I've purchased the floor and trunk mats from weather tech and love them. These don't look like the same custom fit, so it's likely to not be the 'better than OWM' quality I've come to expect. At the same time, seems like it would stop my kids kicking the shit out of my seats with dirty feet.

And while I was hesitant because they were so reasonably priced, I am blown away.
They fit like a glove, don't have any weird smells, stick to the seat so there is no sliding around and I can still feel the seat heaters through the leather. Honestly give these a try, you'd like em!

Edit: Some issues with this idea are the fact that most of these heat pads have 20 minute timers in them so you might need to keep resetting it (this might not be an issue with the pizza heater). Also the whole thermostat thing might be a little harder to implement. But with some knowledge of electronics they could be worked around.
I actually don't have any yet. I plan to buy these. They're waterproof and wipe clean, and they don't look like the ugly blanket type that passengers might be bothered by.

While it's not an actual replacement lid, this would cover up the existing gouge and protect from further damage. We have 2 2019s in our household and both have them. They fit well and match the interior reasonably well.

I wish they still made those mesh-and-coil seat covers from the '50s, that allowed air to circulate all around you.
They also used to make them with just the seat part, which you could use at a desk. Might look a little odd, but people have pillows and stuff to ease compression, so it would be fine.
Oh, hey, wait--there are some seat cushions that might help, providing air flow around your bum, in the car and at a desk.

I have this seat cover, these door covers, and this armrest cover.
The seat cover is slightly narrower than the back seat when the sides are zipped up, but it's nice and thick and seemingly durable. I ended up keeping the sides unzipped after getting another dog and needing to keep one of the seats dropped; hence the door covers. The armrest cover helps a lot when the dogs want to interact, especially the drooler.

I like the hard seat covers because they are water proof, have a shallow lip capable of retaining spilled fluids as well as a foot guard that drapes over the front of the seat. They keep dirt and crumbs from getting everywhere!
