I have a Hori silicon cover and bought some Xbox One thumbsticks off ebay, cut the thumbstick tops off them and glued them to the top of some Bluecell thumbstick covers. The Xbox Thumbstick glued to the Bluecell one will look like this. You're going to want to dremel out a little under the XB1 thumbstick so the plastic Bluecell cover fits more flush in there and doesn't make the joysticks on the vita too tall because otherwise it'll interfere with the d-pad and buttons. Once you're done you snap the new covers on top of the Vita's joysticks and you're done! The end result looks like this.

The total "mod" took me about 15 minutes.

You need a grip that handles front touch screen too. It's a little cheaper on Play Asia.

u/Dancing_Alpacas · 5 pointsr/vita

I have one from Hori (linked below). The Blue one is $5 cheaper on Amazon as well. It's the thinnest hard case I've had for the Vita. It has curves so the analog sticks don't get squished but there are no extra pouches or slots to hold games.
https://www.amazon.com/New-hard-pouch-PlayStationVita-BLACK/dp/B0166G4Z84/

I also got a Vita sock pouch with mine which is really thin of course, but I don't like it because it's not very protective and I felt like I damage the sticks every time I used to stick it in.

u/Carma-X · 4 pointsr/vita

So here is what i do... I have this (http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Carrying-Case/dp/B00006IL3C) case, and i figured out that if you hold the vita so that the two flaps are pointing down, and then plug in the charging cable into its slot, and then lay that one something, usually my chest, then you basically have a makeshift stand thing that completely saved my hands. It takes all the pressure of holding it away and just lets you basically hit buttons. If you have the case try it, and if you dont it might be cheaper than a grip!

u/snookers · 4 pointsr/vita

You'll have to print your own art, but there's some nice templates out there. Have them printed at an office store like FedEx or somewhere with a nicer printer than what you have at home if you like.

Then pick up some blank cases! https://www.amazon.com/Empty-Standard-Replacement-Boxes-Cases-Playstation/dp/B00B5JIHKU

I also bought the glass screen protectors for the front and back and put on there. It's much more enjoyable to play now with my giant fucking gorilla hands.

u/clee290 · 3 pointsr/vita

You can buy some empty game cases and then print the cover.

u/Diogo319 · 3 pointsr/vita

I use this. It came with the Starter Pack and holds 8 Vita games cards and 2 memory cards.

u/jbigboote · 3 pointsr/3DS

$30, actually

OP is getting it for $20 because he has a $10 credit.

u/chinakat · 3 pointsr/vita

Congrats! I hope you like it! As for accessories...

Get the Hori Screen Protector. It's the best screen protector I've used, goes on so easy with no bubbles, I believe it's a favorite of many in this sub.

For a case, I use the Hori Face Cover because I don't like to have to keep up with the case while I'm playing, since I play in public a lot. It kinda turns your Vita into a 3DS-like clamshell. Flip it open to play, and then close it shut for protection. It keeps the Vita slim so you can still fit it in your pocket, but not worry about protection.

If youre looking for a grip, I don't have a suggestion because I haven't found one I like yet. I have had multiple Nyko Power Grips that have come defective out of the box, so I don't buy anything from them. However, it seems lots of people here love that grip so YMMV.

Finally, I'd definitely recommend getting Playstation Plus. You can get 3 months for $17.99 or a year for $49.99. Basically every month they give you at least 2 free games on the Vita, but this month we got 5! If you get it before the first Tuesday in December you can get all 5 of those games for free. The 5 from this month are: The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Luftrausers, The Hungry Horde, Escape Plan, and SteamWorld Dig. If you own any other Sony consoles (PS4/PS3) there's even more incentive to get PS+ because you'll get free games on those systems as well. It's the same service that allows you to play online on the PS4 (but you don't need it to play online on the Vita). You can also get discounts on games through PS+. Keep in mind that once your subscription expires, you will not be able to play the free games, but any games you bought with the PS+ discount are yours forever. That said, if you were to renew PS+ later, you would get access to all the free games you had previously claimed. Through PS+ you also get access to a cloud to store your save files, so if you have a smaller memory card you can delete and re-download games as you want to play them. Even if you only have a Vita the service is more than worth it. I'd never have to buy a game again and it would give me plenty to play, and it's opened me up to genres I never knew I'd like.

If you do get PS+, or you prefer digital games, you may eventually need a bigger memory card. As of now the biggest available in North America is 32gb, but there is a 64gb available in Asia. No games or accessories for the Vita are region locked, meaning you can play games/use memory cards from other countries. The memory cards are pretty overpriced and a 64gb runs from around $80-100. You definitely don't have to have it, but it is an option.

Anyways! That's about it. That was really long, oh well. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

They do have a newer model here:

But I find grips ugly and unwieldy, would never use it. Fite me boys.

u/Ilyushin · 3 pointsr/vita

Never heard of anyone with said problem, makes me think it might have been damaged, less wear and tear, but if it bothers you, you can buy [rubber thumb sticks] (http://www.amazon.com/Enhanced-Thumb-Grips-Playstation-Vita-Sony/dp/B007U87E8Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1418134668&sr=8-2&keywords=vita+thumb) from amazon for jack shit, that would be your best option..

u/arcticfox00 · 3 pointsr/vita

I use one of [these cases.] I can fit one of those (could likely fit two), along with the Vita-USB cord, some earbuds, and the console itself, into the official Sony soft case.

u/AnimageCGF · 3 pointsr/vita

I have these:

https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Carrying-PlayStation-Accessories-Included/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1521750678&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=ps+vita+case&psc=1

I use the second one when I'm out of the house, it's slim and will hold 3 games. The first one is mostly for home storage as it keeps my charger and vita headphones in the top. I don't keep games in it, but holds enough. The slim one is a tank and packs well in my bag.

u/UltraWinstincts · 3 pointsr/vita

You’re gonna need a memory card if you’re gonna get games for your vita. It’s pricey but you can get them off of Amazon. Get the one that’s specifically by Sony like this :

PlayStation Vita Memory Card 64GB (PCH-Z641J) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F27JGVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gqgUDb7D65T2W

I’ve heard the vita won’t take in any other memory card that’s not by Sony.

In terms of games, i would recommend Persona 4 (JRPG), Fata Morgana (Visual Novel), Salt and Sanctuary (it’s like Dark Souls’s mechanics), Dangan Ronpa series (Visual Novel), The Nonary Games (Visual Novel + Puzzle/Mystery game. It’s like a game where you’re given puzzles and you figure it out), Dragon’s Crown (RPG)

Also may want a screen protector like this:

(Pack of 2) Screen Protector For PS Vita 1000, Akwox Premium HD Clear 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protective Film For Sony PlayStation Vita PSV 1000-Max Clarity And Touch Accuracy Film https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GYPB1HU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-wgUDbBY2JSF7

and if the vita feels too flat in your hand, you can get those grips that’s something like this:

Insten New Trigger Grips Hand Grip Compatible With PS Vita PSVita Playstation Vita 1000 (PCH-1000), black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CxgUDbS4D5R40

I ended up getting this one because I wanted one that could also hold the charging stuff. It works alright, though it's a snug fit to get the usb cable, ac cable, ac adapter, and game case all in the top compartment. Just keep the vita itself in the bottom compartment.

I use three things to protect my Vita: a case, screen protector, and silicone protector

u/rdjarvis · 2 pointsr/vita

This is the exact one I ordered for my Vitas. It’s a 2-pack. It also comes with 2 films for the rear of the device, but the rear films unlike the front are not tempered glass.

For a while I kept my Vita in a soft, slim slip case, just as I had for my PSP. But while the PSP would fit in my pocket when necessary, the Vita was a bit too bulky, and I'd be afraid of ruining the screen or the analog sticks.

Sure enough, I eventually got a small scratch on the screen so I put on a screen protector finally. Then I got a hard-shelled slim case so I can pocket it once again.

edit:

Here's the case I got (thanks to another Redditor posting it). It's simple, slim and protects it well. As others have said, it probably won't help much against big drops, but why the hell are you dropping it to begin with?! :)

http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Power-Armor-Vita-Sony-PS/dp/B008J16BAU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398184176&sr=8-1&keywords=vita+power+armor

Also, it has no storage for games, but as someone who has an all-digital collection, that doesn't bother me one bit.

u/Fluffy_Waffles · 2 pointsr/vita

IMO any case that is going to be used to protect the vita from drops and such is going to be a bit thicker than a case made to prevent scratches. If you want just a hard case I would check out this amazon case. What I would suggest doing tho is getting a carrying case like this and buying a rubber cover or a nice personalized skin. And of corse always use a screen protector.

While this case isn't a hard pouch, it is one of the slimmest case you can buy and your vita won't move around in it.

As others have said in the long run you would be better off with a 32GB card if you don't mind spending a little extra. As for recommendations, personally I like:

If your main use is streaming, here's some options:

If you have a TV at your bed and don't want to hog up the family TV, look into a [PSTV] (https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV/dp/B00KVMHSUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495405446&sr=8-1&keywords=pstv). Or, if you prefer portable and own a decent gaming PC, look into the NVIDIA SHIELD Portable. However, if none of these alternatives fit you, the PSVita with a cheap mem card and a remote play grip is your best bet.

u/Lightfooot · 2 pointsr/vita

I just got this one and I like it.

You can fit lots of games in and I like that theres a zip pouch for your charging cable too. Fit is nice and snug and the case seems rigid and protective enough.

u/xProtoZoax · 2 pointsr/vita

hey maybe you could check this case out http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-metallic-protection-Playstation-VITA-Cleaning/dp/B0078J0O34/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1416281991&sr=8-2&keywords=ps+vita+hard+case i have it on my vita and it feels pretty sturdy, i'm sure it could survive a fall in it and it comes in different colors! and you should also check this one out too http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-PlayStation-Vita-Officially-Sony-PS/dp/B00BI9MDSO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416281991&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita+hard+case both of these are for the ps vita 1000 though the OLED model, i haven't really seen many hard cases for the ps vita slim though. edit: i found this hard case for the ps vita 2000 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Hard-Guard-Protector-Cover-Case-for-Sony-PS-Vita2000-/360916978790?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5408540c66

u/Spanko321123 · 2 pointsr/vita

I have used many different types of grips over the 4 years I have owned mine. I've used everthing from one with trigger grips to one that looks like the steering wheel to the batmobile. It comes down to what your preference is. This is the one i use currently:
https://www.amazon.com/Insten-Trigger-Grips-Compatible-PSVita-Playstation/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1486641865&sr=8-7&keywords=ps+vita+hand+grip

It's very cheap but makes holding the unit comfortable for longer term play which is what I want.

This is in stock on Amazon right now too and I wonder if it's any good. Looks solid but I'm in the same boat kind of wanting the Hori grip.

And these game cases:

And this case to put on the Vita:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/KMD-Crystal-Case-Clear-PS-Vita-PS-Vita/21692780

The carrying case fits my Vita with the clear case on plus 3 of the game cases (just managed to fit the third case).

u/Nbanut23 · 2 pointsr/vita

Here is what I use. It's not the best but it's the only thing that I've found that can do the job.

u/stirwise · 2 pointsr/vita

I have this case and it does its job admirably. No room for anything but the Vita, but that makes it minimally bulky.

u/Suko_PSN · 2 pointsr/vita

I have 2 cases.

  • The Official PS Vita 2000 case which I absolutely love. It fits snugly on my Vita. Was a little hard to get used to putting it in the case, but the official one is my favorite.

  • The "Official" licensed vita case which has a nice soft interior lining, but I always worry about my analog stick getting pressed down all the time...

u/M3YARI · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

What about this one?

u/LOT7 · 2 pointsr/vita

I haven't really seen a card case without slots for a memory cards but, those slots are so small that they dont take up much space, what I have and recommend is this:

http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Card-Case/dp/B006JKARPS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451241762&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita+card+case

It's the official card case from sony and you can probably find one cheap on ebay. (I found mine for around $4) Another crazy idea if your dead set on having no memory card slots is to buy singles:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-lot-Black-Game-Cards-Storage-Case-Bag-for-Sony-PS-Vita/32247420812.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.194.ETLmB5&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_1,searchweb201644_3_79_78_77_82_80_62_81,searchweb201560_4

Maybe you could glue these together or store them all in a bag or something. Anyway sorry I couldn't be of any more help to you, good luck in searching.

u/Arsenic13 · 2 pointsr/vita

The Hori Skin looks very snug. Only downside is coverage of the PS button. I can fix that myself, though.

There's a tag on the back that says SHISHIKUIYA

u/mangaroo · 2 pointsr/vita

These ones really do, especially the one I'm trying with lots of dots. It's very thin and sleek btw, low profile but lots of grip. Blends in well - photo is at a dodgy angle and really close-up to show the spikes.

I've seen them quite a few places but I got mine from ebay - this exact seller.

Hopefully you won't need to import, they shouldn't be too hard to find. Amazon US has them but out of stock atm here. -- EDIT - Actually apparently these are too rigid now and not the same material, the 'bluecell' ones, link removed. These MIGHT be the right ones.

I think the seller used an old photo though that shows a pack of 6, should be 8 + 2 d-pad covers (not that great due to colliding with thumb when the left analog stick is pressed up). I've read some don't include the one with dots.

u/LaunchpadMacQ · 2 pointsr/vita

Case as in a carrying case or a cover?

I own a Hori hard case (P4G one), Hori clamshell (P4G one), and Hori silicon case. All Hori products are excellent. xD

u/forthisisme · 2 pointsr/vita

So here are a few options for you using amazon:

Sony Vault Case for 2000 model. Even though it says "Amazon Basics" it really is just the same vault case that was sold as the 1st party case with the Sony Logo on it. This one should have the logo too.

Sony PS Vita 1000 Carrying Case. First party but only for the 1000 model and kinda awkward.

Sony PS Vita Travel Pouch - 1000/2000 Models fit. I had the Japanese white version of this pouch. Good fit and plushiness.

There was also this Sony PS Vita hard case that was given out around launch and hard to find unless someone doesn't want theirs but for you, you never mentioned what model you have so I'd suggest the pouch as the most versatile.

u/Glowingtomato · 2 pointsr/vita

I use this one. It a little snug but fits in the back pocket of my jeans.

I bought this on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005WG2WRQ

And it's wonderful. It fits the Slim Vita like a glove and should fit the original vita as well. It has a very deep, concealed zipper pocket in the front so you can store your games or headphones. It's the Japanese Vita sleeve so it looks a little nicer than the ones you can find in North America (in my opinion at least, the Japanese one has a much bigger pouch and sleeker design.)

u/Unistic · 2 pointsr/deadbydaylight

I have two differebt grips. One that has l2/r2 on the front and back to help with what ever gane uses those touch screen sections.

Then another one that has an l2/r2 and l3/r3 all on the back.

I also brought some extenderds for the analog sticks cause i have big hands and they help with targeting in Destiny and other shooters.

Heres links to what I use:

Fyi: these grips work only for the ps vita slim versions.

u/QuietJackal · 2 pointsr/vita

It probably doesn't fit your criteria but I got this one and it works well enough.

Luckily I ended up with 2 of them since one got lost in the mail so they gave me a refund and shipped a new one then the original one showed up a few days later and they told me to keep it so I can use it for whatever.

u/The_dooster · 2 pointsr/killzonemercenary

These.

They come with four different thumb stick grips and two dpad grips. I chose the ones that were identical to x360 thumb sticks. Plus they made the thumb sticks concave instead of convex.

I've been using this Nyko case for two years now and it's very sturdy. It's a hard metal shell with some soft lining on the inside. I've used it for travel, kept it in my pocket, and dropped it, and it holds up well. The only drawbacks are you can't put any shells/covers on the Vita, and there's no space for anything else, just the handheld. I use Switch PowerA game cases for my games (almost the exact same size so they fit snugly).

u/Miserable_Fuck · 1 pointr/vita

PS+ if she she hasn't got an account and is just going to share yours. If not, then this might be nice. It felt wrong leaving my vita naked on a table. I love it.

u/Zeldoon · 1 pointr/vita

I use a Nyko case, it's super thin. So I can carry it in my pocket without having to worry about my Vita scratching. It's perfectly safe inside my backpack also. It's definitely not the most protective case if I dropped it(don't ever plan on dropping it though so it's okay).

u/Th4Freak · 1 pointr/vita
u/BleuberryCream · 1 pointr/vita

I don't. Even with my DS I keep my games at home with 1-2 on me if I take it out. I never saw the point in carrying more than 4 games (or your enjoy collection of games) with you each time you leave. My Vita largely has all the games I really really love to play already downloaded onto it (or at least a game that will scratch an itch).

I do have this case and it has 3 games in it and my 4GB memory card (that is wasting away...)

u/Fauxy · 1 pointr/vita

I have this grip I got in a cheap bundle on amazon. insten always has the deals on cheap accessories. It's decent for the price but not very sturdy at all. It feels like the partitions that go over the triggers could snap extremely easily. I only use the case when I know I'm going to be gaming for hours to keep my hands from cramping up. Still, that $7 deal op posted that comes with a charger is so tempting I might buy this all over again. If anyone is looking for a case with a little more protection, here's what I use most of the time: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0078J0O34/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i7fhAbJED38N4

u/jstonerr · 1 pointr/vita

I use this case as my daily case. It probably won't protect from a huge fall or anything, but its perfect for using in a bag or something like that. Also its not bulky, and it looks nice.

u/Gundato · 1 pointr/vita

As mentioned: Just have a case of some form.

Even if you get a screen protector, you should put it in the case since there are the buttons and what not.

I grabbed one of these http://smile.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Carrying-Case/dp/B00006IL3C/ and it is more than sufficient (and even fits the Vita with my grips on after a very minor mod that just involved cutting off the hooks). Front screen is protected, rear screen is protected, and the face is protected. Theoretically the L1 and R1 buttons are exposed (as is the side), but any other solution would require me to remove the grips which is more hassle than a few scratches are worth (in my eyes).

Mostly I just keep it in a drawer at my desk, but when traveling for more than a day at a time I just throw it in my backpack (in a compartment that is basically full of chargers and what not) and there is no damage at all, so it seems sufficient.

u/SlightlierDoor · 1 pointr/JRPG

>I only have so much space on my memory card.

you wouldn't even need to say this if they didn't charge out the ass for their proprietary memory cards. normal mini sd cards cost half the cost for twice the space literally. see plain here and Sony here.

u/charloalberto · 1 pointr/vita

i can totally relate. i don't have the guts to simply shove it in my pocket like every other gadget because of the dual sticks. this one seems to be the slimmiest ever. i've been eyeballing it for some time now, but have no money to buy it yet.

u/echobravoeffect · 1 pointr/vita

I can't guarantee that it will protect the screen during a drop since those are designed to take scratches. You can get one of these, dunno if they still have the 1000 version: http://www.amazon.com/HORI-Face-Cover-PlayStation-Vita-2000/dp/B00L6AVPWA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404630590&sr=8-1&keywords=hori+vita+shell

As for a screen protector, if you're in the US there are really cheap ones on ebay that are less than $5 if you want to save since any screen protector over $5 is a scam really, get more than one to practice with.

For most drops, one of the best protection are those silicone rubber cases since most of those can fit into most cases that are a bit loose. These can protect the sides which is often where the vita might land and will absorb the shock. These can be had cheap on ebay if you're willing to wait a week.

If you're extra worried about dropping it while you wait for the cases, get one of those wrist strap things you see on wiimotes/cameras. You can make your own even with paracord or shoe laces or lanyards.

edit: screen protectors that only cover the screen are both compatible with the 1000 and 2000 models. The ones that cover the entire face don't.

u/gardobus · 1 pointr/vita

I've read plenty of reviews/posts from people with the PDP trigger grip that don't really like it. Some say the triggers are mushy, some say that the case scratches the triggers, etc.

I picked up this cheapy from Amazon and I love it. I sometimes with it had longer handles like this CTA grip but at the same time, that would prevent it from fitting in side the case I use. That CTA one also blocks the charge port so long gaming sessions require removing the case or charge breaks.

I highly recommend the cheap grip, you can't really go wrong for <$5. The worst thing about it is that it isn't very grippy, otherwise it does it's job. Check out the reviews on Amazon too.

u/FagFaceFromSpace · 1 pointr/vita

Does somebody know a place in Europe or someone who ships the Cosmos Aluminium case to Denmark? (http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-metallic-protection-Playstation-VITA-Cleaning/dp/B0078J0O34), the seller on Amazon doesn´t ship to Denmark.

Or perhaps some other suggestions for covers, since my old cover just broke, which i am able to get shipped to Denmark.

u/taximan6430 · 1 pointr/vita

Well, out of your choices, I have both and would recommend neither. The pdp trigger grips have a very plastic feel and sound when clicking the triggers. Annoyed me day one, came off day two. The dreamgear comfort grips do not really give justice in pictures as to how large the back humps (bottom of vita in the back) are on that thing. They are massive and very rounded. Your Vita will not lay flat at all once you put it down, it will actually rock back and forth. I have bought all the grips for both the 1000 and slim model vita's. For the 1000 model I recommend this: Aweek® Bracket Handgrip Handle Grip Case for Playstation Vita 1000 PSVita PS Vita - Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MB53DQ0/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_1w8QybWSHQJJ8
For a slim model I gave up on trying to find a good grip as I always just return to a silicone case for it. Recommendation here: HORI Silicone Protector and Screen Filter Set for PlayStation Vita 2000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L6AVPLQ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_hA8Qyb7K16E0C

This grip is awesome. I have the same grip from this company (which is virtually the same) that would allow you to charge the Vita 1000 through a micro USB cable but that one is unavailable on Amazon.

I use the Hori Hard Pouch. It fits the Vita 1000 and 2000. It doesn't have a pouch inside that you can puts cables in nor does it have the partition that holds games, but it does have space inside the case so that nothing is pushing up against your analog sticks. This was a big concern for me and was something that I noticed appeared to occur with cases that did hold the Vita, cables, and games. The case has a hard outer shell but don't expect it to hold up if you apply a large amount of pressure to it if you, for example, step on it.

u/BogWizard · 1 pointr/NSCollectors

How are these Switch cartridge binders? I have read mixed reviews related to how securely they hold the cartridges. I've been contemplating getting one of these instead.

I have the screen protector on mine now, it's great. The case I use when I'm traveling so I can be sure it's almost completely damage proof.

u/deadhorses · 1 pointr/vita

I got this one from Target a few years back, and I can vouch for it. It doesn't add much bulk, and doesn't obscure the buttons at all, but finding one might be a little bit of a task (though I still see them at various Target/Gamestop locations). I haven't dropped my Vita more than a foot or two with it on, so I can't speak to how well it would absorb a shock, but it did protect it from scratches.

u/Debrezen · 1 pointr/NSCollectors

I use this to hold all of my cartridges and it works wonderfully without any potential for damage to the games. It’s a bit on the bigger side compared to what you are already using (though smaller than some other suggestions), but I think you’ll find your options extremely limiting as you go down in size sadly.

u/oby2 · 1 pointr/vita

Not smite but I experience that problem with a lot of games. You have a couple of options. You can pick up extended grips for the thumbsticks (mobile link). I put these on and have never taken them off. I find it impossible to play without them and makes a difference during remote play.

I had originally purchased these:
https://www.amazon.com/Enhanced-Thumb-Grips-Playstation-Vita-Sony/dp/B007U87E8Q

While they helped they were miles behind my current ones. It's all based on your preference and your wallet.

u/EpicBomberMan · 1 pointr/vita

Does it look more like this grip or this one? I'm not sure if I want a bigger or smaller grip, so if you like yours I'll probably get one that looks similar.

u/epicblob · 1 pointr/DestinyTheGame

You either need bigger sticks or smaller hands.

Check gaming accessory sites for stick caps. I found [these] ( http://www.amazon.com/Enhanced-Thumb-Grips-Playstation-Vita-Sony/dp/B007U87E8Q) on Amazon. Alternatively, amputate yourself and get bionic hands that are smaller than your current hands.

Hope this helps.

My favorite hobby is probably video games. Really enjoy anything done in a sandbox style, or one done in a metroidvania style. Technically they may be the same thing more or less, but I think the latter has more to do with opening up the world via finding powerups and whatnot. Not sure. Heh.

One of my favorite games of all time would likely be R.A.D. (Robot Alchemic Drive) for the PS2. It's a game where you control giant robots, except it's via remote. So you're character has to actually find a good vantage point to control their robot from. The robots control a bit like Fight Night, with each analog stick controlling an arm. Whole thing has this old school cheesy kaiju movie vibe as well, complete with the bad acting. Also had multiple robots, characters, and endings, so there was some nice replayability as well.

Think right now one of the things I'm really wanting is this if at all possible. Or anything really.

I bought two like these for OLED, and slim. They fit a thin layer of armor, or silicone, and last long.

These are all nicer cases! ;-)

I have the hori flip case for the 2000, and it is excellent. The glossy finish feels meh, and scratches easily, but it covers the vita effectively and keeps the sticks protected, which was my #1 concern.

A bigger memory card is definitely a must. I just got a 32 GB card a few days ago and I'm blown away with all that I can fit on there. I finally don't feel cramped for space.

u/arrise · 0 pointsr/vita

Hi I'm new to Vita, just bought mine a few days ago from a friend and I was hoping to get An 8Gb Memory Card.

This subreddit is filled with deals and discounts galore for Vita games and accessories. the only problem is they are always US only, Canadian Gamestop and Amazon never give us the same deals and it starts to hurt the wallet after awhile. To ship any games across the border I would be looking at anywhere from $20+ on shipping which I've actually done before because even with that its still $5-$10 cheaper then buying it here and ships in less time.

Thanks for your consideration, a new Canadian Vita Owner

u/BeanioIce · 0 pointsr/vita

Pff. It annoys me how you in the 'muricas and the like can find really cheap vita accessories. Over here in teh UK it more than often costs an awful lot more, more so than just the VAT would add, that or it's dodgy seller. For the cradle and the pdp trigger grip I could only find;

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trigger-Grips-Case-Replacement-Playstaion/dp/B0081GA4BK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1416342952&sr=8-4&keywords=ps+vita+pdp+grip

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B007MSGEPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416344026&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita+stand , respectively.

So I don't know if I'm just not looking in the right places or whether amazon's just having a giggle.

Someone help me out on UK pricing?
