Get a copy of the Amazing Spider-Man (or whatever is his favorite) from his birth month and year (like October 1981 Amazing Spider-Man ) ebay or a local comic shop. A frame from Ikea
Amazon black comic book frame
Pretty cool I think, and very different, plus not very expensive.
...ask and ye shall receive
Sure. These are the shadow boxes I used. Note that the board is a bit too thick to fit with the backboard, so you either have to cut a bit off the sides of the board or you have to tear off a layer of the backboard. I used super glue to adhere the board to the backboard and the only other thing you'll need is mini glue dots which you can find at your nearest hobby store! I used a razor blade to cut the board in thirds and to cut the box labels to put up at the top!
I bought a trashed copy of Kraftwerk's Autobahn just so I could frame it (Art was in good shape, but the LP was rough). I love the album, and every time I see it on my wall I'm reminded of how amazing it is.
EDIT: Also, they make these now, which makes it feasible to play framed records often: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Vinyl-Display-Record-3-Pack/dp/B000C1YV8Y
If you want to go the professional route I've had great experiences using Blick during one of their 50% off custom framing promotions (they do this a couple times every year, just be patient).
I actually have Blick doing some work for me at the moment, should be picking it up later this week - it was about $180 (at 50% off) to do a 14x28"-ish custom frame for the Red Sox Phish night pennant along with my stubs from the Fenway run. For a typical 18x24" you're looking at about $150-200 all in during one of these promotions depending on how fancy you want to get with the frame, matting and glass.
If you want to go the cheaper route and just grab an 18x24 frame toss the print in there and hang it up I have the following ones in my apartment, all for about $35. I am more than happy with the quality and aesthetic for the price:

I'm a secondary teacher so I've got 150 (I assume you're elementary, since that many kids is not the norm?), so not sure if all the tips will be relevant. I have in and out bins for each period. Whenever I get work in I alphabetize and clip it, so on-time assignments stay together. When I grade something, I put it in the out box, and have a student responsible for passing out things in the out box, or do it myself (I write grades on the back of assignments, so the pass-outer can't see).
I keep grading REALLY focused - looking for 1-2 criteria per assignment, so I can get through them quickly. I'll make a rubric with just two criteria per level (1/2/3/4) and just circle the level they hit. The descriptors for that level are there, so I don't have to write a narrative comment for every assignment. Other assignments I have the kids self-grade, or I have them work as groups.
If I can't hang stuff, I use free-standing frames (like this: https://www.amazon.com/Tolsby-Frame-Sided-Pictures-White/dp/B00R4Q5IDW/ref=asc_df_B00R4Q5IDW/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=238614861298&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5425784752637914246&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033309&hvtargid=pla-390962201666&psc=1) and print directions, mini anchor charts, etc. for kids to see.
for sure! i got one for my copy of kids see ghost and it’s worth the $$. you’re welcome! link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RT6D42/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6yJnDbZHV5FAZ
I use something similar to this shadow box. You can stick all of your pins and patches in there and they'll be protected.
This looks pretty sweet
Edit: This is nice, too
A small picture frame should work, as the card is about 2.5 by 3.5 inches, maybe something along these lines would work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XNZ0Y32/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_D8a-wbN191CAK
They were provided by our reception venue, but I believe they are white Ikea ones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R4Q5IDW/ref=asc_df_B00R4Q5IDW5371135/
These are the frames:

I found Tim Duncan in my picture frame

The ones I got are custom from Pictureframes.com, with non-glare acrylic, they're nice, but a little pricey. This would do the trick for about half the price https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003GF8L7A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you haven't found one yet, this 18 in. by 24 in. frame fit perfectly.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FPDCUI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
All the ones I have are a standard size. I buy these frames. They’re lightweight and easy to hang.
ArtToFrames 18x24 inch Satin Black Picture Frame, WOMFRBW26079-18x24 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FPDCUI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_vlwXj69It48DT
Amazon. I actually spent more on the frame than the record, but I think it's worth it.
Now I need to find a clear blue Downward vinyl and hang it beside Astronaut.
Amazon

these ones? do they come with a glass casing or is it just a border frame
MCS 25x16.5 Inch Deluxe Record Album... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I5JQ2F0?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Golden State Art, 12.5x12.5 inches... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RT6D42?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
these are the two frames. the one that holds the cover and vinyl kinda sucks as it doesn’t hold either in place so i had to tape the crap out of it to make it stay and the back doesn’t clip on very well so it’s maybe search for something else.
I have three of these. Best "cheap" frame I've ever used.
They also have a gold version which is nice too
This one is nice and its glass not plastic and I like the fact that the record overlaps the jacket, but I'd worry about it putting pressure on the record and jacket.
as far as other ideas, I love the simple DIY display of just putting up strips of door frame molding
Vinyl Storage: how to go about doing this. I am looking to make something like this and was wondering how I should go about mounting it to the wall. See also: this
Thankfully all of mine are a standard 18x24, and I bought different colors of frames trying to at least match it to part of the poster, The Decemberists frame is actually a light blue like the wording on the poster. I found "ArtToFrames" brand frames on amazon for around $30 a piece. They have different styles and colors. They come with all the mounting hardware you need too. I'm really liking them!
Where else but Amazon (18x24)
If you're displaying full pages, this fits comic books so I would have to guess it'll work for a full page as well. If you're looking to display splash page, you'll need something different.
There's also something like this as well.

Not A2 but probably close enough: https://www.amazon.com/ArtToFrames-16x24-Black-Picture-WOMFRBW72079-16x24/dp/B002NLKOQO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469577339&sr=8-1&keywords=A2+frame
There's some nicer looking frames on amazon already made specifically for comics.
I used these from Amazon. Nothing too fancy
We got:
Hope that's at least somewhat helpful!
Gotcha. I don't know what pricing is but I'm sure it's easily looked up. I know photo places at like Walmart will do canvas printing. Maybe even something like the FedEx Office store. Not sure if you can get small squares done but it's worth a shot.
If you aren't dead set on canvas (and it sounds like you aren't) you can probably get regularly glossy prints and affix them to some small black frames - which you can make if you're handy or probably buy regular canvas and then finished the edges with something black to make it look nicer.
Or maybe even frames like this or this
Something like this.
My guess is that if they are best friends, they'll just consider the record and poster both to be both of theirs. They won't want to separate the two. And I think that they would love to have it. Give them both the record and then give them the frame. They'll hang the poster up and be happy that they have such an awesome sibling.
Also, if they don't have a turntable, [LP frames] (http://www.amazon.com/ClassyWraps-Frame-Collection-LP-BLK-Black/dp/B002QGE3HM) are pretty cheap and would allow them to display the LP, too. Just tell them to keep them away from direct sunlight, or the picture will fade.
I have a very crap tonearm with a mounting adapter I need to find the user manual but I did buy it for the SL-1800 I'm currently overhauling. https://www.amazon.com/Picture-Record-Frame-White-Solid/dp/B00V3UOM8C.
Oh sorry buddy, I'm not the one who made this post. But here's something similar
https://www.amazon.com/ClassyWraps-Frame-Collection-LP-BLK-Black/dp/B002QGE3HM
Thanks dude! It's such a solid album, can't wait for the next one. I have all of their records on vinyl apart from Common Dreads. The last one i can't find anywhere.
Yeah they are all records in frames that i swap out every now and then. Here is what i use to hang them on the wall. Works a treat.
Here is a better picture of them
Small but nice, probably way overpriced though.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MOOEDXU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2PN5xb74G1HJ9
Bigger with some names, wouldn't call it a political map.

I think this is some kind of special sticker but you could just remove the quotes.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B7VPIZC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lUN5xb540YKHD
Similar to the last without the quotes and is solid black.

This one is pretty cool and it's cloth.
