OP should just buy him a ring. A nice tungsten carbide ring is like $20 on Amazon, so who cares if he doesn't wear it, it's $20.

u/AnAvidGolfer · 25 pointsr/CCW

Depends on what you're looking for. Just take this for an example: tungsten ring from Amazon vs. Zales.

It wasn't available via prime when I got it years ago but this is the link

u/lex917 · 8 pointsr/calmhands

Have you tried a ring that spins? I have a few of these and I try playing with it rather than picking when I'm nervous. I've refocused my compulsion.

Here you go, classic ring! Make sure to check if there's a cheaper model, I remember seeing the exact same ring model for 10$

4mm Thin Black Ceramic Ring for Him and Her Brushed Comfort Fit Wedding Band 8 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B016EVR14G/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_H.i0DbFXD77SS

Edit: I forgot the existence of CAD and USD. xD

I don't know the price you're seeing with this link, disregard my comment if you see the price in USD haha.

I got my wedding ring off of amazon for $20. I feel cheap now. Here it is. That said, I saved a ton of money.

I was into occult for a while.

Here is a picture with the same pattern on another pendant.

So what you found in short has the name of god on it and in most cases they are made to give protection or increase productivity.

This stuff is also sometimes called high magic.

Any other questions, let me know.

I included Chicago in my title because I do outside sales, traveling all over the city, and yes, I go to some pretty bad neighborhoods. Anyway, I still don't feel compelled to carry a gun, so there's that.

Depends!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016EVR14G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That's the one I got- it's not really solid black, more like dark gray, but it looks really nice.

u/pandangela · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

also, a lot of the jewelry they have on Nomorerack you can find on Amazon at a fraction of the price because it's all being sent from Hong Kong. it's the EXACT same stuff like here, check this out..

this owl necklace on Nomorerack

and then

this owl necklace on Amazon!

$6 bucks on Nomorerack and $.71 on Amazon... that's a bit of a markup there Nomorerack! LOL there's plenty more if you just look. I just happen to own this one that I bought on Amazon of course :D

On Amazon search "tungsten men band" they have a lot of stuff, this is the one I went with -

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01B4BQVGU/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1479709585&sr=1-6&pi=SL140_SX95_CR0,0,95,140_QL70&keywords=men+tungsten

My wife's was $20 but similar style mirror finish on the inside instead of black.

u/patriarchsmith · 2 pointsr/exmormon
u/kittyPowersupply · 2 pointsr/malefashionadvice

I've seen many of the braided bracelets similar to the two in the first picture on Amazon

u/Thought-Starter · 2 pointsr/Frugal

When I got it the price was $8.99 but here is what I bought - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009PFIYMC

u/Princess_Satan · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Haha I always get this necklace as a recommendation on Amazon. I think it's this one. There are similar ones in the "customers who viewed/bought this also viewed/bought..." part.

u/GinDeMint · 1 pointr/Frugal

I'm also shopping for my wedding band, but I'm pretty sure I will get a titanium or tungsten ring. My brother-in-law has this one (he paid the full $100 at a store) and it's a nice, good-looking, scratch-proof ring.

It's not too unusual to replace your wedding ring, upgrade them over time, or have different ones for different occasions. Given pricing, a lifetime of tungsten rings wouldn't come close to a gold ring in price.

u/thefreed1 · 1 pointr/planetarymagic

It was this talisman https://www.amazon.com/Pentacle-Talisman-Hermetic-Enochian-Kabbalah/dp/B007I34PFI/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=saturn+pentacle&qid=1568266384&sr=8-1

It was the 2nd and 7th saturn pentacle together, and I just used it because I heard Saturn is great for balancing your energies.

and do you just read the orphic hymn outloud?

Honestly, I am kind of a loner and really lonely. I've been reading my 12th house in Saturn, and Sun aspects... and I am wondering if I'll be alone forever... without experiencing love...

Does my natal chart say anything that?

Thanks man you've been a great help, I am going to start doing the planet hexagrams on their days, and start doing the orphic hymns on saturdays.

I love these! I bought my fiance this steel one to wear on his right hand as an engagement ring and he says he might just keep it as the wedding band too. :)

u/Late_80s · 1 pointr/TwoXChromosomes

Take a look at tungsten, titanium and stainless steel bands on amazon. Some are as cheap as 2-10 bucks each and they come in a bunch of designs. Most can pass for silver and some can have a gold finish.

Here's a set example

Another

Somewhat fancier one.

Gold finish

Classic, plain stainless steel band.

There's really a lot of cheap options for you on amazon if you don't want to go the gold/silver route. If you look at the related rings for each one, you'll find tons.

EDIT: found more examples.

One of the innumerable "magic talismans" that have badly rendered Hebrew as drawn by someone who can't read it, and the "malachim alphabet, I believe (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malachim).

https://www.amazon.com/Pentacle-Talisman-Hermetic-Enochian-Kabbalah/dp/B007I34YCM
Protip: it says "enochian" but it's not - it's malachim (not that either one is ancient).

u/grey_lady15 · 1 pointr/weddingplanning

tungsten actually comes in a silver color. I second the person above recommending Amazon as well. We purchased his tungsten ring at a chain jewelry store for $300 and they sell the exact same ring on Amazon for $30.

I thought there would be some sort of difference (I was hoping, anyway) but alas, the chain-jewelry store ripped us off and the $30 Amazon band is just as good.

Edit to add example

u/mwd410 · 1 pointr/calmhands

Yes, it will heal by itself, but you MUST stop picking at it. Try to find another outlet of that physical frustration. For Christmas, my girlfriend got me a ring that's spins. There are a bunch of similar rings, and at least this one is really fun to spin. I plan to get more.

She also bought me Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty. This actually helps probably more than the ring while I'm at work, where I'm a programmer, so I sit at a computer all day. I've found that I'm most likely to pick at my nails while mulling over a difficult problem, but that having a ball of this in one hand really helps ease my nerves.

Anyway... I hope I help you overcome your picking. I'm getting better, and these tools have really helped so far, but I just bit a few nails today, so I still need work. Good luck!

  • If you're looking for a nice braided leather bracelet I would suggest KJP. Also Tod's makes some really nice braided leather pieces. If you're looking for a lot of options just go on Nordstrom's or Barney's website.

It is my understanding that a woman wears her engagement ring and wedding band as a set. Sometimes women get them put together into a single ring. Men usually just wear the wedding band.

Thinking about things like everyday wear and ring/stone toughness are things you should look into when purchasing jewelry. Cheap materials will wear quickly and look worn. However, no need to sell the farm for durable and attractive rings.

I think the importance of rings are really up to the couple. For my husband and I, they were of low importance. We wanted to exchange them in our ceremony but we don't wear them daily.
If cost is a concern, know that there are plenty of cheap alternatives.
This is my engagement ring. He spent less than $500 on it and I love it! Our saving went to a down payment on a house.
This is my wedding band (but I don't wear it often... so grain of salt with that one). However, if you want something a little more durable, this probably won't break the bank.
And this is my husband's wedding band.

Altogether, including the fact that I have two of each of our band, we spent $510 on rings.

Also if either you or your fiancée have a job that involves heavy machinery or power tools, de-gloving is a real concern with ring wearers so rings might be a no go altogether.

I spent years looking for a good replica ring, and this is the single best ring I ever found. I have worn it for two years and it's still as shiny as the day I bought it. Can not recommend it enough. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CZDLICO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_2PxAwb336D5GF

This tungsten band

It's nice and heavy, and identical to the one from the jewelrey store that was $300. It's especially important since I always am misplacing it.

I think I paid $35, but it was a few years ago. Either I paid too much or they have come down a lot.
