There is a piece of equipment to help train this. I believe it can also be used to develop better hands. It was either Marcus Semien or Tim Anderson that improved a ton because they used this religiously.

these

i believe you can find them at academy and maybe walmart also.

I understand that it's for charity, but there needs to be a reasonable price established. This way, you don't under or over charge.

Brandon does public autograph signings. Typically, he charges about $80 for any object.

Depending the actual ball (generic, rubber, NFL Duke, etc) and quality of the marker used, the price will fluctuate.

So, my guesstimates:

For reference, a two pack of brand new balls for $60.

yes they have non game used pucks i bought one one when I went for preseason, forgot how much it cost but it was for sure less than 25 dollars.

they have them on Amazon for 14.00 I'm sure you could find them elsewhere for cheaper as well.

It really depends on the quality of ball you're looking for. These might be similar to the ones you're talking about, but they are terrible quality. The exterior of the ball is plastic, while a real baseball is made from leather. In soccer terms, it's similar to a glider replica instead of an official match ball.

If you're looking to buy baseballs, it'll be rare to find a place online selling a single baseball. This is an individual Major League baseball, but they're kind of pricey. It's up to you on what kind of baseball you're looking for.

I remember doing the paddles thing with in the triangle. We had these "gloves" that were basically hard foam with an elastic strap on the back.

Probably the least fun I've ever had in a baseball season, all because our 1st place team blew one game during the season. it was punishment. this was rec ball too

For the nominal cost of a sheet of poly and an hour of DIY repair VS the cost of buying a new hoop this isn't a terrible deal.

I'm not in the market for a BB hoop, but if I was and saw this one I'd buy it and fix it up.

...that said, I'm pretty decent with my hands/tools, so a minor thing like installing a sheet of poly wouldn't really put me out much.

EDIT-

It would also be pretty easy to just use a sheet of plywood to repair it.

Really, a simple repair job.

A hoop like that can cost around $200-$300 new.

For the less skilled, a replacement backboard/rim costs around $80

The answer to your question is out there. Only, we cannot answer since we don't know your flaws. The best thing to do is get a single lesson from a pro, ask him to give you some drill and even ask him what training aids would be beneficial for you. He even might use some training aid during the lesson.

I used this aid to help my elongated back swing. Took me a while but now I have much better tempo and actually get more speed.

This is a good tool to use on your swinging to make sure your upper body is working in unison.

Check out some of these tools and look up some drills. I am sure you can find a few that would help your game. Good luck!

You're welcome. Here's a sample of what's available. Not sure if this stuff is heavier or lighter than Tungsten tape or other types, but you can look around and find whatever works best for you. It won't add a ton of weight, but an extra few grams here and there might make a pen feel better in your hand.

I use a golf club brush. It has two sides with different course brushes and a point for the grooves. Use during my rounds too. Attaches to the bag.

Got mine on Amazon and I absolutely love it. Quality is amazing and easily the best glove I've ever worn. This one is 13 inches. I play infield and outfield and it works for both.

Like this?

Innovative. I was planning to replace my stock but if I could do this to satiate my balanced-rifle-appetite until I could drop the money for a UBR or just use the money saved for more ammo, I'll take it. Thanks!

u/azdre · 1 pointr/nba

Too much. That's a Stern ball which might be why the cost is a bit inflated (Silver is on the new ones). Usually an official NBA game-ball is ~$100.

Once broken in, an NBA game-ball is hands-down the best ball to hoop with, but, and this is an important point, it takes a lot of time to break in a game-ball (weeks of daily use) and it must be done in a pristine setting.

Pristine setting = squeaky clean indoor gym. No exceptions.

The slightest bit of dust/dirt/grime will ruin the leather, especially once it starts loosening up and getting worked in.

But boy oh boy, if you do it right (or are lucky enough to actually have used real game balls), there's no other basketball like it. Silky smooth but incredibly tacky (with a little bit of moisture). The sound it makes on a perfect swish is unmatched. Best of the best, obviously.

That being said, like many others have mentioned, there are better more realistic options out there.

You're correct however it's delayed to not ship before 1-2 months.

NFL Shop still has em at $99 but they rarely put anything at a noteworthy discount
