I mean, is this a real toaster that I could purchase?

Or is it one of those cruel usability design school project teases?

Because that would be mean.

Edit: Found it.

u/TheTVDB · 59 pointsr/videos

Pretty easy to find fancy ones at least that price. It's likely they just use MSRP for everything, which will result in higher prices than what you'd see in most stores.

u/HooptyDooDooMeister · 46 pointsr/funny

Thanks! It's one of our favorite wedding presents. It's discontinued now, but here's an Amazon link for anyone wishing to track one down.

u/NothingHereKeepMovin · 19 pointsr/DumpsterDiving

I looked up more details about the toaster you found here Hard to tell if yours is creme or white? I gave you an upvote because it's a rather expensive toaster.

u/queenmother · 10 pointsr/bestof

If your going to put a toaster down I suggest it be a smeg toaster.

I'm not imaging the price on this toaster, right?
^^^^^^^.
Does it bake and slice the bread for you first?

The bagel setting turns one side per slot off.

E.g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZ729F6/

"Bagel setting - toasts the cut side, warms for the round side"

Do you mean that bun attachment thingy you put on the top?

u/LoveBeBrave · 3 pointsr/britishproblems

This is the best toaster I have ever used in my life (it was actually an older model, but I'd presume that the newer one would be even better.) Quite expensive, but there's a two slice version that's a bit cheaper

You are not the only one who thinks you should own the domo toaster because it would be awesome to toast your toast with.

u/NewDogOldDog · 2 pointsr/lewronggeneration

Dude you gotta find a long one slot toaster. Dash Clear View Toaster https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZGCKXUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_xSvTAbQH7QW57 like that

Hiii!! Good luck to you. I am (mostly) gluten free so I understand the pain. Here's my advice:

  • HOW gluten free do you need to be? I have friends who are celiac. They had to stop using the same soaps, shampoos, conditioners and the like. Just a word of caution.

  • If you are looking into gluten free food note that some manufacturers have things that have traces of gluten, I have a friend who has to call manufacturers whenever she goes to the store to make sure they've not changed their product.

  • I would avoid getting cookbooks with it for now. Why? There are tons of recipes online and easy and great books at your local library. A better way to be frugal!

  • You'll most definitely want some new things like a toaster and pots and pans. You had the 6 piece cooking set, but this cooking set here has 15 pieces and is (for now) less money

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017HYQ514?psc=1

You may need to replace your appliances. My friend had to get a new toaster set. Hamilton Beach has one for $20.

There's a wide variety of good, affordable items on Amazon if you look.

I am fine with any surprise :P

Black & Decker TO1412B 4-Slice Toaster Oven is a great item you should get. It's a little over $20, and I've got one myself. I love this thing. It makes it so much easier to make small things instead of going and turning the oven on and heating up the small apartment on summer days/nights. It is VERY convenient. Sorry to mods for linking an item, I already own this item and this is not what I want. Thank you for this contest. If you want an item to make food that won't heat up the small apartment, you should go for this. Using an oven all the time will make you very hot. I live in a small apartment as well.

You. I like you. I see these contests of yours and think about how awesome you are, and I love seeing people getting their wishes from them!

I never enter these, but I do happen to need some things these days.

The thing I need most that is of reasonable, yet unjustifiable, expense for me right now is a new toaster oven. It's in my "window shopping" list.

My running shoes also fell apart recently, but those are hella spendy.

We have fallen upon hard times. It's a long story. I'm doing freelance work, and my husband is working for a ridiculously low rate considering his experience. We were saving for the holidays, but we found out that the company he's working for will be closed for just before Christmas until after New Years', and he's contract, so he won't get any PTO. I don't know how the people who own that company sleep at night. Anyrate, it's no longer about what I'm going to cook or if we'll get any gifts this year: it's suddenly about how we're going to keep the lights on when we don't get half of his already skimpy paycheck. YAY! (We always muddle through, somehow, though.) Anyway, because we're in dire straits, now is the time everything has decided to break. Very inconvenient.

This one seems well reviewed and affordable.

Just make sure to plug it in beforehand 👌

u/insomniatica · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Here's one that has good reviews, comes in purple or grey, has extra wide slots, and has bagel and frozen and other settings

I suggest getting a wall decal! Theyre cheap and awesome. Like this one that's Dr Seuss, and inspirational... or this one that gives you areas to place pictures. But you can also get 3D butterflies and chalkboard sheets.

As for gift, what I'd really like is some new watercolors (either cakes or pencils) and I need more paper. Probably one of the mixed media visual journal booklets as they're the best bang for the buck. Or you can look thru my lists (sorted by price) to whatever your budget is and find something with a "high" or above ranking if you like.

Hope I helped!!

  1. I recommend this toaster from personal experience but unfortunately it's $60. :/ My mom has this toaster and swears by it, and it's only $40 though!

  2. As for stuff to hang... Ive got a lot of ideas because Ive been looking for me too!!! i love really interesting pieces like this and this. these are really cheap and popular around here (i think theyd be super adorable on the fridge!) I had chalkboard in my old office/kitchen and I loved it. This is kind of silly but Ive always wanted one, haha. You'll probably need a clock, too.

...sorry if i put too many. I love looking at this stuff. If thats cheating, feel free to only count the first haha

  3. Hard to pick an item without knowing price range! Haha

> Toasters? Not exaggerating much, are you?

You gotta get to the high end professional toasters. Anything less is for peasants.

u/nijoli · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This toatser has a setting for frozen bagels and that makes it my favorite. I love love keeping my bagels in the freezer because they last for so much longer. I buy a dozen at Panera, freeze them, and then have fresh tasting bagels every morning for weeks.

I love this "Now Showing" wall plaque for movie buffs. And I also love the home theatre sign!

I guess if I won this, and since rule 3 states to choose something, I would really, really want this $20 Coleman propane burner for camping.

u/fembecca · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I have this one and it's awesome. Can take a whole bagel, just in one slot, and has settings specific to frozen things and bagels.

Here's a great clock for the wall.

If I were to win, I'd ask that you pick something off Mr. Man's giftlist, at the bottom of my lists.

u/pilvy · 1 pointr/lifehacks

I was gonna say "it's really not.." then I noticed, it's £33/$50 to by from amazon in UK....but change the .co.uk to .com....Boom, £166/$253 toaster...

u/Stompedyourhousewith · 1 pointr/mildlyinteresting

someone needs to get on that cause i hate my uneven toasting toaster.

u/Omerz7 · 0 pointsr/pcmasterrace
