I do see deals on brand new game left and right, in the past few days I've picked up Doom and Dishonored 2 PC for massive discounts given their relative newness.

But I see same or similar discounts for console too, see here and here, the reason that we don't see those on here as often is because the vast majority of gamers on this subreddit are PC gamers. Not to mention, most of us prefer deals with more instant gratification, and often times a console sale involves having the disc shipped vs. digital download.

I would personally reccomend buying a bundle with a Black or White stratocaster, even though you get the rivals expansion with the Jaguar bundle, the jaguar is a peice of trash because it's impossible to activate starpower easily, and the whammy is terrible if you play with it inverted and use your pinky to whammy like I do.

Witcher 3 is on sale for $25 right now

Absolutely worth it at that price. Probably the best RPG I've ever played.

The season pass is $40 on Amazon so there really is no savings. I think the only difference is that you get the National Gaurd and Hazmat uniforms. I bought the gold edition because I played the Beta and really enjoyed it so figured id support the devs.

Personally, I went with the Digital Ultimate Edition months ago. Not for price, but to assure I get the Play Anywhere aspect. The Definitive Edition is a nice bonus now that it is coming out so early.

At the end of the day, however, I assume you are talking about the Disc version which lists as $67.99 USD. Thing is, if you ever want to play HW2 on PC, you'd then need to buy the digital copy as well. Pus the Digital edition has some other, admittedly smaller, benefits I'll list below.

In short, I suggest the Digital copy for these reasons.

1. Digital is the only way to get Play Anywhere access.
   
   
2. No discs are better IMO.
   
   
3. You have to download it anyways.
   
   
4. No shipping, plus you get to pre-load most of the time with digital purchases.
   
   However, you have to decide if these aspects are worth the extra ~$20.

Did you get the Band in a box? If it looks like the box shown here, it's the older Mad Catz version. There is an update for these drums from Mad Catz.

If it looks like the box seen here, it's the newer PDP set. These drums don't have an update.

What I'm saying is for example Far Cry 4 for PC on sale is $15 plus tax if you live in Washington like me, not on sale it's $30 (meaning you have to wait for it to go on sale if it's not before you buy). On Amazon it is $13.85 after shipping from users selling it which you don't need to wait for a sale for. Dark Souls 3 on sale for PC is $30, not on sale it's $60. On Amazon you can get it for $31.92 after shipping at any time without needing a sale. Also you actually own the game if you buy it off Amazon and can even resell whereas on PC you're just getting a license that has zero value after purchase.

I found the songs here and went the xbox store and was able to re download them one at a time. Not very convenient but at least I was able to get the songs back.
