(Part 2) Best sports & outdoors clothing according to redditors

For reference I'm 5'4" and 145lbs but I weighed max 160 at the time of purchasing some of these items. I wear a size 29 jeans but sometimes I need a 30 or 28 depending on the cut/style. I am a 36c so sometimes finding shirts that fit is a mission. Hope this helps


Off shoulder dress. I use belt so I have a nicer shape. The girls fit nicely and the belt is a must so I don't feel like I'm wearing a poncho.

I wear these sightly high waisted with a spaghetti string shirt tucked in. They are comfy and the material is breathable. My hips feel happy and it hugs my curves nicely. I prefer my pants loose and I'm sure a 10 would fit but not as comfy as I'd like.

They help with immediate symptoms! By reducing blood pooling in my legs and feet my standing stamina gets better and my legs generally feel much lighter and less uncomfortable even if I’m just sitting around the house. Thigh or waist high ones are recommended but I can tell a big difference with knee-high ones, and there are tons available because people also wear them for sports (sports compression leggings and compression leggings in general from Amazon are also 100% worth it)

I'd browse around stores with the intent of "would I feel cute doing pole in this?"
Literally wear whatever you want it really doesn't matter as long as you're comfortable and can grab the pole.


Swimsuit bottoms can be cute! Just make sure it's a material you like the feel of. I have some super short bike shorts and also pink jersey shorts that, while they definitely aren't long, have a little bit of a flare and are sooo so comfy. I pair them with a cute wired sports bra.

It depends on how hot you personally run. I'd look into getting a pair of fuzzy flannel gloves and a hot water bottle. Even a Nalgene bottle, if filled with hot water and shoved into your hoody, can make cold weather much more pleasant.

I typically wear fleece-lined leggings like these under my usual hiking pants when it's cold out. They're not wool and won't keep you warm if you get wet, but if you're just chilling at camp, it shouldn't be an issue.

Amazon is great for getting wardrobe basics cheap. I always want things that are cute but also comfy. You can get a variety pack of comfy tank tops (like 5 in a pack with different colors) for around $20. And I got a pack of these amazing Yoga pants with pockets in multiple colors I think they were 2 for $30. And they were good quality too which was a huge bonus. I got a pack of yoga tank tops too in a variety of colors for probably around $20-$30. Definitely check out amazon for “bulk” things you might need.these leggings are the BEST

I own an absurdly large number of pairs of these leggings. Thicker than tights, but they don't have that tight band that squeezes just where you hurt. It's a nice, smooth elastic panel that I can pull almost all the way up to my ribs. I love them:

My favorite leggings are the Colorful Koala Pattern Leggings (leopard prints dropping tonight on their website!) and also their 7/8th Pocket Leggings (any other legging is a different material from them, these two styles are the same though).

Not really too sure how they compare to VS though, since I've only ever looked at those in store and never owed a pair.

I haven’t tried their leggings yet, just their sports bras and running shorts.

That said, I like the leggings from Senita Athletics and their prices are very reasonable (that’s basically their entire business model). I think both pairs I have were right about $30 and they’re really nice.

I also have the 5” shorts from 90 Degrees by Reflex on Amazon. I want to try their full length leggings because they’d hopefully be like the shorts, which are great.

If you have Prime, I really like these from a company called Dear Sparkle.

If you like the align leggings, there’s a dupe for them on amazon. W2C. They’re not the same material as the aligns (I’m pretty sure I read LuluLemon patented that material) but they’re pretty close. I wear them to work instead of my aligns so I don’t ruin them as quick. For reference, I’m usually a size 4 in LLL normal leggings and a 2 in their aligns, I get these in an XSmall
