Comb through your lashes after you put mascara on with a spare spoolie (you can buy bulk packs on Amazon) or an eyelash comb and it should take care of any spidery issues!
My recommendation is to not buy cheap eyelashes. They tend to be really sharp on the corners and will likely stab you. And seriously spend a month wearing them. They take a decent amount of time to get used to. Find a glue that is right for you (I HATE DUO).
Here are some of my favorite lash brands:
House of Lash
Oh My Lash
Dolluxe
Dolly Wink
My favorite eyelash glue. It dries in 10 seconds (DUO is 40-60 seconds)
DUP Eyelash Glue

The red bow on the headband gets my vote.
I've got a certain style of eyelashes in mind. Lemme see if I can find.
EDIT: Like this, but for the love of God please trim back the bottom lashes a little so you don't look like a spider.
I literally just posted about some new brushes I got and I love! I bought two different sets, here are the amazon links:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012CZ7WUG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_cb7ahZaywEGhQ
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTTJ797/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_9co76PSoRgI2V
My fav eyelashes are Christina Eyelashes WSP and they sound similar to what you are looking for! They really don’t add any fullness just length and I find them so easy to apply because the band is flexible. here is the link if you are interested
I love this concept, I hope it catches on as a trend here! I would recommend defining your eyes a bit more, even with a deeper shadow pressed into the upper lash liner. I also really love these for bridal and I actually just used them on a wedding party last weekend that really loved them! Congrats btw!
Amazon link (:
You can use something like this to get the product out and then maybe put it in a clamshell or something pretty airtight.
Edit also I just remembered someone suggesting to put the tube in some hot water and the product will all sink down, so you can get a little more that way.
I just recently became obsessed with Ardell Demi Whispies! (There's tons of different versions, but I get these because they're so affordable and they have a flexible band!) They look so natural and most people can never tell if I'm wearing them.
I used to struggle a lot with getting lashes on as well. Tips that have helped me are:
Welp! That's all I can think of... I know it's fairly standard info. Hopefully it helps?!
First of all: yay matte love! Try it on a polish with a shimmer to it and you get a really cool effect. Or glitters. As for cleanup, the best advice I can give is to buy one of these and a bottle of pure acetone. To clean up, you can pour a teensy bit of acetone into a shot glass or the cap, or whatever, dip your brush in and use it to get the polish off the edges. Seriously, it'll change your life. :)
You can buy this spatula on amazon- very cheap. It’s to help make the most out of your product.
https://www.amazon.com/599801-Beauty-Spatulas-Black-Piece/dp/B07DVZY5Y5/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=makeup+spatula+tool&qid=1568172106&s=gateway&sprefix=makeup+spa&sr=8-3
Hope this helps! There are several other options too. I bought a similar one a few months ago and it works perfectly!
Exactly. Some of that stuff is crazy expensive. I'll cut just about anything open to get to the end bit. And these little, tiny spatula things help, too.
https://www.amazon.com/599801-Beauty-Spatulas-Black-Piece/dp/B07DVZY5Y5/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=tiny+makeup+spatula&qid=1568148251&s=gateway&sr=8-2
something like these would work really well
Pick up one of these and use it with demi lashes or full strips cut into sections. I'm pretty good applying falsies with my fingers but I am amazing at it with this thing!
Eye Lashes for 1.65
Bombtastic
DUP eyelash glue, have the exact same one~
If I'm using the same brush, I defer to my Vera Mona. I prefer the convenience of the case. When the sponge needs to be replaced, though, I'll probably just grab some inexpensive stippling sponge.
I'm not sure of the cost difference!
I've been using this 4 pair pack of Ardell Demi Wispies off of Amazon for $9.20. I've been using this pack for 2 weeks, and have used up 3 lash bands. I re-use the lash pieces a couple of times, whereas I would always throw the individuals away because I would coat them with mascara for more volume! One pack of individuals costs $9.40, and I would get less uses out of them I would think.
I like Sigma E65 small angle. $14. here it is on Amazon
I love how everyone is so generous and kind and how much the mods work to make this place great. I'll miss it here and being able to gift but I hope the sister sub is equally as great!

I did it! I washed them! I've been pretty good lately with washing my brushes every weekend - here is how I do it!
I have a decent collection so far, and a different use for every brush I have, but there are definitely a few more that I want!
Sooo the types of brushes I'm looking for to round out my collection are (and they don't have to be these exact ones of course):
Scavenger hunts are my favorite!
Melt Cosmetics 6six6 is my favorite lipstick right now. :D
EDIT: Eyelashes on my wishlist as a prize if I win
These under $10 animal shaped paper-clips are adorable and full of whimsy. I use them in my planner and they make me happy when I see them. They are also eye-catching, and people always comment on them.
This under $5 lash separator removes clumps after applying mascara.
i just went through the headache of finding my perfect gel eyeliner brush. i have two that i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE and highly recommend. cheap, too!
first, Bdellium Tools Angled Brow 762 an angled eyeliner/eyebrow brush. gives me the most perfect cat eye.
second, Bdellium Tools Fine Point Eyeliner 706 if you are looking for something way more precise. for the days i want a thinner eyeliner looks. TRUST ME. these are great.
edit: i splurged on the bobbi brown fine eyeliner brush and hated it. it just didn't give me what i wanted. it was hard to use IMO. my cat eye never came out right, but i don't know what you are trying to accomplish with your liner. good luck.
I have this massive pack of lashes from amazon. 70 pairs for $15! This way if I lose one Or screw up I have plenty more! I just started using revlons glue and it's awesome!
You can get them at Sally Beauty Supply or Amazon. Sorry for the long link, I am on mobile.
(G2PLUS 100 Pack Disposable Eyelash Mascara Brushes Wands Applicator Makeup Brush Kits Pink https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NXKRGLU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_bJ2RybYSZZ0M0)
Hahaha every damn time I post some sweet person comments they love my eyelids which I had no idea was even an enviable quality until I came to this sub!
And you bet I have some favorites. The Sigma E25 is imperative for me to do any blending. For more general blending I like the E40 and very precise blending/application I love the E45
Thank you <3
I totally have advice! So you'll need [one of these] (http://www.amazon.com/USpicy®-Upgraded-Equipment-USpicy-Protective/dp/B004WAGFQC/ref=sr_1_4?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421717612&sr=1-4&keywords=uv+light)
You for sure need [this base coat] (http://www.amazon.com/Gelcolor-Collection-Lacquer-Fluid-Ounce/dp/B006HKR6OK/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421717912&sr=1-1&keywords=gel+base+coat) and [this top coat] (http://www.amazon.com/OPI-Gelcolor-Collection-Lacquer-Fluid/dp/B006HKR50A/ref=sr_1_2?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421717941&sr=1-2&keywords=gel+top+coat) some [cuticle oil] (http://www.amazon.com/Avoplex-Cuticle-Replenishing-AV701-Fluid/dp/B000TBW0NA/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1421718071&sr=1-1&keywords=cuticle+oil) rub a little bit of that on top at the very end and voila!
<3
Yep I actually funded most of it by asking for an amazon giftcard! I ended up getting a UV light, and semi wish I had splurged on an LED just because it takes longer to cure nails under UV. [This is a good starter set for all the base/top coat stuff](NEW Gelish Fantastic Four Soak-Off Gel Nail Polish Kit For LED Lamp | 01787 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FXXS37G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_CHfcgVKDc1gDB) and [this is the lamp I got](USpicy MACARON 36W Nail Dryer UV Lamp/ Light Upgraded with Sliding Tray & Timer Setting, SPA Equipment + FREE USpicy Highly UV Protective Gloves https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WAGFQC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_bLQTBsz3aSUtG)
Not sure on the brand for the lashes you have but D-UP is a pretty popular japanese eyelash glue brand-also white-ish out of the tube but dries clear. They also have their own false eyelashes.
Disposable mascara brushes also work wonders for cleaning w/o leaving the fibers behind.
I keep my eye on two brands on amazon. IBD and TruGel! I can sometimes score colors for under $8!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WAGFQC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_bwkkybRJF3XB9
I use this light which is under $30 right now. I've had for it for a couple years and am quite happy with it.
They're strip lashes, so they're not too difficult to put on. But they're shorter than regular lashes, which makes me feel like I don't have caterpillars glued to my eyes. And the lashes themselves are natural looking. Here's ones I have, I bought them in a 4 pack on Amazon.
I put them on with clear-white Duo glue. The only issue I've run into with them is that the strips were a bit too long for my eyes, but trimming the band is common and super easy.
They're not hard to put on, once you get the hang of it, you just have to make sure you get them as close to your lash line as possible.
I copied and pasted these directions directly from the Amazon page:
>Check Fit. Align band with natural lash line to check fit. Trim excess if necessary. Apply a thin line of adhesive along band. Wait thirty seconds for adhesive to set. Apply Lashes and secure lash band by pressing onto lash line.
blepharoplasty is not something to take lightly,
if you are serious about the procedure, you might be better off (as someone else mentioned) going to korea or thailand for the work (medical tourism is huge in both countries and they will have clinics set up with wholly english speaking staff that exclusively take non locals) the whole cost of flights, hotel and surgery is usually much less than the cost of getting it done locally since it is a common procedure there (as compared to calgary)
before you do commit to such a face altering surgery, you might want to discuss it with family, while they might not say it, it can sometimes be considered disrespectful to remove such a racial characteristic (or that you no longer wish to look like them) at least try a couple of moths with eyelid tape or glue
CoverGirl Cheekers Blush, Classic Pink
False Eyelashes (I live for cheap eyelashes that I can cut up and style and not care if I screw up)
NYX Sharpener
I'll be stalking this thread for more ideas - thanks for hosting!!
I'd say my number 1 item under $5 is NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Raspberry Tart because the color is gorgeous and the formula is better for my busy mornings at work.
The second most favorable item would be these lashes because falsies are the one thing I've yet to master and I could use all the practice!
The 3rd item would be this blending sponge because I've yet to try one.
THINGAMABOB It's in my under $10 wishlist. $1.66 & free shipping. Thank you for the contest!
Thanks for the awesome contest =)
DUP is the best ever. I LOVE this stuff. Brush on, wait a bit for it to get tacky and apply lashes. It has good hold without being hard to remove.
https://www.amazon.com/DUP-Eyelash-Fixer-Clear-type/dp/B0012VQTO2
I had this issue and I got an eyelash rake (IDK what it's called but it looks like this https://www.amazon.com/Docolor-Eyelash-Curlers-Applicator-Grooming/dp/B01G1HC3H8?th=1). I didn't get that brand but it works super well!
I actually had just posted about the best eyeliner brush I had come across. I absolutely love this brush. Also, check that price out! :D

Hootie gosh those are so darn cute :)
Thanks for hosting... so generous on your birthday :)
My picks would be the Coastal Scents 252 Palette for $25.99... because i don't really have any adventurous colors, or Real Techniques Core Collection for $15.50 because one can never have enough awesome brushes! Or even a big bundle of falsies for $14.90 because look how fun...!
Thanks again for hosting and Happy Birthday!! It's my party!
If you have Amazon orders this add on sounds like what you'd need. Works great when I use my Mac Fluidline.
That's so fun that you're turning 26 on the 26th! Happy birthday!
It's my party
I would love to get this Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil. If you don't have Prime, that may slightly exceed $26.
Here is a backup, since I can't figure out the non-prime shipping cost:
This Sigma shading brush + NYX Butter Lipstick - Pops
I just started playing with falsies. I grabbed some from Walmart for cheepsies and managed to perfect them pretty quickly.
[I just bought this.] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WW1AOE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) It's super affordable and if you (or I) screw anything up, there are ppplleeennntttyyy more left over.
I have to use latex free eyelash glue and I use the one from Kiss. Also found at Walmart. I've slept in them a couple of times, (twice and only because I crashed at my friends place after a night out), and they were still on just as if I'd just put them on.
Oh my gosh, congrats, Wooly!! You must be absolutely flying right now! I hope you're treating yourself, too, for a job well done!
I have been wanting this sigma E-45 brush for awhile, after seeing it in some YouTube videos.
I also fell in love with this MAC Styled in Sepia lipstick from the matte collection. I think it's such a cool color and totally different than a lot of colors out there!
I have Eyelid Tape in my "things that might be helpful" box.
I bought this one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004WAGFQC
I absolutely love it and it's worked with every brand I've tried so far, including shellac. If you just want it for a base coat though you can get an LED light which generally cure faster and don't need bulb replacements as often. I've heard great things about this one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GMQDN64/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?qid=1422567015&sr=1-8&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&dpPl=1&dpID=31dZ7N-2fkL&ref=plSrch
From what I've seen you only really need UV if you're going to be using hard gels to do thicker overlays or nail sculpting. Hope this helps!
Edit: I realized there are a few UV only base and top coat brands, shellac being one of them. I use Gelish because I found it to be a much glossier top coat and works with LED.
Here they are
My only strife is that the set lacks some nice blendy eyeshadow brushes; however I found a nice set
on Amazon, too.
Okay, so I had to create an album... and I restrained myself, haha.
Husband and I have two kitties, Sweetie Clementine and Optimus Prime Robot Fighter (aka Opie). Guess which one he named? They're from the same litter, even though they don't really look alike anymore, and we got the two ends of the size spectrum: Sweetie is the runt so she's much smaller and Opie is the biggun. Both are very sweet and thankfully, they're pretty well behaved! They've never torn up our furniture (except our old couch when they were learning to jump).

If I won, I would definitely love the Vera Mona Color Switch! Any other little things would be a nice bonus. :)
Thank you for hosting!! I love seeing everyone's furbabies. :)
Hey, you might like these Ardell lashes. They’re very natural and you can get packs of 8 pairs for around $10. You probably get recommendations all the time but I figured I’d throw mine in there too. :) My friend swears by these and they’re very natural looking.

That would really look cute! These are another style of lashes that might work for the doll costume.
https://www.amazon.com/Docolor-Eyelash-Curlers-Applicator-Grooming/dp/B01G1HC3H8/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1498009192&sr=1-5&keywords=eyelash%2Bcomb&th=1
the Vera Mona solo switch changed my life. It's expensive and some people say a sock bun works as a dupe but I can't live without mine.
Fake eyelashes for 1.63 and free shipping :) Thanks for the contest!
I am not sure how much makeup you use but I tend to be a cushion foundation girl + primer + some smoky eyeshadow.
I have a buttload of air puffs ( probably around 15) and i use a Vera Color Switch, which has the texture of a hair bun sponge and you use it to remove powder from your makeup brushes. It available at Sephora and there a bunch of dupes online. Link on Amazon below.
It is great for shadow brushes, and powder makeup. It is also washable. It pretty much like a spot clean, and I deep clean my brushes probably every few days. (But I love washing brushes, I even dig out my older sisters and moms brushes)...
The great thing about the color switch is that there is NO DRYING TIME. Which is great if you are like me and always only have one good eyeshadow brush. You can use it for everything ^^. And it isn't visually dirty. It removes probably 90-95% percent visible and it so reusable. And no products (E.g. micellar water or anything) needed because I hate using an additional product that might irritate me.
But yea, i have friends who work as MAC artists or MUA and they wash their really often. You can wash your brush as much as you want, as long as you wash properly, and dry properly. The reason that most companies, in my opinion, tell you not to wash too often is that it wear and tears more.
No prob! It's just funny that I've been having this problem recently and have just had my eyes look equally for two days now.
The make-shift "tape" I use: http://www.staples.com/Post-it-1-2-Flags-with-Pop-Up-Dispenser/product_SS975428
I basically cut one strip into around 3 curved ones (like these ones http://www.amazon.com/Eye-Charm-Charm-Double-Applicator-40pairs/dp/B000VS6GCM).
You have to experiment on exactly where you put it on your lid--it's easy and you'll figure it out! :)
About the tape, I only used the post-it ones, because I didn't want to buy the eyelid tape ones. I have two other sets of these sticky markers (one from Daiso and the other from the dollar store but they don't stick as well as Post-It).
If you decide on buying anyway and that you don't have these post-it tabs at home, I think you should just get the eyelid tape--then again, you'll just experiment first--so maybe buying it without knowing it'll work isn't such a good idea... Anyway! The bottom line is that what you need is something that will really stick and is thicker than the normal Scotch (transparent) tape. I think the thicker magic tape would work too. If your eyelid tends to get a little bit oily like mine, put the tape on after shower/washing your face.
If you have any follow-up questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
The Christina #WSP lash has been my favorite for everyday wear for the last few months! I also love Koko lashes in the style Queen B for something more dramatic. (:
Flash This!
Thanks for hosting!!
These super cute lashes!
cheap!
My favorite creepypasta, the one that gives me chills and keeps me up at night every time, is Ted's Caving Page. Some spoiler-ish background on Ted can be found here.
The scariest incident I ever had, personally, was when I was telling my kids a spooky story before bed, and I had the sudden absolute certainty that someone was staring at me. I looked across the bedroom and saw a face, as if an elderly woman was laying on a bed directly across from ours, staring straight at me with wide, startled eyes. I looked away and tried to ignore the feeling of being watched, figuring it was a trick of the light or my mind. When I told my husband about it, he said "Oh yeah, my grandma died in that room. Her bed was right up against the wall opposite where ours is."
WELL GREAT THANKS FOR THAT INFORMATION
my under-ten: studs, dolls, or lashes if you please!
edit: Booooo
Vanity Planet!!!! They have a set of 15 brushes in a case that's valued at $100 but they usually have them marked down 70% so he could get them for $30 right now! I have this set and the quality is amazing. I would definitely recommend them.

Also, there is a 7 piece eye shadow brush set on Amazon that I found that is really nice quality for less than $15. I love mine so much!! I have the black/silver set.
