I just upgraded the lights on my kawasaki, so I got all this worked out.

  • First, a reference for the bulbs your bike takes: https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle/2007-honda-vtx1300c-vehicle-led-lights?make=32&model=3563&year=2007
  • Front turn signals- I wanted to use my front signals as running lights, so I got these white/amber 1157 bulbs (it says it fits the 7528 sockets on your bike) and clear lenses. These will be white lights, then when you turn on the turn signal the white on that side goes out and blinks amber: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JC7233R/.
  • amber/amber 1157/7528 bulbs if you don't want white/amber: https://www.amazon.com/iBrightstar-Newest-Bright-Projector-replacement/dp/B071FB824J
  • clear/smoke turn signal lenses for your bike: optional, but I like the look: https://www.amazon.com/Krator-Signal-Lenses-Indicator-Blinkers/dp/B016N2H60A
  • Main headlight: I actually kept this halogen because H4 LED headlight bulbs were too expensive and I couldn't mount them in my headlight bucket without modification. This one's more than bright enough for me, I'm really happy with it. I don't feel like I'm blinding oncoming traffic with this one but the lowbeam is brighter than my high beam used to be. But if you still want to, look for an H4 LED bulb, but I don't recommend it. I'd rather replace the bucket if I went that route. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CR3UW6
  • Tail light bulb: red/red 1157 (says it fits 7528, your bike's size) LED bulb: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY4T4BU/
  • Rear turn signals: amber 1156 (says it fits the 7506 socket) LED: I actually didn't use these, for a reason I'll explain below. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0739RCR3J/
  • Turn Signal Relay: You may need this to fix a problem with the bulbs flashing really fast. The reason it does that is because it expects a certain power draw, but the LEDs draw less power, so it thinks a bulb is out. When that happens the turn signals flash really fast. This replacement relay is designed to fix that and the page says it aught to work on your bike. Installation on your bike should be easy: you have to find your stock turn signal relay, unplug it, and plug this one in. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RM26LXO
  • Some quick googling said the turn signal relay "Should be under the right side cover. The one in rubber with the plug in the "back" is the fuel relay the other one has a plug srait in the bottom, thats the one for the blinkers." I hope that makes sense when you get into the bike, check with VTX owner forums for more info.
  • All 4 turn signals lighting at once- this is something that happened with my bike, again because the power draw was different the bike didn't want to differentiate between left and right turn signals so both sides would light up. I found out if you leave at least one regular bulb in the system, it would behave normally and switch between left and right. That's why I didn't use LED rear turn signals- I can live without those being LEDs. The alternative solution I read was soldiering some resistors into the turn signal indicator circuit, which is above my technical capabilities/confidence. It's your call if you want to go that route, I'm happy enough with my setup (I actually uploaded the demo videos on the amazon page for the relay and white/amber LEDs so you can see how it behaves.)

For the fast/4-way flashing issues, I can't say if they will effect your bike. I have a feeling they will, and if they do you know how to address them. All in this upgrade runs about 90 bucks, minus 17 if you decide to stick with halogen rear turn signals.

Yes you are seeing white at the turn signal lights. When I am using side marker lights, low beams or high beams. Those turn signal lights will be white. But when I turn left, right, and hazard it will be back to amber.

Front turn signal LED lights(7444NA):
https://www.amazon.com/iBrightstar-Newest-Bright-Projector-Replacement/dp/B077P5CDSX/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523552526&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=ibrightstar%2Bx001Cy5ax1&th=1

Front head lights type: 9003/H4/HB2. If you want fog lights it is H8(H11/H8/H9):
https://www.amazon.com/LED-Headlight-Bulb-Conversion-Kit/dp/B075J8VQDX/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1521933924&sr=1-3-spons&keywords=h4+led&psc=1
DO NOT remove the original manufacture Dielectric Grease on the H4 socket. Unless you using some other brand of Dielectric Grease.

Side marker lights(2) has a bunch of names too. Type 194, T10, W5W(These are also the same lights for driver side(1), front passenger side(1), back passenger(1), trunk(1) and license plates lights(2)):
https://www.amazon.com/AUXITO-Chipsets-Replacement-Courtesy-License/dp/B071LHP5WP
So, this 10 pack you will be using 8 out of 10. Remember if it doesn't work turn it 180 degree.
https://imgur.com/a/gewfk

Back Reverse lights and back turn signal lights. Type 7443 you will have to get 2 of this. Making it 4 LED bulbs.
Not to worry that the LED is white for turn light. Because the back housing is RED. So White LED + RED = Bright Red. Be warn: We didn't use resistor front and back. So, we are getting hyper flashing.
https://www.amazon.com/iBrightstar-Newest-Projector-Replacement-Reverse/dp/B06XQWPKKX/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1523552407&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=ibrightstar%2Bx001mz3ma3&th=1

For the back lights, you will need to use the philip screw driver, the X kind. So, you can take out the housing and install the LEDs. The very top red part are turns on when you use Side markers, low beam and high beam. And those top red lights are LED already. So you don't have to change those. All you need to do is the White one and the bottom Red one for both side. So you need a total of 4 LED type 7443.

You might want to get trim tools. Unless you want to use a t-shirt and a flat head screw driver. But having trim tools can help you with wire management for heads up display and for dash cam wire. I do recommend the trim those thats 13pcs or 14pcs. Because that 1 or 2 extra tool with give you the option to pop those plugs under the front of the car if you are going to replace the fog lights(H8 according to the manual).

Other things we have:

If you are in the city the bulbs burn out faster because you have to keep pressing the brakes. Bulbs usually burn out when turning on.

- I have replaced all the bulbs in my dad's car with LED bulbs. Been over a year and they hasn't burned out, before I had to replace them for him every 2 weeks or so. (This is for Camry running as taxi)

For the brake lights and day lights, I have the Auxbeam 3157 LED Light Bulbs and Auxbeam 194

For the headlights I have the Auxbeam LED Headlights F-S2 Series H11

Very good bulbs. I also have them in the 2008 escape. But I just bought it like 2 weeks ago so we will see.

u/itskokoe · 2 pointsr/mazda3

I got them from a friend of mine so I'm unsure where he purchased them (he works at a local body shop in the area).

The bulbs are by "Cougar Motor" and I have size H11 which fit perfectly for my hatch.

My switchbacks are from Amazon and can be found here :

I think it was these: https://www.amazon.com/Signal-Yellow-Switchback-Projector-Standard/dp/B01M9CXY2U/ref=sr_1_5?crid=9HTDPPLMUK7Z&keywords=switchback+led+turn+signals&qid=1556728328&s=gateway&sprefix=switchback+led%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-5

I found two 8 ohm 25 watt resistors in my junk box, and connected them across the turn signals. They have been good for about 8 months or so. Do not hook them across the parking lamps. The resistors will overheat.

When you think about it, the standard lamp draws 1.8 - 2 amps. An 8 ohm resistor will draw about 1.8 amps, and the LED lamp draws about .3 amps. That is close enough. Most kits come with 6 ohm resistors. The 6 ohm resistors draw 2 amps. I do not see that being a problem because the total draw will be about 2.3 amps.

The blinkers are typically running a 50% duty cycle for about 1 minuet at a time. The resistors do not get very hot so you can just zip tye them to the harness.

Anyway, it makes no different how expensive the lamps are. If you have a newer jeep the "hyperflash" is simulated by the BCM.

Post your results. I am curious how well it works out for you.

I got these for the ambers. Still kickin since 2017. Can't say the same for the tag light or interiors tho.. Avoid big packs of cheap LEDs, they're just waiting to flicker.

Low Beam I'm quite happy with these although they don't really fit inside. You'll need something like this and optionally a pair of these to seal it up, but a lot of ppl don't.

Got a handful here and there but mostly aesthetic mods. I've got:

Bully Fuel Controller by GMan

Kuryakyn Hypercharger

Integrated Tail Light

Electronic Flasher

[Switchback Turn Signals] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076GLLS3T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)

I have a few more on my list to-do but I broke my hand so I'm off the bike for another 3 weeks ),:

If you're looking to change it up, I got these for my front turn signals. They're switchbacks so they're white when not signaling. They look awesome and are super bright. led switchbacks

The only problem is you have to wire in some resistors to stop hyperflashing, but the hardest part is pulling back the electrical tape on the connector to the headlight assembly.

u/MusicMotorsMountains · 1 pointr/XVcrosstrek

I upgraded to these:
https://smile.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Light-Bulbs-Reverse-signals/dp/B07414XVKT/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

They do a much better job than the stock reverse bulbs. I have a 2018 too, so these will fit yours.

u/scsibusfault · 1 pointr/hondashadow

Think that's gonna be a T10 bulb. Not sure if there's varying sizes within the T10 model, though. These look to be similarly sized, and cheap enough to give a shot.

There's a hint of blue with 10k but I like that. Switchbacks are dual colored directionals. When youre head lights are on the directionals are white like in the picture and when youre signaling they flash amber. I haven't touched the break lights but I did switch the rear parking bulb with an led so I can see more out of my rear camera.

Do you know if these would work? I've read it's 1156 in some places and PY21W in other places, not sure which bulbs will fit.

u/Maynard_Plumm · 0 pointsr/4Runner

I bought AuxBeam head lights and am pretty happy with them. Are there better lights avail? yes. Are these better than stock halogens. hell yes. NOTE: You don't need to drill through the dust cap for these. They're simple plug and play.

Auxbeam headlights

Auxbeam fog lights

u/SilentAcoustics · 0 pointsr/fordranger

They're alright. If you can afford to retrofit, I recommend doing that. Avoid any of the aftermarket lights that have projector lenses. They're all garbage from everything I have heard. The ones I got are nice because they fit the stock light (9007) and fit my pre-existing HID kit. I'm running 5000K Kensun HID's for my fog lights and my headlights (headlights are lo/hi). They're bright as hell but in Texas, it is illegal to run HID's without projector lenses and for good reason. (they spread across the road and are not controlled)

These are the headlights. They feel strong and solid but I had to return two passenger sides before I got one that worked properly. (the halo rings were not acting right).

The wiring was pretty straight forward. I wired my halo rings into the fog light's relay so they kick on with the driving lights.

Another neat little thing to get to complete the badass look are some switch back LED turn signals. I got these.

If you decide to get the switchbacks, don't forget to get the load resisters. Otherwise your turn signals will blink too fast.

Also, it doesn't look like a 98 because I have installed the 03 edge front-end and hood.

I will upload some night photos tonight. its hard to get the lighting right on my camera at night to where you can actually tell how they look. I'll do my best.
