Others have already said basically the same thing, but I'll add to the pile.

The GPD XD will be great for everything you want to do with the exception of Nintendo 3DS, PSVITA and Persona 4. An actual PS VITA can be had used for a little over $100. If you jailbreak it, you now have access to the entire VITA library + Persona 4 Golden and games up to and including the PS1 and Gameboy Advance, but Nintendo DS emulation isn't really viable due to a much slower CPU compared to the GPD, though I guess they're working on that. Still no 3ds.

If you want everything on one device in your pocket, you'll need a GPD Win 2, which is orders of magnitude more expensive. It's also powerful enough to run Citra (Nintendo 3ds emulator), a Playstation 2 emulator (Persona 4), All consoles up to and including Gamecube, and all but the most demanding of PC games. The only thing you'll really be lacking there is VITA games, as there aren't any viable VITA emulators out there yet that I'm aware of. (Vita3k looks promising. Not there yet though).

A laptop with performance on par with, or better than a Win 2 can be had for less than a Win 2 goes for, but it's not exactly pocket friendly. Still, this might be a viable way to go paired with a decent controller as long as you don't mind lugging it around. Some benefits too, such as a larger screen and better heat management on account of a larger device.

Want extra style points and be Cyberpunk AF? Pair a laptop with an Oculus GO standalone VR headset and a controller. Use Virtual Desktop to put yourself in a virtual space in front of a gigantic hovering display and play all your emulators that way. You are now officially a huge nerd, and have to tote around a bag to carry all this stuff with you, but the concept is undeniably cool.

Is your goal to use bluetooth headphones? If so you can use this device
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Receiver-Portable-Wireless-Calling/dp/B00NG78CJU/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1470668851&sr=1-3&keywords=aukey+bluetooth+transmitter
Basically you plug it into the audio jack of the XD & it will transmit the devices sound over bluetooth, so instead of connecting to the XD you connect to the Aukey.

On the other hand if your goal is to use a bluetooth controller or something of that nature you can simply buy an OTG cable for USB support and use a wireless usb controller off of amazon. Something like this for example http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G6CLY0G/ref=twister_B00GGGNHPM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

If you're adverse to getting a new controller, you'd just have to play with a wired PS3/PS4 controller through the OTG cable. On the other hand if you're an Xbox guy you can buy a wireless receiver for Xbox Controllers which you can plug in via OTG cable to the XD.

I didn't realize they were anything else colored blue. I am talking about this

https://www.amazon.com/mod-smart-Fujipoly-Extreme-Thermal/dp/B00ZSJR1ZK
It has a thermal transfer of 17w/mK The pads you're using right now are only rated for 1.7w/mK. The as5 are rated for 6w/mK and dropped my pch temps by ~30C for a 1.5mm thick piece.

Also how much space is there in that indent? If there's enough putting a copper shim would add even more benefit than any foam but if you have not even 1mm thermal foam would be best. The biggest thing you're doing is trying to move the heat off of the SOC. Since you're trying to move heat from the heatsink to the shell and give the heat more area to disperse a higher transfer rate will help. Now no pad is as good as a copper shim but if you don't have the space the artic pads are a good compromise.

I cut some the size of my pch and it's temps dropped from 80-90C to 45-55C. I had plenty of space so I went with 1.5mm thickness but the post you reference says there's only a 1mm gap so you gotta do what you gotta do.

P.S.
I may end up getting an XD+ from you modded once money becomes more plentiful.

Use this and it works great. It’s great to be able to charge both my phones and xd plus at once too.

I got a PS4 controller working wirelessly with it. And I'm sure a USB hub would work for multiplayer.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LTHBCNM?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title You're never going to find anything as convenient as plopping down a system in a dock to interchange like a Switch. Unless someone found the ultimate charging station, USB/Bluetooth hub, all-in-one dock for the GPD XD?

I haven't found a way to charge and external control at the same time. I looked. Closest thing is the hub, but that only let's you switch between OTG and charge, not both.

200GB and 256GB cards work in the XD - I use this one in my black 32GB unit without issue. It does take a bit longer to boot up with all the data I have on it (full ROMsets, scads of ISOs, a few Android games) but it does work well.

Have you tried Amazon? It's called Droidbox, basically the same. Just a different name. That's where I ordered mine.

You need a low latency device, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01EHSX28M/ref=psdcmw_10110414011_t1_B00P24XKS8

Note that it's Bluetooth 4.1 and advertised as low latency.

You can avoid the slowdown issue by not just buying the cheapest possible SD card (not accusing you, it's just been my experience that that is what most people do, buy the cheapest card in the size they want). There are newer, faster cards that are specifically designed for running apps off of...the newest ones are listed as "A1", but there are sufficiently fast cards before that standard was complete. I have a Samsung card that gets 60MB/s write speed (real world, not benchmark) in my phone, significantly faster than the internal eMMC storage will write.
