> has seen every specialist & doctor there is

Is she seeing specialists at a major university teaching hospital? The quality of care between different hospital systems can vary immensely, and there's a reason places like the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and the Cleveland Clinic get their outstanding reputations. If your local docs aren't cutting it, keep going up the food chain; sometimes patients need to travel to get to physicians who are specialized enough to provide the right diagnostics and care to treat their unique issues. I should add that even within "big name" medical centers, all doctors are not created equally, and sometimes patients still need to get a second opinion. As a patient advocate, my #1 message to patients is to keep trying until they find the doctor who solves their issue.

Edit: No need to answer these questions but: has your mother tried intravaginal premarin to help with vaginal dryness? Why is there still pain despite using lubrication? Is it possible they're not using the best type of lubrication for their needs (water based lubes dry up quickly, e.g.) or are using a lube that has ingredients that she's reactive to (for those not using condoms, plain olive oil can be used as lube to avoid reactivity as well as beneficially moisturizing the vulva)? Is there an issue with vulvodynia, perhaps? You've mentioned that dad can't get himself to climax by masturbation, but has there been any discussion of intimacy options for your parents that aren't PIV? Does dad reach climax from blowjobs or handjobs from mom? Have they brought any sex toys into the bedroom for mom's benefit or for mutual benefit? Perhaps one of the "couples" vibes that stimulates both partners during PIV intercourse might help? Is mom getting ample foreplay before penetration?

Another random thought would be to invest in some BZK wipes. These are sometimes used by people who need to intermittent self-catheterize themselves to urinate, as a means of cleaning bacteria away from the urethra before inserting the straight cath. It's possible it might help for both of your parents to use one to wipe their genital region (front to back of course) prior to sex. They may also want to consider using an alcohol based hand sanitizer to ensure their hands are clean and they aren't introducing bacteria by that route. (Fingernails are a common hiding place for bacteria, so they should be kept trimmed short and carefully cleaned under when handwashing.)

I would HIGHLY recommend not only having hand sanitizer but also having purell wipes: https://www.amazon.com/Purell-9022-10-Sanitizing-Individually-Wrapped/dp/B01N07VKTJ/

These really clean your hands much better than just the liquid stuff.

As someone who is currently struggling with the UTI that just won't quit, I have one piece of advice.

"Do as I say, not as I do."

UTI's are incredibly easy to get, and can be really annoying to get rid of. Boiling is good, specifically for about 10 minutes. (2 minutes is sufficient to kill almost anything, but that is what I did.)

Honestly you're unlikely to get a UTI from the insert itself. You are far more likely to get it via cross contamination. Let's face it, crotches aren't clean. Even if you bathe regularly, there is going to be some additional flora/ fauna living down there. And for the most part that's a good thing. The problem comes when you get it halfway to paradise unintentionally. It doesn't mater how sterile the tube is if your hands aren't sterile. What about the "Clean" surface of the table you're using to setup on? Did you just spend 10 minutes sterilizing your tube, then lay it on a "clean" piece of toilet paper? Did you clean the head of your dick with an alcohol swab?

So if you really want to avoid a UTI, here's the best way to do it.
Time to glove up Your hands aren't clean. It's really hard to get them clean, and once you do, it's really easy to get them dirty again. You want to do this right? Change gloves every time you touch anything new. Got an itch on your nose? New Gloves. Finished wiping down the counters? New gloves. Oh, and only touch the cuff of the glove. These things are only "Clean" until you get them dirty. And using your unclean, ungloved hand to align the "clean" glove on your other hand? Unclean.

MadaCide wipes These aren't for your dick, skin, or anything you're going to put in your body. This is for cleaning the environment around where you'll be playing. (No, Clorox wipes aren't enough. If they were they wouldn't say 99.9% of germs right on the label.)

Time to clean your dirty dirty dick New gloves, and wipe the head of your dick, there's stuff living there as well. BZK Wipes are also good for this

Open that single use packet of sterile lube. No, the raspberry flavored stuff from the local sex shop doesn't count. Cough up the money for the real stuff.

So if you've managed to do this right, and changed your gloves every time you touch anything, congratulations, you've managed a "Clean Field" session. This isn't the same as a "Sterile Field". You can still get an infection, you're just less likely to. You can't make a sterile field in your home, it's not possible.

That's the "Do as I say". The do as I do? Well, I typically wash my hands real well, wipe down everything with a BZK wipe and hope for the best. I've also had two UTIs in the last 6 months and have been sounding (shoving stuff in my pee hole) for almost 20 years.

The bottom line is, if you're not going to be able to go in to your doctor and say, "I have a UTI." Then deal with your Dr saying, "Well, we're going to test you for ever STD in the book, cause you're wrong, men never get UTIs." This is not something you need to explore.

I used these for all my ear piercings. Just apply like a compress for 5-10min.

Here's a comparison of two photos I took... the first one on Monday and the second one this afternoon. The daffodil seems as happy about Spring as I am!

With warmer weather comes more bees. I'd love to have these sting swabs to add to our first aid kit. (On my camping gear WL... under more buying choices).

Thanks!

I'd be worried about putting in some iso, but [these]( https://www.amazon.com/Dealmed-Alcohol-Swabsticks-Antiseptic-Swabs/dp/B01KY65YIW ) in a tiny baggy might be a good, portable equivalent. What would a joint smoker use them for, I thought those were for cleaning dab rigs, vapes, and pipes?

Eye drops I thought of, but you never know how someone will react to eye drops, so I figured it's best not to include them. Some flavored blunt wraps is a good idea, and the candy and gum are an awesome idea!

Got any movies you yourself would recommend?

I think simple is better, too much gear and you're going to lose it - remember you're getting stoned. Here's a pic of my daily carry (only a single mod & atomizer at a time):

https://imgur.com/oszMgdH

  1. Mod w/ atomizer.
  2. A silicone container that holds a day or two worth of dabs.
  3. My dabber - stored in a hollowed out pen casing to keep the sticky shit contained.
  4. Though not shown, sometimes I'll carry an alcohol wipe in the package - but I only wipe it down every other day or more so no longer carry them as often.

It's simple, easy carry, and discreet. I carried that gear into an office on a daily basis till I started working from home, and never had an issue.

Edit: I use these regularly enough to recommend for your device maintenance to get some alcohol wipes - useful for cleaning all kinds of stuff:

You're really close to winning. All you have to do now is convince me to buy your item over this item.

oops, I guess the right term is "alcohol prep pad": https://www.amazon.com/Dynarex-1113c-Sterile-Alcohol-Preparation/dp/B00VS4F91W/

(Actually they are exceptionally good for cleaning electronics and waaay cheaper than specialized cleaning wipes)

Sting Kill Swabs have benzocain, work great.

u/MormonMoron · 1 pointr/prusa3d

I use [the 99% IPA](https://www.amazon.com/Swan-Isopropyl-Alcohol-99-Percent/dp/B01B56ZSRC and these cotton pads on every print. I use two pads, one for wetting and one for drying. I probably replace the drying one every 2-4 prints and the wet one every 5-10 prints. I also press pretty hard. My rule of thumb is that if the Y-axis isn't moving, I am not pressing quite hard enough.

I never have prints that peel up with PLA using this technique.

I specifically said this product which is made to clean new piercings, it's the only thing that has ever worked for me. And it is an antiseptic :

The capsules work with the reducer (also used on the 'cano)

You could pick up a PLENTY Wear & Tear Set If you are apposed to cleaning it.

I clean mine by throwing everything in a large jar filled iso (Photo taken from FC user 'ChooChooCharlie') and letting everything but the silicone tube sections soak. I sometimes shake to agitate (the vape equivalent of dunking a tea bag. You don't need to but what else are you going to do while you wait)

Then use an old tooth brush to clean the plastic bits (doesn't take much to clean after the iso has broken down all the sticky stuff)

I do this deep cleaning every 60-90 days. If you want to get greedy you can let the iso evaporate and use the reclaim with the concentrate pad.

Every couple of days ill wipe down the screen with an iso wipe while it is warm.

S&B clearly know what they are doing with their designs when it comes to heat distribution, durability and the over all user experience.

The Plenty can take a beating and the fact there is no glass make it one of the most durable desktop vapes out there.
