I will never say no to tennis balls. All different kinds of balls:

I have sweaty hands in general, so I feel you. Aside from toweling off every so often, there are some other things you can try.

You can try using rosin powder. They come in bottles, or a convenient dispensable bag. It's basically a special powder designed to suck up your sweat and dry your hands.

I'm pretty sure they also make special grips for various controllers that have sweat-absorbent material.

Personally, what I do is I use a type of tennis wrap called Tourna Grip, and I wrap it around the grip areas of any controller I own. It's designed for tennis racquets is very sweat absorbent, but it can be used to wrap pretty much anything that will be in contact with your palms for an extended time.

Personally, I really like the way Xamsa does it. All the facts and figures are out in the open, prices are right.

You've asked for opinions and honestly your whole site kinda seems like a high school business class project. There's not a lot of actual info on the site, just a lot of soundbites that mimic what every other small squash startup says. There aren't very good photos of anything, the site layout is clearly a generic template only minimally filled out. No idea what continent you're located on. MSRP is wildly optimistic for what appears to be another generic version of a Carboflex.

Here's an established paddlesport company with the same thing.

Or if direct from China.

If you really want to get off the ground, I'd advise you to put effort into the webpage with more concrete info, like where you are. Get some of the people who are using the racquet to offer a review, preferably on video. Send out play-test samples to a third party who can give input.

I know how you feel, my big dog Tuesday seen here with a paczki on his head in celebration of mardi gras is getting to that age.

I also have my little boy Fenrir who just turned 3 this month.

last but not least, I have Star fox i found her wondering the streets a few weeks ago and I am trying to find a forever home for her. I was able to find her original owner who had given her to a guy who also gave her away to someone who let her go because she pooped on the floor.

all of my dogs are going to need some balls they can play with when we move to our new place WITH A YARD!!!!!

All you need is eyewear that has a rim on the top of the part that covers your eye.

Rave

Cheap and effective.

edit: I used to have these. They would fog up every point. Since I switched to a rimmed pair of glasses, I've never had this problem.

i picked up a basic gamma x-2 machine last summer. i think it was a nice investment, since it costs about $16 per restringing at my local shop, and i had to restring frequently since i played about 5 days a week during the summer. there's nothing really restricting you from restringing your own racquets, aside from an occasional bad string job. but that comes with the learning process. learning to restring will ultimately save you money in the long run.

My long-dog LOVES tennis balls, and despite being tiny, he too has some chompers (like normal toys are dead within the hour.) But these guys last us FOREVER and are super sturdy

> I generally play with a new set of balls any time i'm hitting with someone on my level, then throw them in my hopper after for practicing serves/ hitting with someone new to the sport.

I play mostly on clay courts... I just use the penn championship regular duty . I've found them at the local walmart for much cheaper than online.

I really want a bike. But that's too crazy a gift to ask for...so how about some [tennis balls!](
http://amzn.com/B0010FW782) I've been wanting to take tennis up again!

Like others said, Nylabones do the trick. Our BC would chew on hers for hours. She never chewed on anything else in the house that she wasn't supposed to. We also gave her a megalast chew toy that she really likes. We can play for a while and she could take chew breaks when she needed to. Since she chewed the ears, feet, and tail off, it looks llike a dildo now :/

Side note, Penn tennis balls have been the only ones she hasn't torn apart within a few days.

I have tried A LOT of goggles. All fogged. All basically sucked. Until I found this pair, and the are only $20. Highly recommend.

Its made of the same material as a tennis ball so its kinda hard and you cant kick it directly in his direction but it won't pop in an hour. dunno if u can get them cheaper

u/as_seen_on_bt · 1 pointr/PS4

I've used controller covers like these before and they're okay, but they add bulk and eventually lose their grip (even after being washed with soap and water). Also the one I linked (as well as similar products) decrease the range of motion for the analog sticks, so you will have to cut them up. In reality, I don't think there is a permanent grip solution for any controller, as any sort of cover will lose its effectiveness over time. This means you will have to replace them every so often.

With that said, your best long-term and cost effective option would be to buy some sort of grip tape. I use tourna grip, which isn't designed for controllers, but it works very well. Just know you will have to replace this tape when the grip starts to wear off. I replace mine every 5-6 weeks or so, but your case might be different depending on how often you play + how much you sweat.

The starter racquets are the "bent-frame" kind... just a straight piece of material formed into a head shape. Most of the time, those racquets end up bending and leaning to one side and are pretty much worthless. A midlevel head i.165 (http://www.racquetballwarehouse.com/descpage.html?PCODE=I165) or a used KM 750 (http://www.racquetballwarehouse.com/useddescpage.html?pcode=PK15750) or even a Gearbox GB50 (http://www.amazon.com/Gearbox-GB-50-Racquetball-Racquet/dp/B00GNMJ0UU?ie=UTF8&keywords=Gearbox%20racquetball&qid=1463611541&ref_=sr_1_12&sr=8-12) will be a million times better and will last you several years. I know A-level people that still play effectively with those racquets (minus the GB50, but that's still a solid starter racquet).

Bumming balls or using what's left after others play is doable if that's an option, or you can just go to walmart and pick up a can of anything (purple and ektelon fire (http://www.amazon.com/Ektelon-Fireball-Racquetballs-Red-ball/dp/B001E6L9XQ/ref=sr_1_5?s=racquet-sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1463611831&sr=1-5&keywords=ektelon+balls) tend to be the preferred tournament balls depending on where you live, but that might not matter to you).

As others have said, a cheap pair of safety glasses is a must, and decent ones simply aren't that expensive (http://www.amazon.com/Ektelon-Mirage-II-Racquetball-Eyewear/dp/B000ETVJSE/ref=sr_1_3?s=racquet-sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1463611766&sr=1-3&keywords=racquetball+glasses).

Honestly I would pick one of these up: http://www.amazon.com/Gamma-X-2-Tennis-Stringing-Machine/dp/B0007R8MHE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1459010806&sr=8-1&keywords=tennis+stringer

Learn how to string yourself and then when others in the area pop strings, charge $20 to string theirs. It will pay for itself

Those goggles are the best I've used and never have fogged up on me. I've seen others here suggest cheap construction safety glasses. If that works for you go for it as it is cheaper for sure but for me they alway fog and I play without which is stupid. I finally just bought these and they are amazing. Don't be dumb like me. Just skip to the finish line.
