Diamond Select makes 1:15 scale BTTF DeLoreans that also light up and have sound effects; they usually go for ~$50 or so. That's probably as big as you can get without jumping to the $700 1:6 scale Sideshow Collectibles model.

From G1, there was Omega Supreme, Sky Lynx, and Trypticon who all have motors and walking and/or driving function.

Motorized functions are not present in regular mainline toys, although there are some RC or motorized versions. When they DO make an RC toy, it tends to be awful and clearly suffers a lot for the gimmick, since you need a bulky body for the electronics, motors, and batteries, and it has to be able to balance in robot mode.

The vast majority of Transformers toys are just figures and don';t have electronics, and that's not going to change.

All three in the middle are the Moebius preassembled/painted models. So far they have all of their BSG models available as preassembled for those of us with no skills. The exception is classic Galactica, but they said they are releasing one at some point. The Battlestars are also to scale, which is my favorite part.
