a bit bland to get as a gift. I'd also stay away from make-up, besides lip balm, as that tends to be very dependent on personal preference. Obviously no hardhitting things like actives, way too much potential for that to not work for them. Here's a few suggestions (all links are Amazon non-affiliate):

u/[deleted] · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Hands-down, the best (& I have tried 100's), face & body in ONE AWESOME PRODUCT! Try it, you won't be disappointed. Contains no parabens, and that's a plus. This bad boy right here.

u/ScribbleLee · 3 pointsr/Hypothyroidism

So I had hard, dry, white feet for as long as I can remember. This spring I tried this foot peeling mask and it worked WONDERFULLY. It took a few days before they began to peel, but when they did it was insane. You'll want to wear socks 24/7 for several days because dead skin will be everywhere. They left my feet soft, and I wasn't embarrassed for people to see them.

Good luck!!

u/bandungbule · 3 pointsr/wicked_edge

I like Dr. Bronner's for everything. Follow it up with a balm or moisturizer, and you're all set.

u/Face999 · 3 pointsr/guns

There are creams that work like this

http://www.amazon.com/BlueMagic-5216-Invisible-Glove-Coating/dp/B000ID0H6Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335704697&sr=8-1

Don't know if that would help.

I use a pair of Carhart gloves I found cheap, part thin leather and part nylon. Might look at the Mechanix brand/type also.

u/casher7 · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

This is only for hands, but my dad owned an excavating company and he often came home covered in grease and dirt. We always had Lava soap bars around. He ordered them in bulk and kept them in the shop for the employees as well. My dad always kept a nail brush in the shower too to get all the dirt out from under his fingernails.

He had the same issues with callouses and I remember him keeping O'Keefe's in his work truck.

u/ribbongibbon · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I'm really sorry that you've been struggling with depression. I've been there, and still am sometimes, but most days are good days now :)

I have a few self-care items that can work for anyone if you're looking for a recommendation or if you want to smell like a fruit:

Banana hair mask: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0792P4YNV/?coliid=I1LD7W6Y86KEV4&colid=2TY4AITOLCELL&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Peach(/butt/boob) hand cream: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RYDWJLO/?coliid=I3OMS6HTRTHG&colid=2TY4AITOLCELL&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

u/shazie13 · 2 pointsr/Wishlist

Foot peeling masks are as weird as it gets on my WLs. The peeling phase is definitely creepy but the results, soft and sandal-ready feet, are worth it IMO.

Thanks.

Okeeffe's lip balm and hand cream in a tube. Okeeffe's is a hikers best friend.

I also use Injinji socks and add either RunGoo or Trail Toes for my longer runs.

u/TheWord_Love · 2 pointsr/migraine

My pharmacy had a sample of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion out. It’s the best stuff I’ve ever come across and has 0 smell. Despite its price, I keep buying more. My husband works in the medical field, so his hands at extra dry. This stuff worked miracles in just a week.

u/rdavis4559 · 2 pointsr/powerlifting

I spent a couple of years trying to figure out how best to go about it. I've seen and tried many different methods including emery boards, pumice stones, soaking hands and either filing down or using a cuticle trimmer to cut calluses off, picking off calluses with your fingernails, and on and on.

What I found worked very well for me is using Callus Eliminator gel.
http://www.amazon.com/ProLinc-Callus-Eliminator-4-oz/dp/B000PT1R9E

  • Rub it on your hands, wait 3-5 minutes, then file your calluses down with a pumice stone.

  • If you don't want to wait for the gel, take two cups of hot water and add another half cup of apple cider vinegar and an 1/8 to a 1/4 cup of hand soap, mix this all together and soak each hand for 3-5 minutes then get to filing.

  • I prefer this pumice stone: http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Pumice-Pumi-Bar-Purple/dp/B0002KU6GG

What I found works even better and much, much quicker is to use an electric nail buffer post-shower (negating the need to soak your hands first). Any electric nail file will work. You can either use the coarse carbide tips or the sandpaper tips (the latter are my preference).
What I use looks similar to this: https://www.nailsuperstore.com/assets/items/large/medicool-pro-power-portable-electric-nail-filing-machine.jpg

The electric nail file works so much more quickly than any sort of manual filing with a pumice stone or any other coarse object.

Well, I wear boots so use this stuff on my feet, ears nose, and man parts. Have't had foot odor since. The rest, I use an exfoliating dove bar.

u/Atario · 2 pointsr/pics

First, apply this.

u/sunnie123 · 2 pointsr/bigboobproblems

I think it’s tinea versicolor. I get it a couple times a year. This really helps: PediFix FungaSoap Cleansing Wash - 6 Ounces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002DUTHY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QkMSCbQANJK9N

u/handsopen · 2 pointsr/Frugal

Here's what worked for me! Dr. Bronner's tea tree castille soap and 100% pure tea tree oil. Wash your face with the Dr. B's in the shower every morning (you literally only need 4 drops for your entire face) and spot treat with pure tea tree oil before bed (put 3-4 drops on a wet cotton ball and dab it around.)

u/bcarp914 · 2 pointsr/AskReddit

Here js a link to what I'm referring to.
About the reviews: the people giving it 1-2 stars are NOT mechanics. They are artists protecting their hands from paint.
All the MECHANICS give the product 4-5 stars.

Socks and the Hiking Goo . let me know if you have more questions, but these two things are put on before every hike I go on.

u/Rebeleleven · 1 pointr/Fitness

Basically this, /u/BeeFact.

I use this pumice after deadlifting and benching days. In addition to that, I use CeraVe's hand cream probably once a day or so.

If my callouses get really messed up (which they don't anymore from using the above steps), I would apply CeraVe's healing ointment after a thorough pumice session before bed.

Also, you should wash your hands immediately after your workout to remove any chalk from your hands. Donny Shankle has a hand care video that echoes what I said above.

u/suckinonmytitties · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Congrats on getting healthy and day three of no soda! You can do it! I like chocolate milk, learning, listening to music, taking mid-day naps and gifting people! I would love to try this Dr Bronners soap in either peppermint or tea tree oil because I am out of soap and this is organic and not tested on animals :) Any size would be great! Moon Knight. Thank you so much!

u/SeveredKibbles · 1 pointr/minimalism

For me, the first three are taken care of by [Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Soap] (http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Bronners-Magic-Soaps-Pure-Castile/dp/B0006NH946/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426296853&sr=8-1&keywords=dr+bronners+tea+tree). Tea tree is an astringent, keeping acne-causing oils off your face, and it helps fight dandruff. I do use conditioner though.

u/TigressOfTheFarEast · 1 pointr/acne

I got mine from Amazon, but I'm 90% sure they also sell it at Whole Foods or GNC health stores. It comes with different oils, but I chose the tea tree version since it helps calm acne. It wasn't until the 2nd week that I noticed my acne calmed to maybe one or two spots, and they were VERY TINY spots so yes, Dr. Bronner's is a life saver!

This is what I bought:

I'm using the WRMK Wick for making my candles, so I can adjust the temperature along a pretty wide band.

u/julchak · 1 pointr/Ultralight

This stuff is amazing and is always in my pack. I pack a tiny nalgene container full with it, load it up on my hot spots before the day begins and it stays on the whole day (even after stream crossings)

u/phammy19 · 1 pointr/SkincareAddicts

I agree with u/lifeiskpop! I swear by Tony Moly Shiny Foot! And then use their shiny foot moisture cream/socks.

Edit: punctuation swap

u/lost12 · 1 pointr/Fitness

Didn't know they made hand lotion. https://www.amazon.com/EOS-Hand-Lotion-Cucumber-Ounce/dp/B0076XEQJ0?th=1 like that?

And speaking of avoiding callouses...

It's time I buy new gloves :|

u/i_killed_baby_jane · 1 pointr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I like this Tony Moly foot peel. You soak your feet and in a few days you will be rewarded with a disgustingly satisfying peeling experience. It always leaves my feet super soft.

u/jytal · 1 pointr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

You could also try an anti-fungal wash or soak. I've tried both from Pedifix and they seem to work.

u/chiclet81 · 1 pointr/CompulsiveSkinPicking

I was thinking bout posting something about this. I am a compulsive finger/cuticle picker, and I have found a solution that is working okay for me. I could this stuff from Amazon called Pro Linc Callus Eliminator (link below) that is meant to dissolve calluses. I wait a few days without picking so I don't have open sore spots that will burn... Then I soak in the bath (or just soak your fingers in a sink) and then apply this to my finger tips/cuticles and areas of skin that are rough and gross. I wait 3-5 minutes, and I use a cuticle stick during that time to loosen and push back cuticles. Then I rinse it off well and wash my hands. Then I use a cuticle trimmer to trim off the excess cuticle stuff and a pumice stone on any rough spots/calloused areas around finger tips.
When I am done, the skin is much smoother without rough areas to pick at and pull at. The get just sort of dissolves the dead skin a bit so it can be rubbed away easier with a pumice stone and gives you a smoother surface, instead of layers of dry skin to pull at. I finish with a thick application of Bag Balm overnight, and then I try to maintain with Bag Balm each night and avoiding picking as much as possible. I just redid this after two weeks, with great results again, like new hands!!!

u/dregan · 1 pointr/daddit

If you're using it for skin irritation (on yourself), I'd recommend this. It works amazingly well and even cures atheletes foot way faster than any antifungal cream.

u/jsimprint · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

This stuff is incredible.

Slather it over the calluses and leave your feet in plastic bags. I keep it on longer than it says to. TONS of dead skin can be scraped off while rinsing. Finish w pumice stone. Magic

u/thelongarmofthelaw · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I find Dr Bronner's Tea Tree oil soap 1 or 2 times a week is a nice balance between keeping the natural oils in the hair, while keeping things smelling nice and clean. I find if I don't shampoo for too long, my hair looks good, but my scalp gets gunky.

Make sure you get the tea tree oil soap though. The peppermint soap left my hair feeling greasy.

u/mobiusbug · 1 pointr/KitchenConfidential

Ginger cook here: I had the same problem, lots of soapy/bleachy water, combined with constant high-heat exposure, eventually got so bad I went to a dermatologist.

Don't wear gloves when you don't have to, you'll sweat, your skin will be damp without any air, and you'll just make it worse.

Try to get somebody to write a scrip for a topical steroid to reduce the major irritation, and then get yourself some CeraVe hardcore hand protector cream, it did wonders for me, I use it before and after every shift now. It's fucking awesome. like ten bucks a tube but totally worth it. My hand was fucked for almost a year and it's totally gone now.
