I dont climb big walls because I'm a shy pooper and would lose my mind at the exposure...

I'd imagine ladies would use a She-Wee into a bottle... pack it out if they are rock conscious/eco friendly? We all squat to poop, store it in a Poop tube and pack it out at the end?

You could always buy a Luggable Loo for extra comfort.

Congratulations! If you roll your clothes it saves a lot of room. There are YouTube videos you can watch to save the most room for storage. You can get milk crates and stack with the opening facing you, then ziptie to hold together then get the fabric drawers to store things in. You could store food and toiletries on the bottom, clothes in the other level. You can buy this thin plasticstuff to put on the top so your stuff doesn't fall through the holes. For emergency potty issues, Amazon has https://www.amazon.com/Cleanwaste-Toilet-Bag-15-Pack-D415W15/dp/B07SC9JRNT these, best value I have found.

Although I think 6+ months is unlikely, but here is what I would do.

  • Cook
    • Over the fire
    • Make a fire over
    • Buy one for the house beforehand, currently in the worlds smallest house but want to build in the next couple years
  • Shower
    • Camp Shower
    • You can also make something like the camp shower using a 2L bottle or 2.
    • Good old boil water and add it to a tub
  • Wash Cloths
  • go to the toilet
    • This is a whole subject on its own. Hard to say just dig a hole because where does that hole go? How do you get your water? Will disposing of waste contaminate your water? Will it contaminate your neighbors? Making a septic tank is hard, but you might have to do it by hand.

One of the name brands is a shewee. I'm a guy so I don't really know how well they work.

So this is all going to depend wildly on your lease, but if the lease that both parties signed doesn't say anything about not being able to do laundry, he has no legal grounds to stand on in order to force you to not do laundry at your place.

Leases are beautiful things for renters - if the landlord tries to do stuff outside of the lease (raising rent, telling you to no do laundry), you have the legal right to tell him to fuck off. I absolutely would not give him any concessions that cause you harm just because he can't properly manage a rental property.

With all of that being said - if for some reason it is in the lease that you can't do laundry, go on amazon and order a portable washer like THIS and a clothesline that will allow you to still do laundry without having to go somewhere to do it. Hope this helps!

I love mine, the pStyle. It's the best design of the ones I looked at: (1) made of rigid plastic, so no bending & leaking at the edges like silicone, (2) all one piece of molded plastic, so no corners for leftover pee to hide in or pieces to keep up with, (3) long enough to direct the stream well away from your body, (4) appearance doesn't scream "pee funnel!!".

Just tuck it in your unzipped fly, pee, "scrape" forward to get drops off yourself, and rinse device clean with a little water. Shake it a couple times and all the water comes right off. I just store it in the little ziplock it came in, but it looks like there are optional carrying cases. It's so easy, I'm kind of mad I didn't have one earlier in my life! I keep mine by the back door so I can pee into my compost bin, and pack it when I'm going in the woods or to an event with a portapotty situation.

I've personally used these on several occasions. It sounds worse than it is. I've since added one to my car's emergency kit.

Amazon - it's called a SheWee. I haven't tried it yet but the reviews are great.

u/kikkles · 2 pointsr/Mommit

This has been my savior for hiking and travel. I think a child could use it just as easily. It lets you pee standing up and you only need to unzip your fly for access. No bags to deal with either.

Pro Tip: always good to have disposable emesis bag in your car, especially if you are frequently a DD in your own car. Good ones have a one way valve.

Jetsons

I think this is pretty unique, but useful!

Also, if you live in the city--pee in a jar and dump it on the pile! Don't want to end up on a sex offender list!

u/PolarbearSafari · 1 pointr/TooAfraidToAsk

I’m looking at this one because it includes a carrying case, and all the instructions I’ve read on FUDs say to either pull your underwear to the side or pull them down.

Have this combo...but separating the sink bowl from the post to use on a counter... great solution to gray water in my mind...not in practice as of yet

dude, get a couple of these and stash them in your car with TP. I've used them a few times on a rock trail in the wilderness where there's no place to dig a hole...these are gold!

NTA - That is disgusting. I'm sorry that you're having to train your own mother in regard to basic common sense.

If you do want to be the asshole to get your point across, I recommend getting one of these 5-gallon-bucket "potties". Bring it into the living room where she is sitting and take a dump. https://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Control-Corporation-Luggable-Portable/dp/B07XKJ8XNY/ref=pd_sbs_263_t_1/145-4076011-2925719?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07XKJ8XNY&pd_rd_r=da2449ac-159c-4523-a624-b62b5a2cc9ce&pd_rd_w=S36ld&pd_rd_wg=nCiM0&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=4VQ8VNBSBK5BW5VJZCB9&refRID=4VQ8VNBSBK5BW5VJZCB9

WAG BAGs make packing it out just fine.

If you are with a group, it will inevitably become a competition.

u/bingbing20 · 1 pointr/ElectricForest

invest in a P-mate so you don't have to sit on those nasty porta potty seats or squat. I was also in GA and far from the bathrooms so i just peed in water bottles at night. It was a lifesaver for me last year.. you will never know what you will find in the porta potties..

The Shewee!

I've heard of them and signed up for a free sample, but it never came :/

u/SunnySouthTexas · 1 pointr/vandwellers

Feel better, hon... I am cringing in your behalf.

I’ve considered pre-buying either the Poop Kit (for solids or liquids) or a 5-gallon bucket and some pine shavings (a la composting toilets) for just such emergencies.

u/travellingmonk · 1 pointr/CampingGear

Here's a 3 gallon jerry can.

https://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Products-Desert-Patrol-Container/dp/B000KA2LOS

4 gallon... but I'm not sure the shape is great for fitting into a pack.

https://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Products-Aqua-Tainer-Gallon-Container/dp/B000KA2LMU

2.5 gallon... might be easier to split between two people, and this shape may fit better in a pack. There's also a 5 gal version.

https://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Products-Aqua-Pak-Gallon-Container/dp/B0024O8JV2

I've considered getting the 5 gal Aqua Pak... I'm currently using two collapsible 5g ones and they're really hard to haul around camp being of a softer material, and I can't even fill them all the way.
