I use PS4 controllers hooked up with 10ft USB cables. I had bluetooth working but found there to be a slight bit of lag for me since I use an aluminum case, and I want all four ports free for controllers without using a bluetooth USB adapter.

I love the feel of the PS4 controller and the dpad is the best for retro games in my opinion. I also have a few Buffalo SNES usb controllers that work great but they can't map every button for PS1 and N64 like a PS4 controller can.

EDIT - Anyone looking for micro USB cables that are on sale right now, check out the ones I linked below. Anker makes great stuff and the braided cable itself doesn't get tangled or twisted as bad and is much more durable.

Yes it's the Bluetooth and USB version. I use it with a cable. If you want a cable recommendation this a really nice one that I bought as well , super durable and it's a nice color.

I would try Anker. I've bought 3 cables from them for my phone. They are durable and work fine.

I found out that the wired one on amazon is an old version of the controller that had a lot of issues as well as poor quality overall. It doesn't even have bluetooth. The wireless one is the new controller that fixed a lot of issues and build quality went up.

OP, try using the USB cable that came with your chromecast. If it can't reach your power brick, try plugging it into the USB port on your TV.

I have this one and it is sturdy and seems fit for the long haul. Great price too.

Edit: forgot to mention I have an S6 as well and it fast charges as long as I use the fast charging brick

Dual Shock 4 cable? Just get This. Or, alternatively, something similar. All the dualshock 4 cable is is a microusb (you can also use your phone charger cable if you have a non-apple device).
