They are designed to use with a printer, but you can do marker. They're about 4"x2" with a white bit in the middle. They wrap around for custom fit and cover the written part of the label with the clear portion of the label.

If you're so inclined, grab yourself a sheet of mailing labels. You can use MS word's labelling function to create a full sheet of labels that read:
Addressee has movedPlease forward to:[Put their new address here]When a piece of their mail shows up, slap a label on it, put it back in the mailbox and lift the flag. Or you can just write it out on the envelope, but if you get a lot of this stuff, the labels become more convenient.
The mail will get forwarded to them at their new address, and the Post office will also get the hint after a few of these to start automatically forwarding their mail.

I recently printed 240 munzees for myself. I used three pages of the paper ($1.50), printed at OfficeMax ($.45), then cut. So for about $2.00, I got 240 munzees, laser printed on weatherproof sheets for less than a penny each.
Notes: When you are ready to print, save your designs as a PDF. Look at it before printing, making sure you dont waste anything. I usually print mine around .75" which give me 80 per page.

Ditto. I use a glue stick whenever I label a beer that I’m not intending to end up in an ice chest. It stays on well enough, and is easy and cheap.
If I do want to put it in an ice chest, I found a pretty decent set of print stickers on amazon that are water resistant. It’s a bit of a bitch, getting the images to line up with the stickers, but it’s an option. Edit: print stickers link - although now I’m seeing some other good looking options. It’s been a while since I’ve done this.

Meh. Offering free stuff for having an "I voted" sticker isn't the same as, "If you vote for me I'll give you a pizza." I think anyone cracking down on that is being a bit ridiculous, especially when you can buy this on Amazon for less than $10.
Sometimes I re-use shipping boxes and I cover the previous labels and any bar codes or words on the box to avoid confusion at the post office. (And they bitch if I don't). I may have used 2 or 3 half-sheet adhesive labels, which made the weight go up by 0.2 oz. That was just an example of the post office being picky.

Don’t bother with Dymo branded labels - just buy generics. Here are the ones I use. 880 labels for $27.99. That’s only 3 cents per label.
The Dymo labels are nothing but a money grab. You’re paying for the brand, that’s it. The generics function exactly the same.

My cost effective solution for soups & stews or anything that comes out of the instant pot or slow cooker is mason jars with plastic lids. The glass can go straight in the microwave & the kids are easy to wash & label.

I don't know about a kiosk but you can order blank vinyl sticker paper for use with laser printers on-line. They are pretty durable but if you have access to a laminator you can run the sheet through that after printing.

I just buy these half sheets stickers and print it from regular printer.
It comes out to less than 4 cents per sticker. It works great and I didn't have to buy a label printer just for printing labels / have it clustering my desk
For the "character sheets" (I call them the faction mats), I used black cardboard (200 or 250gsm) with self-adhesive paper.
I might change these more often so I didn't want to use something thicker, and, in fact, I thought that I could build the thickness as I glue more and more paper to it until I've got a version that looks more final (and then I'll transition to thicker cardboard).
For the cards, I used the same black cardboard with the self-adhesive paper. This time, though I wrapped the cardboard with the adhesive paper so that I'd get front and back.
I then sprayed them with a clear lacquer to preserve the ink.
In the beginning they stick a little bit, but after some use, they feel a bit more like playing cards.
I want to use linen paper + spray glue + cardboard for my next version of the prototype as I hear those make them feel exactly like playing cards.
As for the rounded corners (on both the cards and the faction mats), it's just a rounded corner cutter.
It's not brilliant, and for thicker items you might have to have some hand strength, but it's cheap and it gets the job done.

Shipping labes? Free half label sheets you can get with a free UPS account. Or you can buy them cheaply on Amazon/eBay in bulk.
Don't listen to them. Yes, Zebras are nice, but you can use Inkjets just fine with these labels.
They have two labels per sheet. A little on the large side of things, but if you're shipping with something wider than a DVD case, you're golden.
The costs are very minimal if you use Amazon Prime - I paid something like $30 USD for 1000 labels (500 sheets, 2 labels each). They work fantastic. I usually use 1 sheet per order, with the 2nd label including the packing manifest. No tape is needed.
Whatever you do, use these labels or some other adhesive-based label. You will cut about 50% of your shipping time by avoiding the usage of tape and cutting the label out.
YMMV, but these have been the difference between agonizing over packing and shipping, and being able to process dozens of orders per hour for my business.

Also not sure where in the world it's available but I use the HP smart ink service. For £1.99 per month I can print 50 pages no matter how much ink is used. The printer detects when its going to run out of ink and HP send you more ink before you run out. All for 1.99 a month!

After this gets delivered (or maybe before), I would go ahead and terminate the office side of the cables you need to connect. That way you can connect the tone generator side to the cable then go find the other end in the bundle. Be aware that sometimes the tone receiver (the part with the metal tip) needs to almost be in contact with the wire in order to receive the signal depending on how long the run is and how cheaply made the tone generator is.
