Boom, found it.

Stumbled on this when searching for iPad mounts.. Then I remembered that someone posted a picture inquiring about it.

Hope this helps!

Search for portrait or headshot photographers if you want a professional photo.

Personally, I would do it on my own. For less than $20, you can get a shutter control button and versatile phone tripod. I have both and while I don't often have reason to use them, they've worked well for me. You also can simply use your phone camera' timer feature. If you do a search for DIY headshots, you'll find many tutorials on how to get a good photo.

Maybe look at other people's profile pictures and take note of what you do and don't like, and bring that information to your own photo shoot.

The Rift sensors uses standard camera threading, ie 1/4-20 (1/4" diameter, 20 threads per inch).

It's convenient because it lets you use just about any camera tripod or mount for the sensors. For example:

Security camera mount

Camera stands

Selfie Stick

The fact that EVERY single girl in the business doesn't have a 20 dollar phone tripod from amazon that they carry with them blows my mind.

They have a way to make what they do 100% legal for a 20 dollar investment and they don't bother.

I mainly film on an external webcam. Very cheap and old model. Logitech C270. To film from my perspective I just use my cell phone and a tripod. You can find them fairly cheap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PH7842Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There are also ways to make your own stands with stuff around you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTtJovKtujo

For responsive play I'd say

Renegade - $16

For responsive, then learning unresponsive,

YoYoFactory Arrow - $15

Just for something a little different, plus you get a counter weight.

Duncan Freehand - $20

String

100pk of Kitty Fat - $21

And because you have some cash left over..

Cellphone tri-pod to record some trick circles with - $12

5 Pound bag of sour gummy worms, because sour gummy worms are fucking awesome. - $16

Boom.

Unfortunately no. I have never used a tripod with iPhones. But, I did order a pretty affordable kit that includes tripod and Bluetooth shutter remote. I will be using the Moment app and it has slow shutter speed settings for Motion Blur and Light Trail photos. So not having to press the screen of the iPhone will increase the quality of the photos. I have attached a link tot he set I ordered from Amazon.

This 45" Extendable Selfie Stick is an obvious down grade, but since I dont own anything with "paper and words?", I had to settle with the stick. I will look into the worded paper stacks though, as I like the jenga master vibe it gives.

Dunno any apps that do that however this tripod come with a tiny remote that might be helpful!

u/Nemo_Griff · 2 pointsr/lockpicking

Any phone or tablet can get the job done.

This is a cheap tripod that works well if you aren't a savage with it but I would suggest getting a better head like this that is more sturdy.

DAISEN Octopus Camera Holder and Phone Tripod for iPhone/Universal Smartphone, White (4326573160) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JYV46HS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_s4tNBbCC42QK1

That's what I use for a camera tripod. The thread pattern matches the Logitech. I'll sent the octolapse settings in a bit.

u/SgtBaxter · 2 pointsr/lgv20

Do you have a tripod? If so you can just get an adapter like this

If not, there are some inexpensive ones like this one

Personally, I'd probably get a regular tripod and an adapter, as it will be more flexible for use with other things, like video cameras or DSLR's.

u/Country_Disc_Golf · 2 pointsr/discgolf

I use this exact tripod for filming myself on the course. I wrap the legs around trees and branches for better angles when there's one available to use.

u/Sobertese · 2 pointsr/redneckfixes

Or, for a simpler fix and probably just as cheap.

/u/Waz0wski - you might want to consider mounting the phone on your camera's hot shoe with a [$12.95 tripod mount/hot shoe adapter package] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PMNS0HU/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00PMNS0HU&linkCode=as2&tag=battleforthew-20).

If there's a mic or another accessory already mounted on the hot shoe, you can make extra room with an [inexpensive shoe extension] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IYGKNIQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00IYGKNIQ&linkCode=as2&tag=battleforthew-20).

Hope this is helpful and good luck with setting up your simultaneous recording!

There's tripod for phones too. Something like this

u/mil0tic · 2 pointsr/lgv10

I bought this tripod solely for the part that holds the phone, and it's definitely a nice part to have, especially for $10.

u/drnick1988 · 1 pointr/windowsphone

Thanks! I got both items on Amazon. The flexible smartphone tripod http://amzn.to/1UGfwig and the zoom lens http://amzn.to/22FuxSY, which will work with any standard tripod fitting, including the tiny useless aluminum one it comes with.

u/eldoozie · 1 pointr/videography

Get an Amazon Basics tripod, and one of these.

I just looked some up on Amazon and found these two (I've never used either of those):

Selfie Stick w/ Tripod

Tripod that can be used as a (short) Selfie Stick

u/WhiteAssBrent · 1 pointr/Bowling

I have one of these and really like it. No need to buy a phone adaptor, this one holds both larger and smaller cells phones. Also comes with its own GoPro attachment too. $15.99
AVAWO Universal 12-Inch Mini Flexible Tripod with Wrapable Leg Quick Release Plate and Cell Phone Tripod Adapter

u/graesen · 1 pointr/photography

I was looking at this so far.

u/josh088 · 1 pointr/Bowling

I use the Hudl Technique app with this small tripod: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01487BWH0 . It easily fits in my bag and I use it when practicing byt setting it up on a chair or table. The tripod fits my iPhone 6 with no problems.

u/soundbytegfx · 1 pointr/homegym

Don't think those will work. The GPR378 does have holes on the side, so any plate holders or add-ons will need to go through the main holes, just like the j-hooks do.

Something like this, but for 3x3: https://www.amazon.com/Weight-Holder-Attachments-Power-tubing/dp/B00FNB13HA

u/Dtkay · 1 pointr/photography

Yeah basically. you can use it to mount anything that uses the hotshoe or threaded mount. here is a pricey but good one and here is a more consumer friendly one. you can use something like this to use your phone as a monitor too if you dont have a small monitor. i dont know about the iOS side of the world but i know android has DSLR Controller

u/kins_dev · 1 pointr/Pixel4

If you use a tripod or something else to hold the phone perfectly still and wait about 10 seconds you should see a toast notification at the top of your screen saying that astrophotography mode is enabled.

I found this tripod to be fairly good and include a remote:

Sorry for rubbish aspect, did it on a whim and more for smapchat than anything serious. Sorry again for viewers in Germany (audio copyright) http://youtu.be/kKSHzNQy2Ts

Here's the mount I use:
PerformancePackageTM SuctionMount Car Camera Mount - Drift HD X170 Pan Tilt Tripod Mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0065M1DUI/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_..nRub1QXZYR4

And the grip to match:
i.Trek Super Mount Metal Smartphone Tablet Tripod Adapter and Stand - Retail Packaging - Silver by i.Trek http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005LY553M/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_fcoRub1MJPQJT

Did a test with a dead dummy phone and when properly set, it can be externally mounted and stable at at least 150kph. Haven't mounted the OPO outside (and won't) but I've got a few more shots on the interior with it.
