I believe its a bag to dump his used magazines in after they've been emptied. Referred to as a dump bag.

Something like this

Okay, here's my recommended loadout for you: (using your $1k budget)

Gun: Tokyo Marui Recoil Shock M4 SOCOM $460 Test firing video of gun

And yes, despite all the Tokyo Marui stigma that all their electric guns are cheap plastic, the new ones (since 2009) are made of metal.

Mags x3-5 $75-$125

Battery and Charger

Most Tokyo Marui guns hold their values really well, and they perform well too. Most guns, when you open the box, they instantly lose 1/3 of their value from you just touching it. But Tokyo Marui guns have a reputation of being reliable and pretty rare outside of Japan, so they hold their values much better, usually at 80% of original, or sometimes if you find the right buyer it'll hold 100% of their value. Not to mention they perform very good and have superb accuracy right out of the box. The Socom M4 also has a unique bolt lock (like the Systema PTW) and a simulated recoil function that provides feedback when you shoot it. Downside to this gun is that you need to buy special magazines for the gun to feed, or buy an adapter. So if you somehow don't like Airsoft, then you can resell this gun for basically MSRP.

Shirt: Voodoo Tactical Combat shirt $30 Best combat shirt, very breathable, has zippers to vent armpits as well.

Plate Carrier: Shellback Tactical Banshee plate carrier $130 Pretty much a real steel plate carrier, one of the best you can buy, and is not that bulky for better mobility.

Dump pouch: Any dump pouch will do, $15

Mag pouches: I use a condor one $20 (because I'm cheap) but I've tried a HSGI Taco pouch $30 each and they're pretty good... But pretty expensive

Eye Protection: If you play outdoors and want goggles, I can't really give you a recommendation here, but I play indoors and I use a full facemask the dye i4. It fits really well to your face, is low profile, and never fogs.

I would use the remaining money on gun equipment to make to make it more "OPERATORZ"

G&P red dot sight Eotech 551 clone $60

Magpul PTS Handguards $20

Magpul MOE vertical Grip $20 will only work with the MOE hand guards above

I use this for my M249 box mag.

I haven't tried it, but when I felt the material in the package at the store, it was basically the same janky material as the vest (cheap and thin and would fall apart from heavy use).

It has a belt attachment and a leg attachment to secure it in place.

You're better off buying an actual MOLLE pouch. I've been using this one for years and it has been one of the best investments I've ever made as it's on all of my Rival loadouts. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Z9VHHM/

7.62x25 is 7.62 Tokarev, yes? Azoom makes them.

I really like these. I actually never wear them but it's nice when I go to the range I just grab it and it's not a big mess of loose magazines. Plus you can hang them up or even strap them together.

This one has good reviews and is made by Sig. :)

u/McDudeston · 2 pointsr/Bushcraft

Thanks!

I actually have two fishing systems there. This one, which is awesome and I wish I still had access to a lathe so I could make one myself, and this one. That latter system kinda sucks, as it likes to fall apart and doesn't cast well. Since the reel doesn't actually spin (due to plastic-on-plastic friction as well as the axle being threaded) you have to draw the line out and cast it by hand, effectively making it worse than the hobo hand rod. I'll try printing this one off, which is made by the same guy but designed to use a bearing to allow the reel to spin when cast.

The saw is just an Opinel folding saw. But it fits perfectly into a Condor MA31 mag pouch. The laplander saw fits just as well, and a Silky Gomby can fit, it just takes up more vertical space and you don't get as much engagement on the velcro.

> it's someone helping out the community with a "hey, here's something I discovered!"

Well I didn't discover it. It was someone here in this sub talking about the 3V Gear Velox backpack who had one attached to it. Was someone on FB, and I went off to Amazon.. I thought I'd mention it since it works so well. Here's the Amazon link to make it easier.

u/LadyPotatas · 2 pointsr/airsoft

Amazon - 100 round "nutsack"

Amazon - 200 round style box mag pouch (big one)

ACU version also a lot cheaper

I'll see what else I can find, but that's what I found on a quick search - there's also a bunch on ebay for auction.

u/apachexmd · 2 pointsr/airguns

I like the Mtm ammo belt pouch. It has a nice secure hinged lid but pops open easily when needed. It's also has nice rounded inside corners so even the last few pellets are easily snagged from inside the case. It's handy to have to pouch right on my belt for easy access. And lastly it's cheap at about 3 bucks.

I just keep the box for whatever I'm shooting on the bench, for 22s I recycle a few old CCI Mini Mag boxes (the clear 100rd trays) and restock them after every trip with whether bulk 22 I have. Stops them from rolling around.

If you're outside or have no bench then perhaps something like this is in order ....

Actually, my favorite bag is the 26L GR1, which I use all summer for shorter trips. It's only when the weather turns colder that I break out the 34L bag (or the 40L GR2 or GR3, for longer trips or if I need to carry, say, an extra pair of size 14 shoes or a heavier coat, etc.). I generally travel with the smallest bag that will hold what I need to carry. I also prefer the one compartment layout of the GR1 vs the two compartments of the GR2. The GR3, BTW, is a great one-compartment bag, if you need all that capacity.

I hardly ever use field pockets inside my bags, unless I need extra protection for delicate stuff, such as camera gear. I think they are way too bulky and take up too much valuable real estate. I hardly ever even use them outside, either unless, again, I need them for extra protection. Instead, I always hang a soft, Goruck Simple Side Pocket on a side MOLLE and I also have several other pouches that I sometimes attach to the front MOLLE. Currently seeing a lot of use is the Condor Large Utility Pouch. I do, however, always employ packing cubes (both regular and compression) inside, as they weigh practically nothing, are very space efficient and can't be beat for organizing one's stuff.

The 5-groove barrel is the original barrel; they (and the 1903's) received 2-groove barrels when they were rearsenaled. Standard .30 cal cleaning: bore brush, cleaner, patches.

Get yourself some Stripper Clips and have fun running mad minutes.

Be sure to take the bolt apart and give the internals a look. You'll find a m6 fender washer helpful for not munching your fingers.

Here's a photo of my rig as it was the last time I played with it (I've made some modifications since then).

And yes, there is an H harness that's compatible for it here. If you want, you could run a tank pouch on your back with it. I've been considering it myself for use in big games where a 13/3k tank may not be enough.

I have a radio holder, flashlights, pouches for gloves, OC holder, here's the old oc case that I upgraded from which worked great for three years, Handcuff Case, Key Clips and/or Carabiners work great too.

u/GFfoundmyusername · 2 pointsr/SigSauer

Go for it! I have one and fell in love with it. Speaking of the p320 does anyone know if the 17 round mag would fit this

I’m thinking it’s the loader.

Buy one or two of these

https://www.amazon.com/Safariland-J-K2C-COMP-II-Speedloader/dp/B001MYIWP8

If they don’t work, I’ll buy them off you. I’m sure they will though.

u/controversalusername · 2 pointsr/guns

You could rock dual bandoleers.

u/TheBlindCat · 2 pointsr/gundeals

The speed loaders will say what they are meant for. I much prefer the Safariland Comp II’s, a much better design than the twist off HKS type. The Comp II’s are a little tight when you first use them but loosen up quickly and you don’t have to worry about them accidentally dropping rounds. You’re looking for K-Frame sized speed loaders.

This is a pretty good price.

These things are junk, best to throw them in the garbage.
I had one where the rim broke off and the tip go forward into the bore of my 22 about 1/2 an inch, never even noticed as I thought I extracted it when pulled back on the charging handle.

A few weeks later I was at the range, tried to chamber a round, bolt would close all the way, wasn't until I ran a cleaning rod through the bore did I realise how close I was to a disaster.

If you're looking for snap caps, A Zoom makes an aluminium one https://www.amazon.com/Zoom-6-Pack-Precision-Rounds-Proving/dp/B0014VVHT2

It always gets hard dating these kinds of things...but according to this site which not only lists serial numbers but the number of actually produced firearms for the month - the number in process and more importantly the number accepted by ordinance approval it sounds (looks) like its possible for a rifle to be started in one month and then finished (or accepted) in the next as there is constant carry over during all the production.

Of course its also possible someone took off a closely matching barrel from another receiver and put it on yours. Either way I would check the amount of throat erosion and of course if the bolt head spaces into the barrel. If the rifle is solid and that all holds up as long as the price is good it shouldn't be an issue as it probably is an all original (or at least I cant find anything that would say it isnt)

Theyre great guns and if you want a tip buy some of these 6.5mm Laddram Clips as they will work in an 03 as stripper clips (will ping out after loading/as you close the bolt) its impossible to get original 03 stripper clips as they were two parts (brass and steel) and once the rounds were loaded the two parts would separate and really were one time use, ive been using these same couple mauser clips for a few years now over and over no issues, good luck!

edit just saw the price on those 6.5mm clips, when I purchased them they came in a 40 ct milsurp box (in total about $35) so shop around as they aparently now only give you 10 for $28.50 which sounds steep to me.

I have this pack as well, plus the Maxpedition Bottle Holder and the Maxpedition Rollypoly attached on either side. It is an excellent pack for just about everything.
Way more space than you may expect. I've taken it all over the country (travel for work, I tend to pack light) and it has been very comfortable and durable.
The Rollypoly is great for dumping all your pocket contents into when going through security, or for miscellaneous trash until you can find a trash can.

Pistol Belt quick release, reliable.
I used the pad off some cheap husky bags.
Electricians pouch keep my pencils, screw drivers, wrenches, catspaw, end nippers, knife, and other things. The little loop clip I keep athletic tape on for blowouts.
Magazine dump pouch for my hammer
CLC pouch speed square, chalk box, safety glasses, nail racks, tape, and hand drives.
I used to have a smart phone holder because it's tough to reach in my pockets with bags on but I don't know where it went.

u/Brettg4215 · 1 pointr/ar15

Yea, doing it yourself is pretty time consuming but when done well, it looks good. There is always this route but I've heard sometimes the ones on the spine will not stick well. That's where stippling is a plus.

u/ben827 · 1 pointr/Nerf

Slightly off topic (pretty relevant to the original post, though): I checked Amazon and the price for the pouches ranges from about $5-30 for one and about $25-30 for a set of 4. Just in case anyone was wondering. It's a pretty odd price range.

This is one of the better deals for a set of 4 I found on Amazon if anyone was wondering.

Here's one for a set of 2 if anyone was wondering. Not the greatest deal of all time, though.

Edit: Better deal for the set of 2.
Hope I helped some of you out.

u/Lazyredditname · 1 pointr/cosplay

Not sure if these are what you had in mind, but I found some stuff on Amazon that comes to considerably less than $150.
If you're in Canada(like myself) there's this holster, and bandolier.
If you're in the States then it's a bit cheaper as most things seem to be with this holster, with the bandolier.

These are in your range and new. I have the Blackhawk single mag carriers and I like them.

Hehe.. good job. Did you miss the three thirty round mags? 10 rd is in the AR.

This slips in well and will hold up to six http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035J8CDA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/ARGO_SUPREME · 1 pointr/airsoft

Get these. I almost strictly use SMGs and these have been the best. I'm sure there are similar ones and you can look around. But Condor's and some others have an adjustable top strap that uses velcro inside the pouch to adjust for taller mags. It makes the pouches too tight and is useless for normal sized MP5 mags.
