This is a vinyl car wrap for anyone wondering.

This is what I followed. Just take your time and you won't have any issues. It took me about 2 1/2 hours.
Edit: Before everyone asks this is the wrap I used. 12" X 60"black Carbon Fiber 3d Professional Grade Wrap Vinyl Film Sheet-hq https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PTNE3W/
Cheaper then the 3M stuff.
just go for it! don't forget to upload gif!
I used this product, very good quality!
The shifter trim is complicated to do.
The doors are pretty easy. And the trim above the glove box is not easy because you can't remove it. https://www.amazon.ca/-/fr/gp/aw/d/B00YLFUFLY

I've done a chrome delete. I used this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0728N99B5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_9SiYBb99S0E9S
It took about 2 hours or so to do it myself. Wasn't that hard, but I did make some mistakes and I plan to redo some of it. Definitely buy the bigger roll as I only had about 2ft left after I was done.
Basically all you have to do is cut a strip the length of the piece you're going to do. Then start on one end and peel the backing off a bit and just push it down and work your way around. If you get air bubbles or mess it up it's easy to pull it off and redo it without ruining it. Take a knife and cut the excess off the sides. Go slowly, it can be tedious. Make sure to wash all of the pieces you're going to do very well before hand so the vinyl sticks nicely.
I've had it on for about 4 months now and it doesn't show any signs of wear or coming off
How was your installation experience? Amazon reviews are pretty good except for a couple upset customers that had install troubles. As someone that buys a 2- or 3- pack of phone screen protectors knowing the first one or two will have a bubble or trapped lint, I feel like I need to buy a couple of these. At least they're priced nice at $30.
Edit: Thanks all for your feedback. Definitely adding this to my post-delivery shopping list.

dunno, buy something like this
then cut 4 rectangles and make the microsoft logo :D
This is not the 3M vinyl I got this. About the corners, I just went over them with my xacto blade and it took some time. I never heard about this heat technique, will it work on this type of wrap?
This looks a lot better than the boy racer-esque fake carbon fiber. Got a link to it?
This is what I could find: 3M 1080 MX12 Matrix Black 5ft x 1ft W/Application Card Vinyl Vehicle Car Wrap Film Sheet Roll https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078X3RMFC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DSpTDb2CRXKY7
VViViD XPO White Carbon Fiber Car Wrap Vinyl Roll with Air Release Technology (1ft x 5ft) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L9J9S4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.vfQCb9QSNPK0 - I really recommend this one because it has this air release technology which makes getting bubbles out so easy. Also you get a huge roll for $10 while a single skin from Dbrand can cost that or more. If your willing to take the time and effort it's definitely worth it, I did it on my S9+ too!
The door pillar trim on this gen of CRV tends to degrade after a few years. I've seen this happen on almost all Gen 3 CRVs on the road, mine included.
What I've done to mine was sand it down until the surface coating was completely off, and then I applied 3M Carbon fiber decorative wrap all around it. It's been going strong for 4+ years now.
Alternatively, eBay, Amazon and other online stores will sell you plastic/metal "pillar trims" specific to your vehicle. Make sure you look for the ones with all the pieces (there's a small rectangular piece for the rear windows that's often missed).
If you look at some of the pictures of the side, you can zoom in on my pillars and see how they look with the 3M wrap.

Use these magnets to help you out. Works great for solo wrapping.
It comes with sticky tape of the back, here is a link http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009PTNE3W
I got the vinyl from amazon and also a cheap heat gun and the keyboard wqs from a sale on buyee. VViViD XPO Black Carbon Fiber Car Wrap Vinyl Roll Featuring Air Release Technology (17.75 Inch x 5ft) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YLFUFLY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YSb1Db6JGFHF0
i would prefer to test it with a film: http://www.amazon.com/12x60Chrome-Mirror-Silver-Sticker-Self-adhesive/dp/B00LY81CAY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1450827362&sr=8-4&keywords=mirror+film

Here's the wrap

And here are the only cool pictures I have of the wrap
probably stick-on vinyl https://smile.amazon.com/VVIVID-White-Carbon-Release-Technology/dp/B00L9J9S4K
I have a LX, with the chrome trim. I used black vinyl tape to cover the trim up
https://www.amazon.com/VViViD-No-More-Chrome-Overlay-Black-Out/dp/B0728N99B5/
https://i.redd.it/cbw3727i3fp11.jpg
Otherwise, you can get the sport trim pieces for .... $380
https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/BK-MDG-KIT.html
Here is an example of what I used. Most sheets come in 5' long rolls, so you will have to cut two strips and tape them together, placing the joining section between cutouts. Surly rims have a wide section where the stem hole is and directly across from that where I placed mine. Also, I recommend leaving the backing on the vinyl because they are tough to work with if the sticky side is exposed. Good luck!
I used the vinyl kit https://www.amazon.com/VViViD-Matte-Black-Chevy-Bowtie/dp/B01AVGXIUQ?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_9167379011 I installed it on a Spark EV a few months ago for a friend and it still looks great (not pealing or shrinking) but you need to follow the instructions closely. I will try to take a photo next time she comes over.
The power liftgate mod from teslaoffer.com is a bitch to install but it’s pretty damn awesome.
Center console wraps and such? Kenriko is my preferred option there.
Aftermarket wheels/winter tires etc. TSportline and EV Wheel Direct are good Tesla-specific options.
Other than that, I second the other posts re: Floor mats and wireless charging pads.
Yeah I used the Kenriko one and it took me I think 3 hours to install... and that’s why I paid someone to do my chrome delete 🙂. Maybe the EV items one is easier?
Kenriko Tesla Model 3 Matte White Console Wrap Kit
It's a vinyl wrap. You can buy sheets on amazon.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B072Q2GFSK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Z0MMBb1C9TJRZ
I would definitely recommend finding a business to do it for you though... I'm told it's not an easy installation
Hey! It was pretty straight forward... used this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FXYH470/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just stretched it over the lid and used the little gap between the lid and its lip as a guide to cut the piece out! Its surprisingly easily since its just a flat piece. Let me know if you have any other questions!
You bet. For center cap removal on the Performance version, bolt removal is not required and there's a few different methods to get the cap off, typically involving a suction cup or small "hook" tool, but seeing as I didn't have either of those I used a wine key, and *carefully* twisted the corkscrew into the cap and simply pulled it straight out. After plasti-dip was complete and dry I just snapped these right back on.
This video shows a few methods: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL--sR3GMyQ
Note* do NOT try the third method which is prying from the edges. The cap is delicate and this could snap it.
If you don't have the performance model this video shows how to get the aero cover off and replace the center cap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZV3WpPfaio
If you're looking for a "T" logo you can get these on amazon:

They don't have any felt on the bottom, just a piece of plastic.

For those interested I used the following to do this wrap

3M 1080 MX12 Matrix Black 5ft x 1ft W/Application Card Vinyl Vehicle Car Wrap Film Sheet Roll
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078X3RMFC/
Don't use the application card that comes with this it can scratch wrap.

Kenriko Tesla Model 3 Matrix Black Console Wrap Kit

So what I did today.
To do later

This weekend is going to be full of mods. Im taking the car into GeekSquad to get some Kicker Speakers, a Subwoofer and a single channel amp to power the sub. This is the same setup I had in my previous car and it SUNG. So far the speakers of the None Bose kinda suck imo and NEED to change. Im going to be installing a LOT of things hardwired into the car. FootWell LEDs (if they arrive in time), Dashcam and the front grill LEDs.

The hardest part in my opinion will be getting the plastics wrapped. Im using this vinyl wrap from Amazon and I think It looks AMAZING! Ive never wrapped anything before so Its been a slow process. Ive gotten the rear switch panels done. Let me know what you all think of them! I did these without using heat and even then it wasnt that bad.
Even if it didn't work while in use, it'll at least still charge while I'm away. Which is one less thing to worry about and one less cable I have to deal with.
I guess I could always use a vinyl wrap like this to hide the LED's. Would probably look better than the glossy silver too.
I'm in the process of building my cabinet now.. Doing all the cutting etc myself.. It hasn't been easy to say the least..
Here are the costs I have so far:
$50 - (2) Sheets of 3/4" x 4 x 8 MDF
$20 - (1) Sheet of 1/2" x 4 x 8 MDF
$14 - (4) Caster Wheels
$17 - 20' of Orange T-Molding
$40 - (2) Joysticks, 20 Buttons, 2 USB Encoders
$25 - 10 LED Buttons and a Player 1/2 LED Buttons (After I got the above buttons and realized I wanted LED ones instead) :(
$36 - (3) Rolls of 24" x 60" Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap(No idea who this is going to look / work, or if it's enough but decided to try it..)
$202 grand total (so far).. May get a trackball which is an additional $50 just not sure yet..
I have an I5 laptop with SSD and 16GB of ram and a 19" 4:3 monitor so no expenses there..
I'd say equally the most time consuming part is setting up Mame/HyperSpin/Etc.. I think that alone is why a lot of people go with RetroPie.. I think it's a lot easier..
I bought some black vinyl adhesive to black out the GMC logos on mine. I think it looks way better and have gotten several compliments. Here’s a pic https://imgur.com/gallery/o313Iut and here’s the amazon link for the adhesive https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPN0BB8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share . One guy even assumed it was some expensive special edition just because of the black logos!
Don't know why it got removed. This was original text.
" I didn't think the smudgy chrome bothered me until I got the wraps. These things look sharp. The guy who makes them is on here somewhere and there's probably some rule against promoting your own stuff but it's not my company, I just have them on my car and think they look awesome. I love that my stock black is now just a little different than other 3s. They are super worth $20 and took no time to install. Been about a month, still look and feel perfect. I have no bad things to say about this product. Check out the pics on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GNY1VRR "
A quick search yields this guy showing you how to use $25 3M 1080 Black Carbon Fiber 1ft x 5ft Vinyl Car Wrap.
But my first thought would be good quality duck tape.
Op deleted the post for whatever reason
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GNY1VRR
Get the center console wrap from Kenriko. A lot of people have said great things about his products
https://www.amazon.com/Kenriko-Tesla-Model-Matte-Console/dp/B07F2Q2PP8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=Kenriko&qid=1555364538&s=gateway&sr=8-3
Edit nvm you have the wrap. Next logical thing would be to take the whole thing apart and paint it yourself or find a shop willing to do it.
They use chrome vinyl, I know the guy who started this down here in Miami.
This isn't the exact one they use, but it should work for what you need.

Chin Spoiler...
But. Chrome wrap it? https://www.amazon.com/Chrome-Mirror-Silver-Adhesive-Decoration/dp/B072Q2GFSK/ref=asc_df_B072Q2GFSK/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241915008172&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15368620479314955704&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9029641&hvtargid=pla-457952240761&psc=1
I meant grab something (anything) and cut it up and slap it on. Now that I look, that would be much more expensive from a skin retailer. Here. You can use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun.
You too can make your Honda look like shit.
So far so good. https://www.amazon.com/VINYL-FROG-Chameleon-Metallic-Stretchable/dp/B077GTBGWB
