Looks like amazon has the same cable for $11.28 as well

Had a quick look at Amazon, and the Club 3D CAC-2068 from Amazon.ca is probably your best bet. DisplayPort 1.4, and it has Prime shipping. At 25 bucks, it's not cheap compared to a lot of other cables, but that's the premium you pay for a VESA-certified cable. Should be a rock solid cable for any monitor you throw at it.

There's also the Accell UltraAV but it's only DP 1.2, and the Startech.com Cable has too many negative reviews for me to recommend it.

Nope there is the HDMI adapter, and VGA adapter as well.

The old composite and component cables (Couldn't find the official one so i just linked to a 3rd party one) even still work with it last time I checked. But only HDMI offers Full HD, and mirroring like the Airplay feature on the Apple TV. The other ones will only output when apps have been programmed for fullscreen output, such as movies from iTunes or Netflix (I think). Some of those visual toys like UZU and cosmic top also have been programmed for fullscreen output for VJ's and stuff to take advantage of using the analog output options to plug them into a video mixer.

EDIT: Are you using Display Port? Cause that's the only way it'll work with an Nvidia GPU. This is the display port I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078HVDMW2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a cable from Microcenter which didn't work. The Amazon Display Port cable worked flawlessly.

Master List: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ej9mOe5NamLldpfyFfXrqvLMZP-aG2Zi1su7QzPRNJY/edit#gid=0

Surprised you have never seen this list. It was posted on the Nvidia Reddit for maybe a week or two it seemed after the January update. [Also that flicker that is stated in the * section also happens with AMD GPUs it has nothing to do with Nvidia GPUs. It's a flaw in Dell's implementation with this particular panel]

Oh also the VRR does not work with an HDMI on Nvidia GPUs you HAVE TO use Display Port. With an AMD GPU you can use HDMI or Display Port. I have verified this with a RX 580 and an Xbox One X.

That's a fantastic idea, I'm having a bit of regret getting the 4 output version. I may buy another and sell the one I have.

I went with SCART cables from retro_console_accessories on eBay, she's awesome. I bought at least 6 cables from her. If you buy the cables with sync strippers in them, you'll come out a winner, because then there's less soldering to do / components to buy on the breakouts.

So, on the Crosspoint, I decided to convert everything to RCA. I needed RCA anyway, because I had to plug in component cables for some systems. BNC to RCA Adapters, for on the PVM and on the Crosspoint: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9CU42M/

For the breakout cables, I used eBay as my source for the SCART ends. I used wall plates because I mounted them so that I knew I could make a firm connection, and I had a couple laying around from my scaler project, I used "kenable ltd" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scart-Socket-to-Solder-Terminal-Wall-Face-Plate-White-005073-/261364055438 - they took about 2 weeks to get to the States. Several other people have used these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PACK-OF-10-VELLEMAN-SCARTF-21-PIN-SCART-PLUGS-FEMALE-/272033042161 - it just depends on if you want a jack or a cable, really.

RCA cables, Component: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C3MIAR8 -- Makes 10 cables (cut in half) for the RGB portion.

I then used Yellow, Red, White RCA cables (cut in half) for the Sync and Audio lines. I mostly had these, but look up lots of these on Amazon, you'll see some for sure. (like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C30BSTM)

These two diagrams were useful to me:

On the RCA cables, I wired all of the braids to ground. I wired all of the ground pins on the SCART header to a common ground (the braids).

On the Crosspoint, audio can be switched separately from Video. This is useful - you can output any input to a stereo, even if it's not playing video. The issue with Crosspoint audio is that it uses a connector called a Phoenix connector, and guess what, you have to wire that up for "unbalanced audio" as well. I can give you some direction on that as well when you get to that point. Just remember, the inputs are wired SLIGHTLY DIFFERENTLY than the outputs. Likely, you'll only need one audio output (to your stereo system), but theoretically, you could output to 12 stereo systems... Anyway, on those, I again cut up some RCA cables.
u/Strider19 · 2 pointsr/raspberry_pi

This is what you'll need for audio:
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-feet-3-5mm-Stereo-Splitter/dp/B0016LFN2C

And for video:
http://www.amazon.com/C2G-Cables-40456-Value-Composite/dp/B0019MGIT0

I would suggest you get the Pi from somewhere else. It should be around $35 (I got mine from Newark.com)

u/Adaevan · 2 pointsr/bapcsalescanada

For DisplayPort cables, they are digital so no cable will be able to provide a better quality picture than any other cable; they either work or don't work.

That being said, if you are looking to use it for a high refresh rate or high resolution (1440p or higher) monitor, or for daisy chaining monitors together, the cheaper cables will sometimes not work. See the last 3 paragraphs of this page.

I had bought a $10 DP cable from amazon for my 1440p monitor which stopped working in 1440p after a week (still worked perfectly in 1080p). The video/audio would cut out for about half a second every few minutes. I returned it and bought this cable for $20 which has worked perfectly since. There's a list of DP certified cables here.

Even for higher resolution/refresh rates, a cheap cable might work, but it's up to you if you want to take the risk, especially as the cable might stop working when you can no longer return it. Keep in mind that I don't know anyone else's experience with non-certified cables, and a sample size of 1 isn't great. Also, any cable you get with a monitor should be good enough.

u/GlazedNBlazed · 2 pointsr/buildapc

Most DP cords should work fine. There are some on amazon that advertise that they are compatible with 2k+ 144hz such as https://www.amazon.com/ivanky-DisplayPort-Braided-Display-Compatible/dp/B078HVDMW2/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=displayport+1440&qid=1573855371&sr=8-4

u/kevmo77 · 2 pointsr/buildapcsales

I bought this. Showed up today. It does NOT come with a displayport cable. Fortunately, I bought a displayport cable before it arrived.
I have the same exact GPU as you. Took me about 10 minutes of messing with G-Sync and multimonitor settings to get it synced up at 155fps. Works great.

u/Rovalgalim · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I know it’s 6.6 feet, but https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078HVDMW2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_E1owCbTWNN4XR should work. It’s a great quality cable.

To be honest, not too sure what the UFO test is. I just went back and read your post. The model number is S2719DGF. The 155 is overclocked through OSD, works well with no issues, but it comes out of box 144. If you are talking about motion blur it has a super high rating on RTINGS, a 9.9. Its a beautiful monitor! I am rather busy with work and school, so I have played maybe about 20 hours or so of games since I bought it, but have been lazy and have not calibrated it or anything too time consuming. $319 is a steal, I just had them price adjust mine, since I bought it two weeks ago for $380 from BB. It retails anywhere from $300s to mid $400s. $319 is the lowest I've seen it.

I honestly love it! I have a RTX2060, and I normally do not get near the 155hz, normally like 100 to 120fps, but crystal clear image, decent colors (amazing post-calibration according to the internet), and great design. I will mention that BB and other retailers are claiming that it has a 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, but that is dynamic, so not a true number. Freesync works great with it, now that Nvidia released drivers. Other than that, well worth buy if you are in the market for a monitor.

I have this monitor and was using this DP cable. I'm not really sure if its 1.3 or 1.2 but I tried using the HDMI cable from my second monitor and it worked perfectly fine on HDMI but I can only get 60 hz instead of 144hz. Today I went out and bought a new DP cable because I thought my current one was broken but I'm still getting no signal so I'm not sure what to make of that.

u/pmacdon1 · 1 pointr/cordcutters

The one you link to is the wrong kind I think. You probably need either VGA to Composite Video or S-Video to Composite Video.

I used this one for awhile and it worked ok. I must warn you though, the picture really isn't very good. It is only $10 though so I would try it and see if it works for you.

Are you using displayport or HDMI?

If using displayport, read below. I don't think the flickering issue happens with HDMI. If you are having issues on HDMI, maybe try displayport.

I've had the flickering issue after I got a 144hz monitor. After trying everything, I found out the solution. Make sure you are using a vesa certified displayport cable. Check here https://www.displayport.org/product-category/cables-adaptors/

Personally I went cheap and bought this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014BQQI4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Be careful as some cables on amazon may say vesa certified but they aren't (amazon basics cable).

Another question on something entirely different:

I'm trying set up CRT_Emudriver on my unused integrated GPU to output to a CRT via Composite. Anyways, before I spend any money, I wanna make sure of what type of adapter I'd need to work with this.

Is this style of VGA TV out adapter what I'd need for this to work?

u/mantisnzl · 1 pointr/talesfromtechsupport

all of the above, and it could also possibly be an advertising autodialer calling into a fax number and playing a verbal message. Not uncommon on listed numbers.

If it's a shared analog line, a privacy adaptor will stop the fax modem from picking up calls in progress, and vice versa. It must have been a decade since I've had to use one though.

u/4x3is12 · 1 pointr/buildapc

u/Silver_Foxxx · 1 pointr/computer_help

If you decide to change cable types get a DisplayPort cable with locks.

I have this cable on a similar monitor and it works at 1440P @ 144Hz.

u/cadavra41 · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

It's certainly worth a shot and isn't too expensive to try. I've recently picked up this cable and it has been treating me well.

u/Morsit · 1 pointr/ipad

Sorry I have no idea. But you could create a "DIY irig" with a trrs to rca connector ( https://www.amazon.com/TecNec-3-5mm-Composite-Stereo-Camcorder/dp/B009X6EQ0C ) and buy the proper connectors for the guitar and such, then just connect it to the headphone jack and there you go. The only inconvenience is that the sound will be coming out of the white and yellow rca connectors.
Sorry if this wasn't helpful and sorry for the long link I'm on mobile

u/ScarceLoot · 1 pointr/Amd

Have you updated the bios via via usb as well as updated the chipset drivers?

I havnt done too much testing but I ran FurMark for 15 min or so and it didn’t crash - be careful with FurMark it could do actual damage if you don’t watch the temps. For the record I’ve crashed in Fortnite, LoL, and in stardew valley when I clicked to close a windows notification >.<

Also about the positioning of the gpu, I noticed that it doesn’t quite fit exactly right and it does indeed get too close to the lip of the expansion slots. Idk if there’s a fix for that besides bending the case.. (which I haven’t done) try a new cable maybe I am using these ivanky DisplayPort cables, or open the case loosen the screws on the expansion slot and then lift up on the gpu CAREFULLY then put the screws back in. Could also try a vertical gpu riser if your case supports doing so.

I have an ROG Swift PG279Q monitor and it looks like the display port cable died on me this morning as the HDMI port works and i get an image from my GPU

My question is there a cetain display port cable i need to get as a replacement? I'm aware of the different "versions" of Display Port and HDMI so does it matter whether i buy the Amazon Basics Display cable or this other brand one

  • Resolution is 1440p everywhere
  • Games are always full-screen
  • Deep Sleep is off in the monitor's settings

Unfortunately problem still here. And it doesn't necessary happens in games or alt-tabbing.

Three hours ago I left my PC in windows desktop and eventually it went to sleep. 5 minutes ago, just before writing this post I woke it up and was greeted with windows login screen with line cut in the middle and transferred to left edge, as always. No games involved.

theoretically he can get a VGA to RCA or S-Video to RCA and just plug it into the KTV's TVs from a laptop. I'm sure some of them use HDMI now which makes it easier.

Realistically I don't know if they'll actually let him, hah. Seems a lotta work to impress some KTV girls.

Your GPU does have DP, but the Monitor you want to use, does not.

So either go with a different Monitor or use DVI-D.

And Yes you would need to buy a Display Port Cable, they look similar to HDMI but are different of course.

Like this

And btw you don't need to get a PREMIUM GOLD PLATTED DP cable....we talk digital like HDMI and either it works or it doesen't....
