(Part 3) Best building & construction toy figures according to redditors

I collect minifigures so I cobbled him together based on some pieces I already had. I like to make figures and switch them out on my dash from time to time, sometimes the back roads of the Mojave can get lonely. Here is what I used:

Shoulder armor Clipped this in half and colored with a Sharpie.

For the arm I just used what I had laying around and colored half of it, the head can be dealers choice. Most of these figures I either bought randomly in the mystery packs or bid/bought Lego "lots" from eBay. Hope this helps!

Lets talk about how this is utterly bunk. Being an old fashioned lego nerd I can tell the middle top image and top right image need to swapped, top right is a motorcycle cop from the late 80s - early 90s. Middle top image is police technician from a mid-90s police station sets. Bottom left is a slightly updated version of a motorcycle cop notice jump suit/gloves/sun glasses likely also from the mid-90s same as the middle top image. See how facial details is rather barebones with a simple smile typical of early - mid 90s. The creator are trying to use the helmet designs in a way that conveys they have become increasing militant, but put them in the wrong release order, as well as decontextualized why they look the way they do. They don't want the viewer to realize they are in fact looking at motorcycle cops which would have helmets.

I'm not familiar with the bottom middle figure it looks like a legit figure with a european style fire fighter helmet swap although I'm not 100% sure on that, it looks like something from the late 90s-early 2000s. Bottom right image, there is no way in hell that is a legit lego company creation. Lego has some strict policies against producing pro-war/modern warfare/aggressive type lego sets. Lego for most of it's history has remained a G-rated anti-war toy company only slowly venturing into producing fantasy violence, pirates/western/medieval in the last 30 years and later the popular culture sets, star wars/Indiana Jones/Harry Potter later on after dragging their feet for years for fear of producing pro-violence toys for children.

There are quite a bit of niche lego stuff made by third parties that I very much assure you the Lego company has probably sent them a cease and desist at least once in their lifetime for even mentioning the word lego in relation to their products. From the product description page:

They come with 3x4 flats to stand upon, so it would be simple to rotate that and the minifig 90 degrees to represent tappedness.

Cheapest item on my want list I have several more of these guys on there. But feel free to surprise me with something else too! A lot of the books an CD's will often have very cheap used copies. Im fine with used items :)

Damn. Those are way too expensive for me. I have debated on buying this one though.

Mainly sets from older Mega. I really wish I had gotten the Halo Mega Bloks Ultimate Combat Pack Definitely my number #1 missed set. Went from I think $50 or so, to $300+.

Mega Bloks Special Ops Task Force was another big one. I think it was $60, now $200+.

Lastly, really any of the Elephants from Mega Bloks. They’re still available, just out of what I’m willing to pay for a set. Had the same problem of pricing when they were released. They just make a super cool base for anything.

Oh, and basically everything from Series 5. I never found any of them in stores.

Here, you can pay thirteen bucks for a Lego C3PO with a red arm. That is all that is in this bag. Note it says three pieces - head, legs, and torso.
