Tenergy 18W Turbo USB Universal AC Wall Adaptive Fast Charger with ... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OVD3FEU/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_vZVKub1DWBJ3S

Not less than $20, but its one of the cheapest ones that's approved by Qualcomm. It also lists certified car chargers

u/Billy_B0b_Joe · 4 pointsr/htcone

There are alternatives to the HTC Rapid Charger such as this:
>Amazon Tenergy 18W Turbo USB Universal AC Wall Adaptive Fast Charger with Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0 technology

This one has the best reviews on Amazon and a decent price but there are cheaper ones but those could potentially not be as well functioning.

u/givesomefucks · 4 pointsr/ProjectFi

as the other guys said, this is wrong. this is what i have, and it works just as fast as stock.

i recommend getting the combo pack with the car charger. it charges fast enough i can have gps/maps on and stream from pandora with the screen on and still see the battery charge instead of drain.

>How much space will be usable?

About 25GB on the internal SDcard partition. Get a 32GB external SDcard at the very least. I picked up a 64GB Samsung microSDXC Pro card for $30 a few weeks ago on Amazon, and they regularly go on sale (especially the slightly slower Evo models).

>Is the performance to die for?

Not horrible for a phone that's one year old, unlike the Galaxy Nexus which was terrible after only a year. Signal reception isn't as good as Motorola devices.

>Can it be rooted and/or achieve s-off?

If it ships with 4.4.4 or lower, yes, with SunShine ($25). Once you S-OFF, it behaves very much like a Nexus device: S-OFF (+bootloader unlock) -> flash custom recovery -> flash SuperSU. If 5.0.1, not yet (with SunShine; works with Java Card). And no, you can't unlock the bootloader with HTCdev (blame Verizon).

>Any limitations/annoyances I should know about?

  • Verizon bloatware. Lots and lots of Verizon bloatware. Either unlock the bootloader and rip out the junk (after unlocking and updating to 5.0.1), or use a third-party launcher and hide the bloat.

  • HTC USB cable is very short. I bought a longer Amazon-branded cable for $5.

  • Device still ships with old non-Quick Charge 2.0 charger. Add another ~$20 for a QC 2.0 charger.

  • HTC Sync Manager is somehow worse than iTunes

You should get a warranty replacement on that charger.

Note 4 uses proprietary fast-charging tech called "Adaptive Fast Charging". Check the charger that came with your phone, it should have that written on it. Samsung has been out of stock on these since I got my phone in October. I wanted to use my discount code that came with my phone to get a spare to keep at the office but there hasn't been any for sale for almost 2 months now. It'd be a bummer to not even have the one that came with my phone to use. It charges my phone much faster than any other charger I've tried. I'd say about 4x as fast.

The Note 4 also supports any Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, well at least the Snapdragon version does. I'm not sure if the Exynos would, since it doesn't have a Qualcomm chipset. But if you have the Snapdragon variant, you can try this charger (I haven't used it, just found it on Amazon): http://amzn.com/B00OVD3FEU

This one. Cheapest one I found and yes the z3 is compatible.

u/ggfools · 2 pointsr/nexus6

either will work just fine, in fact you can get any charger that is qualcomm quickcharge 2.0 certified and it will work (and charge fast)

I personally have this one and it works very well http://www.amazon.com/Tenergy-3308454-Universal-Adaptive-Technology/dp/B00OVD3FEU/

u/Aetern1ty · 2 pointsr/htcone

I have this one and it works as advertised.

u/scotchlover · 2 pointsr/MotoX

Keep in mind considering the device is a "24 Hour mixed use" battery, that means somewhere around the 33% mark will be 8 hours.

Charging percentages also will depend on the temp of the device, it won't charge too fast if the device gets hot.

Not sure which one you got, but I use the Tenergy Wall Charger and it charges as per expectations.

u/HSTFU · 2 pointsr/GalaxyS6

don't get the one off Amazon sold by samsung! There's mixed reviews and it didn't work for me. So I bought this one after a friend recommended for me and it works great

Like someone else said, my s6 came with one too. I lost it so I had to get another one.

u/crispy00001 · 1 pointr/tablets

Weird, will try this because i mostly use it for a pretty power intensive game. I just bought this charger and waiting for it to arrive http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OVD3FEU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3IAN4VN1Q26HU. Seems like some say it supports quick charge 2.0 some say it doesn't. I need a dedicated charger anyway so hopefully it works out

Here's a list of chargers that I have bought and used from Amazon that work with the fast charging.

Car Charger 1

Car Charger 2 This model isn't available, but they have more updated versions out there that I'd have no doubt work great.

Wall Charger 1

Wall Charger 2

Wall Charger 3 It's no longer available, but I still have it and it works great to this day.

As you can tell, I like to have plenty of chargers around, and most of them are connected to the wireless fast charge pads. The only problems I ever had were cable related and how I found out that not all cables are built the same to handle the fast charge.

u/rlaitinen · 1 pointr/PS4

Yeah, mine is a fast charger tho. And I think that other guy is wrong. I'm pretty sure the device dictates how many amps it will accept. This is the charger I use. It is possible I just got lucky tho

u/drwuzer · 1 pointr/GalaxyS6

The plug. I picked up a couple of these, they work fantastic - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OVD3FEU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 The cables they come with are pretty crappy though, I use these monoprice cables - http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=103&cp_id=10303&cs_id=1030307&p_id=9965&seq=1&format=2 I haven't found better cables than these.

u/MrMeowGusta · 1 pointr/lgg4

I currently use this one and it works pretty good.

u/ChiselFair · 1 pointr/newzealand

I got one a while ago off amazon because it ended up being cheaper even with shipping than the ones I found in NZ and I have just been using a plug adapter I had lying around.

u/Loomslee · 1 pointr/galaxynote4

Verizon note 4 here. My charger died on me within 1 month of using it. I called samsung, they'll send you an email with shipping label, and you have to wait like 2 weeks. It is terrible. I bought this with Prime cuz I couldnt wait, works just like the fast charger.

Oh also, if you register your device on the samsung site, you get a 50% off coupon, so I bought an extra battery with charger from the site for like 25 bucks. It has CHANGED MY LIFE. No anchoring to the charger ever. Highly recommend.

This is the one I use for everything including my Vita sometimes.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OVD3FEU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hLLPDbQ7FTNKR

I use a Quick Charge 2.0 in my truck to charge everything including my Vita also.

u/Montalbert_scott · 1 pointr/nexus6

Motorola support have no idea when they will be ready. They need to undergo more certification for Australia apparently.
Funnily enough the turbo charger is on the play store for Aussies but not available yet.
I bought one from Amazon and a car one from aliexpress.

Bought this guy off Amazon for $20:

http://www.amazon.com/Tenergy-Universal-Adaptive-Qualcomm%C2%AE-technology/dp/B00OVD3FEU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416595469&sr=8-1&keywords=quick+charge+2.0

Only had it for 2 days now...but is fantastic. Turbo charges the n6 from 35% to 75% in 20 minutes

u/3x1t0r · 1 pointr/MotoG

Happen to me also.

OEM TurboCharger never worked, always read "Charging slowly"

I bought this aftermarket charger on Amazon and works like a charm: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00OVD3FEU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_Fm9ZAbDAYMAK5
