Found a great pair of knockoffs on Amazon - all the knockoffs seem to have an additional bar welded horizontally across the top of the frames, but I was able to pop it off with a pair of pliers since they're cheap.

Looks pretty similar to the one you have on your link and around the same price range or cheaper. They do have a ton of reviews (and almost close to 4 stars) so am assuming they are made of good quality.

Personally, I do not think the brand for aviators are that important since you cannot really tell anyway. There just isn't much real estate there for branding or the logo. Hope this helps...

Don't know exact lense height but width is 56mm if that helps. I have them and Ray Ban wayfarers I got in 2013 and these are a little smaller.

$15 for 3 polarized sunglasses. I use these as beaters I don't care about loosing at day drinking events, hiking, beaches, etc. Used to use the Kirkland ones that someone else mentioned and those are definitely nicer, but also $20 for a single pair, so after loosing those I've been using these for 2.5 years. Actually just got my 2nd set of 3, lost 2 of first and a lense of the bright colored ones popped out and I lost it, surprisingly sunglasses are no good with only one lense.

I bought a few of these in various colors and have been really happy with them. The Wayfarer style is great on lots of different faces and unlike most cheap sunglasses these are polarized. Definitely a great buy.

It's simple. First I strip completely naked because otherwise I sweat too much (also good so that if my mom comes in my room to tell me to wash the dishes she will run away and not bother me lol). Then I put on my Vayne glasses and my Vayne Cape and I queue up. During queue I practice my tumbles in the room while repeating I am the best everyone else is trash. Another person looking to better their fashion sense, so I figured this was the place to ask a couple questions.

I'm in need of a new pair of sunglasses and picked up some wayfarers during Amazon's Prime Day. Basically, do wayfarers fit my face, and thoughts on the ebony and bamboo temples (I'm feeling ebony, but not against the bamboo either, may keep both). Here's a picture of the glasses on my face: marked 1 in the picture is the ebony, 2 the bamboo, 3 is my current glasses much beaten up for reference, and 4 is a pair of Vans my wife wears included for fun.

Next, is just any critique of a couple outfits I put together to see if I'm doing alright or I'm crazy.

First, is a casual/business casual (I feel at least) outfit I wore to a tech conference. Excuse the lack of enthusiasm, it was hot and I was drained by the end of the day. Jacket is a grey with a slight tan hint to it (bone, maybe?), shirt you can see (wasn't sure about untucked, but I went with it), black jeans, and shoes are Vans Ludlows.

Second, is a poor picture from a wedding. Same jacket with the matching pants, plum shirt, plaid tie, and casual shoes. In general, I think the break of the pants are a bit too much, and dressier shoes might have been a better choice but these were comfortable for the all day affair. Here's some better pictures (here and here) of the shirt/tie/pocket square to show color. Read somewhere on here pocket squares should contrast the tie.

I'm digging these. Really solid spring hinges, good polarization. Handles feel a little light/flimsy, but I don't mind it since I prefer lightweight sunglasses. They're maybe a little dark for my tastes, so visibility in mixed conditions is less than ideal, but they're great for bluebird sunny conditions.

That'll be the black shield part, and then I might just use a dremel tool on some polarized silver sunglass lenses to get the eyes. I'm still keeping an eye out for semi-opaque white fabric, but for now, my set-up will probably get me the most visibility when wearing the helmet.

Update: I got a pair from here and used them at Electric Zoo this past weekend!!


They were super clear and not overwhelming at all! I kept them on for most of my night and didn't have a headache but loved the hearts. Definitely not the most intense hearts when you try them before sunset though, but great for a night set with lights!

My only complaint was that the design of the frames are pretty dorky/boxy but who cares, the hearts were beautiful :)

Interesting note: They did have the website "plurvision.com" printed on the bag when they arrived, even though the Amazon seller is listed as iHeartRaves/EmazingLights. The frames are black and unmarked though :)

I got three of them for $15 that look like Rayband Wayfarers. They also came with a strap and a nice cloth bag for each of them. A lot of different variations with the options too, here is a link to it.

I know you were probably just using the sunglass thing as an example but here are some really cheap polarized sunglasses on amazon. I bought a pair of these a year ago and they hold up great and look great (I got the matte black version and they look like generic wayfarers). The only thing I can see people being weird about is the chrome "Cheaters" that's on the side but you can always pop it off with a screwdriver if it really bothers you or spray paint over it.
