Might be a worn out clutch. Replacement here. Or here.
The Polyurethane sealer that u/Downvotes_catpics linked looks great, my instinct has always been rubber cement for tears on surfaces that need to remain flexible, and also using a bit of woven cloth on glued with the rubber cement on one or both sides to provide a bit of reinforcement.
The tool is $65 on Amazon, and while if I was disassembling my washer more than 2 or 3 times I would definately want it, there is an alternative tool for Whirlpool that sure looks like it would be just as effective.
Open the lid to the washer, Right under the lid there should be a sticker with the model # on it. Also, it could also be your dog ears need replaced. They look like this. http://www.amazon.com/Whirlpool-80040-Washer-Agitator-pack/dp/B00DM8J11Q
No door advice (good advice here already). Your machines look pretty new. Just for laughs, compare their noise specs to the quietest same-capacity machines on the market - maybe someday quieter machines can be had. These dampening feet seem like a gimmick but figured I'd mention.
Hey there, OP! Sorry to hear you're having trouble.
Here's what I believe will solve your issues:
Washer
The washer timer is advanced automatically, and it is all contained within the timer. I have seen several times where the individual settings (filling, agitating, spinning) work, but it doesn't advance like it should. This is because a small motor on the timer has failed. All you need to do is replace the timer:

Like the other techs have mentioned, it could be several things. However, 9 times out of 10, on this dryer the idler pulley has failed. It is a small pulley that keeps the belt tight against the drum that you put your clothes in.

Again, this is most likely what the issue is, but it could be a couple of other items. But if I had to guess, this will do the job for you. What do you think of what I've listed above?

If the seal is that bad, the bearings are too. You should replace the spider arm assembly too.

Installation is important. It needs to be level front to rear, and side to side.
You can also get some isolation pads to fit under the feet. They can help, if needed:

I had similar issues. Replaced it myself with a shark bite set up. Pretty easy and cost about $35.

It’s on a machine with a 10yr warranty howeverEdit p1: That sticker you see on the machine in the video is some bullshit. Accord to Samsung “10 Year Warranty” means only 1 years Parts & Labor, 2 years on Control boars, 3 years on the s/s tub part, and 10 years on the motor part. What a joke.https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/warranty/WF210ANW/XAA
Some bean counter probably figured it’s cheaper under warranty to replace that relatively simple & cheap cast arm bracket than risk the stainless tub or machines spindle (the weakest metal will always corrode first). Still, I hate that it couldn’t have been all stainless, with an external sacrificial anode, but I can see where it might make sense to them.
Edit pt2; Also, the part is apparently sold with the spindle pressed in, so who the hell knows. It’s all bullshit.

I concur, it is not that hard. It's been a couple years, since I had to replace the spider arm, but I don't remember that spring being a big deal to put back on. I want to say I used a long screwdriver stuck in one end, and hooked the other end on the shaft of the screwdriver. Then I just tilted the screwdriver up so that the spring slid down the shaft to meet the other end. I don't recall if I had to use a pliers to get them interconnected or not.
As a matter of fact, I thought the complete tear down that I had to do was not that difficult of a task.
I'm wondering about the tear you have in the boot. It is a tear from something sharp? Or is it a wear mark? When my spider arm deteriorated, the basket was wobbling something wicked. I could see that boot getting worn out from the wobbling.
Here is the spider arm (or something similar) that I had to replace:
