Bought these picture frame coasters off amazon and just slipped the little cross stitches in!

If you like those but can't find them, I would suggest checking out Soulkr's stuff on Once Upon A Tee - his art aesthetic is beautiful and the print quality on the 13x19's are amazing, and the frames I use for them are stellar. I've got easily 10 of them hanging around my house, and even splurged on a 13x19 metal print for his Megaman image, which I love to death.

11x23. I used these. If you keep an eye out the price goes down to under 20 bucks from time to time. Really happy with the fit and overall look.

That layout is probably the most optimal for the space you have. I think putting the bed on the other side of the room would make it feel more choppy because of that indent next to the closet. It would be chunk of space at door/dresser > closet passage > chunk of space at foot of bed. If that makes any sense at all. The shelf thing - So you would have a 2-3 foot gap on that side of your bed to accommodate for that shelf. Is that a walkable, usable space for you? Does it crowd the closet/entry too much if you do that? Can that shelf fit at the end of the bed in the corner by any chance?

So! How to make it a little more grown up - I would suggest starting by updating your bedding. The feminine-industrial-boho-ish vibe you've got started is cool (yes I just made that up), just ramp it up a bit.

I believe you have a comforter? Swap it out for a new one OR get a duvet cover and use your existing comforter as the duvet filler (just make sure it will fill the cover, or just get a duvet insert). If you do a print, stick with a small scale print like the floral you have now, or an abstract muted pattern/texture - a bold medallion or stripes might eat up the "visual space" in there. Then you can do the "fancy people" thing as I call it, and get a coordinating throw for the end of the bed, folded neatly along the foot of the bed.. Look at some staged pictures of bedding you'll see what I mean. Sometimes people get a bed scarf specifically for that but a light weight throw or coverlet works just as well. Bump 2 of your pillows for square euro shams in the back and keep 2 standard pillows in front - and feel free to add in as many or as few decorative pillows as you can handle. If the big euro shams seem like too much then 4 standard pillows like you have is fine just prop the ones in the back up so it looks layered.

Something like this would look nice with blush/pink sheets if you want to stick with the colors you have - plus you already have a pink throw you can use at the foot of the bed. It's a lot of texture but its subtle, then splash more color in your future wall art & plant pots. Maybe your artwork/photos can be framed in natural wood to match your light fixture and/or black to match your bed.

I also see a woven basket hiding - maybe play off that with a round jute rug. Peek that out from under the foot of the bed i.e. if it were divided into 4, have 1/4 of it under the bed and the other 3/4 poking out. However it best fits. You have carpet so it's not like you need a beefy rug just something decorative. Lot of ways to play it!

lol

I hope you get them soon! =)

BTW, here's a tip for keeping your posters in good condition:

I highly recommend getting a frame, these kinds of paper rip very easily. And, you can get a set of 4 frames (one for each poster) in a set for around 30$. Not only that, but they fit the posters well! (But you have to trim the posters just a little bit)

You can get the frames [here] (https://www.amazon.com/Craig-Frames-17-Inch-Picture-4-Piece/dp/B00DYY9P28/ref=pd_cart_rp_1_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00DYY9P28&pd_rd_r=G0KBJH0MRDMF436M1SNC&pd_rd_w=vuJ6h&pd_rd_wg=XAfGw&pf_rd_i=cart-page-widgets&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3491174762&pf_rd_r=G0KBJH0MRDMF436M1SNC&pf_rd_s=cart-page-widgets&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=G0KBJH0MRDMF436M1SNC)

Did any of your posters come kinda bent up from sliding around in the tube.. or just being stuffed in there like incorrectly?

I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005MRWAAE/ which says its 33x23. I never bothered to convert the MM sizes they gave on the sale page to inches.. looks like you would need a 33.0709" x 23.622" which they do have.. but of course my frame shipped today! https://www.amazon.com/ArtToFrames-24x33-Satin-Picture-2WOMFRBW26079-24x33/dp/B005MRWFJA

u/CaptainTDC · 2 pointsr/battlestations

I used these. They are pretty good for the price. They are also not the IMAX posters that were free. I got these ones which are 11x17, which I think are a bit bigger.

ArtToFrames 11x23 inch Satin... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MRW4VE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

They’re a bit short; need to trim about 3/4” total from the top and bottom. But look pretty good, I think. I’ve used these frames for a bunch of concert posters. They seek to hold up pretty well.

Yeah. Frames can make things look 1000x better. Here's a link to the one I bought on Amazon. Fairly cheap. Just be sure you're buying 18x18.

Edit: for some reason the picture it shows isn't the actual picture frame. But if you choose 18x18 it should be iight

I love the notebook cover idea, but don't have any good suggestions for it.

But, as far as somewhat practical gifts go - I stumbled across these coaster frames, and thought it would be a fun project to do a set of small cross stitches and put them in the frames.

u/kaylanimis · 2 pointsr/firefly

There are a number of 12x24 frames on amazon that are around $20 apiece. I'm not sure you're going to get much cheaper than that. Also, keep in mind that shipping costs will go down when you're buying in bulk. Otherwise, Michael's can have some good deals on frames.

Example: [ArtToFrames FRBW26079-12x24 Satin Black Picture Frame, 1-1/4-Inch Wide] (http://smile.amazon.com/ArtToFrames-FRBW26079-12x24-Satin-Picture-4-Inch/dp/B002OS83CI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1410709273&sr=8-2&keywords=12x24+frame)

u/bridger713 · 2 pointsr/CanadianForces

You just need a 4x6" similar to this (Amazon.ca Link), just turned sideways (short side up).

Dollarama sells them for about $2, or you can just get it at the Canex.

The oldest thing I have had on my wishlist (was previously on another wishlist and baby registry) is the Star Wars Wampa Rug for my son's Star Wars nursery. However, it is far over $15. . . So, how about a nice sentimental photo frame instead?

Amazon.com - I recently purchased this 24x36 there.

Edit: corrected link.

u/qualityburger · 1 pointr/lotr

They were a limited release, but I saw some pop up on ebay (albeit for a little more than the $95 i paid). The frames were just on Amazon Art to Frame 12x24. Pretty cheap too!

u/rroneb · 1 pointr/Broadway

I like to use the MCS 8x10 frames on Amazon. They are cheap, good quality, and very low profile. [These ones] (https://www.amazon.com/MCS-Format-Frame-Black-40958/dp/B00AWGIEFU)

u/MathTheUsername · 1 pointr/gaming

MCS Format Frames are really nice and cheap as hell.

I was able to find them even cheaper at walmart.

u/sanslumiere · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You could do something like this? (I don't know if you have Pinterest). I don't know your initials, but something like this. Then buy some cheap simple picture frames like this?

Just an idea. You suck at shopping :)

I’m assuming by plastic placard you mean something like this. If so you don’t need a template. You just need to size your document appropriately.

u/guttenberg8 · 1 pointr/clevelandcavs

If you want an average frame for less $$, here is a good option. It's only $30 and fits the PD paper perfectly. I used it for mine. It is plastic black frame and clear plastic cover, obviously not as nice a look as glass but depending on your needs it might work. Looks great in my basement.
