I personally use:
RavPower 23000 mah
QI-Infinity Cable Dc Cable
However, the QI -Infinity 35000mah Includes the above cable and a larger battery pack that supports QC 3.0, and the included rapid charge can also charge a surface pro if you purchase another accessory cable. I am debating selling mine, to get the Qi-infinity version.

You could do this: USC-C to Surface Connect Dongle

Or get something like the PowerAdd battery pack I linked above and this Surface Connect-to-barrel dongle.

u/josh3258 · 3 pointsr/techsupport

Sata to USB with a external power supply since that is a 3.5 hard drive.

This one on Amazon would work

u/overzeetop · 3 pointsr/Surface

Any laptop external battery that puts out between 12 and 16V and has a 5.5mm barrel connector can be used with a charging cable like this one to charge on the go. I don't leave the office without a spare battery because my SP4 battery/sleep is so dodgy these days.

u/xelf · 3 pointsr/webos

If you buy one of these, make sure you get the touchstone dock as well. The "grab and go" aspect to having an inductive charger that works even if you have it in a leather case is incredibly convenient. I'm honestly thinking about getting a second one, one for work, one for home.

u/gimmebackmyracecar · 3 pointsr/Nikon

Nikon makes an AC adapter but it is kind of spendy. I used this one which worked great. Definitely a must-have for astro, especially if you're going to use a Camranger (I am selling my Camranger if you need one, just sold my D810 ): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A98VZPW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/LevAndropov · 3 pointsr/Roku

I power mine via the USB on my audio receiver so that, when the receiver is turned off or goes to sleep, the Roku is turned off as well; this will also work for most TVs. You can use one of these.

u/DogeMichael · 3 pointsr/Surface

Nope. The SP1 with Battery Cover lasts about as long as SP3 with Type Cover, but is twice as thick and probably about twice as heavy. It's just not a necessity anymore.

For those who want extra power on the go, I'd see about finding a multi-connector external battery that has a Surface power connector. Like so: http://www.amazon.com/ElementDigital-Charger-Adapter-Microsoft-Surface/dp/B00I1AZWEK

pi zero - $5.00

pins - $8.95

wifi adapter* - $13.33

right angle USB ports - $5.64

USB battery - $3.99

micro-mini usb cable - $2.89

Total: $39.80

*I used an Alfa AWUSO36NH but the TP-LINK TL-WN722N should work. More information on compatible network adapters here.

The optional Illuminated LED shutdown switch makes this device easier to use but costs an additional $16.99

About

PirateBox software runs on inexpensive hardware to connect users over an offline wifi network. Join it and your browser redirects to a simple interface where you can share files, chat, and stream video.

Pifm is a small program you can install in a Raspberry Pi PirateBox, aka “pi(rate)box.” It can broadcast on FM radio to inform potential users about the PirateBox wifi network, play uploaded music, and with a USB microphone Pifm lets you talk live to your audience.

Improvements

The first version of this project was well received so I'm back to share design and documentation improvements. Pi(rate)FM Zero is now fully self contained. It turns on and off with a button press and can automatically broadcast information about the wifi network over empty FM stations at user defined intervals.

Why not use a car/smartphone FM trasmitter?

You totally could. It might even be better in some situations if you don't mind a slightly larger, more expensive device with an extra battery to charge. Keep in mind you'd lose the ability to live broadcast with a microphone or play audio directly from the PirateBox.

Going forward

In my next version I'd like to improve the PirateBox interface and make a way for users to rate playlists while having Pifm automatically play the highest ranked tracks. Users could upload music and vote on which tracks gets played. It'd be your own personal short range interactive digital-analog radio station hosted on a private intranet.

Bonus**

Here's a .img file for your convenience. Just install it to an SD card (at least 4 gb) and run it in a Pi Zero to get started. Note: auto broadcast on FM isn't enabled by default so you'll need to add a cronjob as detailed in the guide if you want to activate this feature.

I bought a used Surface Book that didn't come with a charger. It is this one: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Microsoft-Aaweal-Charging-Including/dp/B074X6KZL4/

Reviews were better when I bought it, but so far I am happy. I actually bought two of them back in November (one for my laptop bag, one for my office). I haven't had any trouble. It seems to have all the same pros and cons of my Microsoft Surface Pro 1 adapter. I do like that it came with the travel pouch.

Isn't the charger it comes with only 1.5A? This one boasts fast charging: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IP8IBYG/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_1v-Xtb15XE5C1?tag=androidcentral00-20&m1k=vb_ac

Also, the first time I charged my phone it took forever. 2nd and subsequent charges went surprisingly faster.

Buy a dummy battery, wire it to a 12v to 7.5v-9v step down converter and a cigarette lighter plug on the other end. For my D5300 I use this, this & this

You need to find a matching battery type for your model.

u/rootchino · 2 pointsr/asmr

You're in luck V! There is an A/C Adapter available, Nikon did it kinda weird and didn't include a simple power port on the camera so you need two items. The first is an adapter that looks like your normal battery pack but has a cord off of it and the second is the actual power cord you plug into the wall. Connect those two together and you can record until the next ice age! I've double checked, both of these items are compatible with your model so you're good to go. $62 and free shipping sure beats buying a new camera! :)

Adapter:

Power Cord:
http://www.amazon.com/HANKEN-EH-5A-Adapter-Charger-Cameras/dp/B0058OGZIY/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_0

You also might want to throw in a larger SD card to give you more recording time, not sure what you have now but it has to be pretty small to only give you 20mins. This 16GB card should give you close to 4 hours and is only $13:

Sadly, since EOS M RAW video is a [third party firmware modification] (http://builds.magiclantern.fm/#/), Canon doesn't publish battery life information for this mode.

That said, battery life can be a challenge with the EOS M. One solution might be a [~$40 (plus postage) external battery grip] (http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/metrix/item/pwbtneos/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en).

Another, less expensive, option might be a [$15.50 AC adapter] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A8O6P7U/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00A8O6P7U&linkCode=as2&tag=battleforthew-20).

Again, hope this is helpful!

Is there a way to find the UL or CE cert for the Microsoft OEM brand power supply on Amazon? I don't see it here:

https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Surface-Power-Supply-65W/dp/B01698T1TC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1517609934&sr=8-3&keywords=surface+power+supply+microsoft

Don't see it for the AAweal either:
https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Microsoft-Surface-Charging-Including/dp/B074X6KZL4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1517609900&sr=8-2&keywords=aaweal

AFAIK, a UL or CE number does not seem to be a required field for the charger/power supply product type on Amazon. I suppose customers can always take the extra step to look up the vendor in databases:

UL: http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.html?_ga=2.37917155.1535435633.1517610058-863016551.1517610058

The lg-wcp-300 charger: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/accessory?accessoryId=59904&action=accessoryDetails

an external battery pack(cause the n4 battery isnt great): http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054VNHSW

and a nice protective case to prevent fall damage.

Enjoy the new phone!

u/ieatacid · 1 pointr/3Dprinting

I used to use one of these, but now I just leave it on.

u/exophrine · 1 pointr/RetroPie

I never used one before the past few weeks either, and I'm never looking back. The buttons feel great, the Pi responds immediately...my only complaint is that the 1 and 2 shoulder buttons on both sides are a little too close, but that's negligible, you get used to it quick.

Here are my RetroPie details:

I've been researching this for the past week or so. I really would like to purchase the Energizer Power Pack XP18000, which can charge a laptop along with your cellphone, it's a bit too much for what I want at the moment.

I'm going to settle with the Anker slimtalk 3200mAh. I'm choosing this over others because it uses microUSB to charge (no need for another charger or cable) and it has a short microUSB cable attached to it (no need to carry a cable around).

Also DailySteals deal of the day currently is a 5,000 mAh power pack. It's labeled by a company called Vaas, but it looks like the same one as the NewTrent and the one sold on DealExtreme.

u/MelvinOnLine · 1 pointr/Surface

I had my Surface Pro power supply fail on me in a similar way.

Look around for a cheap power supply (brick) online. Cheaper then getting a new Surface or buying the Dock.

Not an endorsement, but here is something on Amazon:

So guess what? This Apple charger works! This charger does not. Despite the fact that one of the reviews says it works with an LG Gram 15". I haven't checked the charge rate carefully vs the stock charger but it's charging at a pretty good clip.

So I'm pretty happy. This is for traveling. With a backpack. A 2.1 lb laptop which can share a charger. Nice...

u/XSSpants · 1 pointr/thinkpad

https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Desktop-Notebook-Technology-Macbook/dp/B01F8LZ3SO

10W usb-a with a a->c cable will be more than enough for the nexus. 15W is only for fast charge.

u/morawn · 1 pointr/technology

Damn, that is expensive!

I have one of these for my HP Touchpad. Got it on sale for like $20. Works great, so the technology must be improving quickly.

u/psyche77 · 1 pointr/Surface

I have the v2 34.2Ah model and have had no problems except for the cable (see below).

> an identical port for both input and output via a DC Barrel Jack plug

On the Amazon page for the Upgraded 35,000 mAh Powerbank it shows separate jacks for DC in and out, as well as USB 5v in.

>Can the V3 QI Infinity powerbank charge the Microsoft surface book while it is in use or only while it while it is off?

Both. Depending on SB usage, might be slow/barely keeping up while in use.

>How is the physical connection to the surface book?

Looks like they are now including the cable. If not, a third-party SP3/4/SB cable works fine. They have also upgraded their cable, the old one was flakey and over-priced. In any case, plug the Surface connector in before connecting to the power bank.

>What is the total power output capability of the V3 Infinity charger? Can it charge the Surface book, a tablet and a phone simultaneously?

Not sure what the total output watts are. Yes, simultaneous use would slow down multiple charging. I get about 2+ charges on my SP3.

u/zipzupdup · 1 pointr/videography

A question before I start; will you be using an editor to sync things up in post or would you rather take things together(audio and video) and have them all sorted out at one time?

Here's a list of things that I think would be beneficial, but not an encompassing list. If you're trying to go for a cheap list that could still get the job done, I find that these items have decent reviews on Amazon and websites and they do offer a good starting point for a budget.

  1. The Camera: Canon EOS M2 ($250)

I feel like the Canon EOS M2 would be a strong contender. It is actually a mirrorless camera that has the same sensor as that of the more expensive T3i. Due to it's lack of popularity with photographers due to the slower autofocus, it has seen multiple price reductions. Although it contains autofocusing issues in the photography modes, it's video modes are what really helps this camera out. You have a good starting lens with an 18-55mm lens, which may be wide enough for that room at 18, but it could even be close enough for a closer image. You can even be more technical and add in other features. Also this camera has a direct mic-in line for use of an external mic, like the shotgun mic below.

  2. The Audio: Zoom H1 Portable Audio Recorder $99 OR TAKSTAR SGC-598 $29.99

Audio is key here. You want to be able to hear the pastor as he gives sermons, so you have two general models. You can place the portable recorder closer to him, giving you crisp audio at a very minimal distance, or you can attach a shotgun microphone to the camera and pick it up from a distance further away. The only thing is, would you rather have the camera do it all for you or would you rather have to sync up the audio in editing? The Zoom mic is nice because you can purchase one of these ($21.38) and mic the pastor up before service to give a very crisp lapel audio.

  3. The SD Cards: Sandisk 64GB 80mb/s ($22.49)

    This should be a given.

  4. Power and Adapters: AC Adapter ($15.50) OR 2-Pack Spare Batteries($28.99)

You can choose to have it either plugged in the whole time during recording, or you can have it run off of batteries. Your personal preference.

  5. Tripod: AmazonBasics 60" tripod ($23.49)

You requested a tripod for the ease of use.

Given that you live in the US, after taxes, you're essentially looking at a $500 setup for all of that equipment. That may not be the best equipment for people or even be suggested by anyone else here, but that is just my $0.02.

Source: Use the EOS M1 and most of the gear listed.
u/katsumiblisk · 1 pointr/Surface

Yeah that's true but you lose something doing that. These things look pretty slick when plugged in correctly and dangling on a wire doesn't seem to quite cut it.

This one allows you to plug in the charger, although only one way.

u/fiver_ · 1 pointr/astrophotography

You could use a third-party AC adapter.
