This is the one I got, it was cheaper in 2016 when I got it, but I would even willingly pay this price for how useful it is:

Check this out!!

Super cool essential oil diffuser. I own one, and they look way better in person. It’s fun to just turn all lights off and stare into these things. Highly recommend!!

This is a scam.

then go to similar items. Batteries with chargers are ~$15 from a headshop. Empty carts ($11 for 10)

"smell strips" are the same as fragrance tester paddle strips ($10 for 100) at:

then go Wikipedia the info on each terpene....~$80 and you have it all now... in Vastly larger quantities than this BS for all equipment.

u/calpolyman · 4 pointsr/malefashionadvice

i got this one: https://www.amazon.com/Impression-Quality-Fragrance-Oils-Alternative/dp/B010647EJO/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1504635705&sr=1-5&keywords=creed+aventus

Smells awesome, not identical to creed's official version but damn close, the only issue is the oil's scent only lasts around 4 hours

u/queenbeluga · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Uhg, I have the worst time trying to get to sleep, I feel you. If your mattress is 8 years or older then I would probably upgrade. I got a memory foam mattress with a gel layer that has helped a lot. Here's an info dump of other things I've tried that have helped me over the years:

  • Make sure sheets are cotton and breathable.
  • Blackout curtains may be something to invest in.
  • Try not to check your phone after you lay down. In fact, try not to look at any screens within half an hour of going to bed (ereaders don't count).
  • Maybe start taking melatonin before bed (doesn't help me but helps my SO).
  • Buy an incense diffuser and some lavender essential oil.
  • Go to therapy and work out why your brain can't shut down at night (hello, me from the past).

Good luck, not being able to sleep is the worst.

Do you have a card? Or can get an amazon gift card?

Essential Oil Labs Natural Therapeutic Grade Fractionated Coconut Carrier Oil with Pump, 16 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EYTJNGY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_aoQiyb0SG0GFT

Got some last year. Works great for me and my girlfriend

u/PM_ME_UR_UFO_PICS · 3 pointsr/GiftIdeas

what about a gift card for a spa or nail salon? depends where you live but a standard manicure is usually around the $30-$60 range.
maybe a diffuser or himalayan salt lamp if she's into that kind of holistic stuff.
you could also get some fancy candles, a little body care gift set, or some nice bath stuff for her to do an at-home spa/relaxation day.

Fitness wise: Along with r/Fitness, I would definitely recommend trying out "Sweat: Kayla Itsines Fitness" app. She has a bunch of workout routines/programs on the app. The best part is that you can slowly build up from your own fitness level and get to your goal essentially. Her workouts are amazing and I personally love it. Also, Jillian Michaels has some bomb workout videos out there and they show amazing results as well (though it is a little harder!)... 30 Day Shred is one of the best ones out there for sculpting your body!

Hair: I definitely like what notfitperson recommended. I like leave coconut oil on my hair/scalp for at least 1 hour before washing my hair... and on weekends, to take care of my split ends, dehydration and encourage hair growth, I generously apply a homemade hair serum overnight and wash in the morning/later in the afternoon. If I used a lot of hot tools/styling products during the week, I'll keep on the hair serum for 1-2 days to repair the damages. For the hair serum, I like to make it with: rosemary oil, castor oil, peppermint oil, and organic coconut oil. Also, I apply Lush hair masks every 2-3 weeks. I love those ones because they are made from natural ingredients and I store them in the fridge. I even use the castor oil and coconut oil that I linked on my lashes every night before bed... if you do it religiously on both top and bottom lashes every night, you will have longer, fuller and healthier lashes! Castor oil is amazing for hair growth/repair, but it has a really thick consistency ... you gotta mix it with a light oil like coconut oil or olive oil!!!

Makeup:

If you have a limited budget, I would honestly hold off on getting luxury makeup right away and practice with drugstore brands first. Then upgrade!

Eyes/Brows:

I would get one neutral palette for everyday looks.

Brow pencils/gel/pomade ...ABH is the best out there, but the most expensive

Mascara: Better Than Sex by Too Faced is one of the best out there. A dupe that is comparable to that mascara that is cheaper and also a really good quality is the L'Oreal Paris mascara. It is amazing!

Lips:

Nude/pinkish lipstick for everyday looks - Dulce Vita by Nars is a popular one and it has a blue-ish undertone which helps your teeth appear whiter (bonus!)

Classic, matte red lipstick that is good for everyday, date night or special occasion looks - Cruella by Nars is bomb!!! It looks good on everyone! I have yet to meet someone who doesn't look good in it! Totally worth the investment!

Pencil lip liner - Definitely get this (in a color closely matching your lipstick color)... because it helps reduce the lipstick from bleeding onto somewhere around your lips and helps keep your lipstick stay put!

Lip gloss - Buxom, Milani L'Oreal and L.A. Colors have really great, high shine ones!

*Exfoliate your lips using sugar and Vaseline OR sugar and olive oil to remove the dead skin before applying any lipstick... especially matte lipsticks! It hydrates your lips and makes a huge difference + prevents the cracked lips with lipstick look ...cannot emphasize this enough! Also, before starting your makeup... apply Vaseline/chapstick on your lips and do your lips last.*

Well... I've sourced my oils from a lot of places, but a lot of them are from NOW Foods brand. I found a great starter pack on Amazon here. That variety pack has a lot of the oils I use the most.

u/gingersams · 2 pointsr/rheumatoid

My sister just got me this essential oil diffuser and a variety pack of oils for my birthday and I love it! It doesn't help me manage pain or anything, but I thought it was a really thoughtful gift and it does help me relax.

u/vapensk8n · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I am considering buying an essential oil diffuser ( ex: https://www.amazon.com/VicTsing-Essential-Diffuser-Humidifier-Office/dp/B01N7IZ4BZ/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1505082993&sr=8-9&keywords=essential+oil+diffusers ).

Maybe this would help mask the smell, Im hoping someone can answer this for both you and me.

u/bambooclad · 2 pointsr/wicked_edge

They're just inspired by and no where near the complexity of the real deal...

Not difficult to make your own too.

Some fragrance oil, perfumers alcohol, and some menthol crystals...

u/ahjoyc2 · 2 pointsr/wicked_edge

Tradewinds does have menthol in it. Yes, you can add your own menthol to any aftershave.

Reviving this thread because I actually found one and someone may see this later and benefit. One of the wonderful souls answering questions confirmed that the dial controls the power of the device and that it turns on when plugged in.

u/leisureolympiad · 2 pointsr/AirBnB

I have a tiny house in the middle of the woods and can deal with musty or soggy odor.

This sounds like hippie BS, but I use a diffuser with an oil called Thieves or 5 guards. It doesn't so much smell as removes odors from the air. If you do get a whiff of it it smells like cloves and not like a cleaning product or something trying to cover up a smell.

There is also something called ozium, which people use to remove the smell of cigarettes. It does have an odor but it dissipates quickly and also removes the odor as opposed to covering it up.

u/joeltb · 2 pointsr/BuyItForLife

I have the #1 Seller on Amazon and another one by the same company (InnoGear). They look nice and I've had no issues.

u/lilsquirrel · 2 pointsr/Indiemakeupandmore

Hmmm. I don't have any 10ml bottles to test the size in a 12 gauge ammo box, but I did find this essential oil box that maybe you could decorate to look however you want.

u/kissnsdt · 1 pointr/sex

They have other special lotions but I have found that coconut oil works just as well and is way cheaper

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EYTJNGY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_peBSAbTSF9ATQ

u/WhiskeyHeart · 1 pointr/migraine

I've had sinus and bad allergies in the past and cycled through most the rx and otc meds on the market. I know when my congestion is bad or I have a sinus infection, my migraine likelihood goes way up. I also the tried the neti wash routine (it made it worse for me personally). What has helped me though is adding a nighttime humidifier with this essential oil blend. An hour or so of sitting next to that gives me significantly better congestion relief than any rx, otc, or remedy I've ever tried. It's pricey but a little goes a long way. I personally think a bottle is going to last me like ~1 yr ish. After that I'll have to decide to reorder or just try and make my own copycat blend.

Teaching myself sinus/lymph drainage massage techniques has helped a bit too.

Check out smart sockets, like this WiFi one; I've seen them with wifi, Z-wave, Zigbee, ye-old X-10, even wired. You can plug in whatever bulb you want - even use a splitter, like /u/redroguetech said. And why stop at a 1-to-2 splitter? I found a 1-to-5 splitter, or even higher. If you're using a directional splitter like that, you can use some cheap floodlights, and still light up your garage like daylight!

u/jrmckins · 1 pointr/ifttt

My concern in longevity. The Phillips LED bulbs I've used last about the same as an incandescent; some as long as a CFL. No way I could afford the Hue if they don't last years. I need 6 bulbs just for my family room. . Light switch is not an option. I'm looking at something like this (at the right price): https://www.amazon.com/Converter-Assistant-Fixtures-Anywhere-Function/dp/B0797FJQCG/

I don't need fancy colors, etc. I just need on/off.

I have an air diffuser just like this, included with different color settings.

Radha Beauty is a very good brand. It is used widely around my school and it was listed as Amazon's choice on amazon.

I'm probably too late, but some ideas!

The mug is a cute idea, I love these "Surprise Mugs"

We don't know which country you or she is from, but it might be nice to get hers something small from her country (or something from your country that's super distinct if she's very excited about living there).

For instance, if she is from Germany, you could get her some Hanuta -- I know when I moved away from home, it was very comforting to get reminders from there.

Or if she's from Belgium, Stroopwafels might be nice to go with tea! Just something small that represents her home.

As for relaxation items (which seems to me to be one of your best options seeing as your ultimate goal is to help her relax, right?), I have a few:

Gong for her desk at work?

A zen "Desktop Garden?"

A Buddha Board for work?

A little desktop fountain?

A diffuser for at home (SUPER relaxing, but you'd also need essential oils)?

Or even a necklace diffuser?

Depends on the brand/setting/size, mine easily lasts overnight or for a full day of classes. Very “set it and forget it” and it’s ok with RAs/campus res

edit this is similar to the one I have

Here is what I went with after a little Amazon research but who knows if it's good:

It’s actually an oil diffuser that I’m just putting water in to try to up the humidity, but here’s the amazon link :)

We have been using an oil diffuser to vaporize the oil. Here is the model we have.

u/scientificLoser · 1 pointr/fragrance

I have something like this for my essential oil bottles but I'm sure it will fit several samples in each slot.

u/moondazed · 1 pointr/SleepApnea

Something similar happens to me when I have a cold or an allergy flair up, but it's not a regular occurrence. I don't like to take allergy medication because it makes me feel loopy so I got a cool mist diffuser and it's helped a lot. I've been struggling with congestion for a couple of weeks now and putting Olbas oil in the diffuser keeps things clearer. I love my machine and the humidifier works like a charm, but when I'm congested I have to take further steps if I want to avoid this kind of unpleasantness.

Is it possible that you have a sinus infection? I've been really lucky and not had that happen (knock on wood!) but a coworker isn't as fortunate and having air forced up his nose every night is not conducive to recovery! :)

u/ImAtWorkOkay · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

For 500ml, I have this one: InnoGear 500ml Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser Cool Mist Humidifier Waterless Auto Shut-off with 4 Timers and 7 LED Color Changing Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0181XCFKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_E-vczbFNS6X5A. It's not 'pretty' but you don't need to have it out all time :).

u/rollersnakes-twitch · 0 pointsr/essentialoils

Amazon has a great set of 10 and the price was just reduced to $35, they are all 1oz bottles and not the 10ml which you see overpriced in other sets. The brand is NOW, which I trust since they're one of the older brands out there. Since you're using them for migraines and essentially as aromatic medicine make sure you're getting a high quality oil. I'll link the set I just got as well as a video I found helpful when I first started. Also, the 10 set does come with jasmine which is NOT an EO since it would be ridiculously expensive, but it's one of the best value sets out there. Oh, and if you shop in Amazon I recommend the chrome install app called Honey, it instantly price compares all amazon products and alerts you when you can buy it for less.

PS: There is SO much disinformation out there, one of my friends is a naturopath and I cannot stress enough how important it is to get your information from a reputable source, ideally a doctor!!!
