$295 is a ridiculous amount to pay for Wayfarers... Their suggested retail price may be that much, but their street price is far lower.

For example, Amazon regularly sells them for <80$. Here

Granted, that is the USA Amazon website, but they will still ship internationally. While shipping and applicable taxes/duties/customs are annoying, they will be a far better deal than what you got at Sunglass Hut.

That said, you should probably see if your warranty covers the problems with the sunglasses. Best of luck.

I can vouch for this other pair of Clubmaster knockoffs They're polarized, at the same quality level as the video review OP posted, and only $5.56 shipped. All it took to find them was sifting through the Amazon reviews for about 20 minutes, and I'm super happy with the glasses.

At this point, I don't see why I'd pay twice that to buy from Oldley, when I could get two for the price of one which would give me an error margin for a dud pair. What we really should do is have a cheapo glasses review page where FMF'ers can review in detail the quality of glasses like the one /u/ZackMorris78 linked to and the one I posted above.

I have had a pair of the ones in the first link for close to a year and they've held up very well. Meanwhile, I have crunched more than one very expensive pairs of glasses. I figure that even if I break 5 pairs, it's still less than buying a full priced pair.

Love that look. I've worn a lot of defraction glasses in my time going to shows, as I'll always think they're cool, but sometimes when people hand me a pair, I'll put them on just to humor them.

But then I had a buddy give me these, and I passed initially, but he insisted. If you're looking to step up your glasses game, I can't recommend these enough.

Someone I know bought a pair of these, not because she believed they would give her "HD Vision" (whatever the hell that means), but because they fit over her glasses and played nicely with peripheral vision. They were also dirt cheap.

I got sunglasses frames (since they were more stylish than the prescription options I found), then took them to the eye doctor's place and had the lenses replaced with prescription ones. Link to the ones I got.

Do sunglasses count? I sat on my last pair with heart shaped frames and wanted to cry. I like sunglasses, they protect my super sensitive eyes.

Amazon has Wayfarers right around the $100 mark shipped directly from Ray-Ban (or $85 if you like the tortoiseshell/brown colorway). Some 3rd-party retailers on there, too, but I'd be wary of fakes, personally.

Also, eBay deals almost always has a deal on authentic R-Bs.

First off, just be aware that those can be had for half the price on Amazon or other places.

Is there any reason you want the Tom Ford ones in particular? You can get polarized Ray Ban Clubmasters for half of Amazon's Tom Ford price.

With both of those options you're really just paying for the name. Probably better off with a pair of Persol PO3132S or something if you like the Clubmaster style. If you're seriously willing to spend $400 on a pair of sunglasses you should be doing some more research and buying from a smaller, handmade company.
